40'
Duda's free-kick is again wasteful. Klose had made a good run but the Slovakian's ball in sails over everyone and out for an Everton goal-kick. Farke slaps his hands together in disgust on the bench.

9'
Everton are playing the ball forward to their front two quickly. The offside flag goes up against Richarlison from Calvert-Lewin's throughball.
7'
Krul's loose touch almost puts him into trouble with Calvert-Lewin closing him down. The Dutch keeper manages to hook the ball forward only for Everton's defenders to gobble it up. Norwich are easy on the eye, for sure, but they're definitely naive at times.

Everton get this game underway!
Hello! Welcome to our live text commentary of this midweek Premier League match between Norwich City and Everton at Carrow Road, Norwich.
One game into Project Restart, Norwich's hopes of escaping relegation from the Premier League already look bleak. Fresh from a 3-0 home thumping by Southampton, Daniel Farke's team are six points adrift from safety and need a winning run in their remaining eight games to have even the faintest chance of staying up. There's no time like the present.
Norwich's visitors today are Everton, who gained a creditable 0-0 draw with champions-elect Liverpool last time out. Europe is probably beyond Carlo Ancelotti's side now, but the Toffees can still achieve a top half finish. They'll be hoping to head back to Merseyside with an easy three points. But will they?
NORWICH CITY (4-2-3-1): Tim Krul; Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey, Timm Klose, Jamal Lewis; Alexander Tettey (c), Kenny McLean; Lukas Rupp, Ondrej Duda, Onel Hernandez; Josip Drmic.
SUBS: Emiliano Buendia, Todd Cantwell, Teemu Pukki, Marco Stiepermann, Tom Trybull, Mario Vrancic, Moritz Leitner, Michael McGovern, Adam Idah.
EVERTON (4-4-2): Jordan Pickford; Seamus Coleman (c), Michael Keane, Mason Holgate, Lucas Digne; Alex Iwobi, Tom Davies, Andre Gomes, Bernard; Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.
The two sides step out onto the pitch at a sweltering Carrow Road. Norwich are wearing their idiosyncratic yellow and green home kit, while Everton will play in their salmon pink and navy blue away kit.
Norwich City look all but relegated after two consecutive home defeats. They just can't score now for love nor money. Keane, Everton's man of the match, made the difference for the visitors, who still have hopes they can qualify for Europe.
