Norwich's possession finally comes to an end and Palace counter through Ayew who powers down the inside-right channel. His shot is deflected out for a Palace corner.
30'
Zimmermann carries the ball out from the back to find McLean on the left flank. Norwich keep possession rather than risk losing out, which Palace are quite happy to let them do.

GOAL! 1-0 NORWICH! Norwich score with their first attack of the game. Buendia drifts into the box from the right and shoots with his left foot. Sakho is in the way but the ball lands to Cantwell who slots home from close range!
The assist goes to Buendia then. Only Trent Alexander-Arnold and De Bruyne have made more PL assists than the Argentine this season. Palace needn't fret yet as Norwich aren't the best at holding onto leads.

And we're off here at Carrow Road!
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of this Premier League match between Norwich City and Crystal Palace at Carrow Road!
Norwich played well in their last match here against Tottenham but only came away with a 2-2 draw to show for it. With the teams around them all starting to pick up wins, Daniel Farke's side really need to start doing the same if they want to have a hope of escaping relegation.
Crystal Palace arrive at Carrow Road on the back of three draws in their last five Premier League games. Roy Hodgson's team boast one of the league's best defences. A top-half finish isn't beyond them if they can start scoring more goals too.
