GOAL! 3-1 CITY! Sterling scores almost a carbon copy of his first goal, tapping in from close range after Oxford overcommit forward. That should be the game now.
This time it was Jesus who delivered the cross from the left instead of Angelino, but the outcome was the same. Sterling has his second of the match, and City should be home and dry.
69'

41'
Oxford try to counter-attack and Taylor's effort from range is always going over. It's a shot at least from the home side, who haven't looked too bad in this half.
40'
City's dominance continues. Mahrez dinks towards Sterling in the box and Dickie is there to head it away from danger.
37'

The assist goes to Foden who found Cancelo bombing forward. The visitors have a lead they scarcely deserve.

And we're off! Man City get this quarter-final underway.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of this EFL Cup quarter-final match between Oxford United and Manchester City at Kassam Stadium, Oxford.
For the second season in a row, League One side Oxford United host Premier League champions Man City in the EFL Cup. City saw off United 3-0 in the third round last time. This time, though, there's a semi-final place at stake.
Given the two divisions between the two sides, City boss Pep Guardiola will surely take the chance to rest some players ahead of his team's vital match against Leicester City this weekend. Will Oxford be able to get revenge on their illustrious visitors?
OXFORD UNITED (4-3-3): Jordan Archer; Sam Long, Elliott Moore, Robert Dickie (c), Josh Ruffels; Shandon Baptiste, Cameron Brannagan, Alex Rodriguez; Daniel Agyei, Matty Taylor, Tariqe Fosu-Henry.
SUBS: Jamie Mackie, Mark Sykes, Jack Stevens, Chris Cadden, John Mousinho, Robert Hall, James Henry.
MANCHESTER CITY (4-3-3): Claudio Bravo; Joao Cancelo, Eric Garcia, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Angelino; Phil Foden, Rodrigo, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling (c), Riyad Mahrez.
SUBS: Scott Carson, Benjamin Mendy, Gabriel Jesus, Adrian Bernabe, Ilkay Gundogan, Alpha Richard Dionkou, Nicolas Otamendi.
The two sides are out on a wet and windy Kassam Stadium pitch. There's a minute applause for the former Oxford boss Jim Smith who passed away at the age of 79 last week.
Man City's win means they march on to the EFL Cup semi-finals. Elsewhere, Man Utd have beaten Colchester 3-0 at Old Trafford, while Everton and Leicester drew 2-2 at Goodison Park and are entering a penalty shootout. Aston Villa of course saw off Liverpool's reserves 5-0 yesterday.
Man City can now look forward to finding out who they'll face in the semi-finals, although their thoughts will turn more immediately to their match against Leicester this weekend. A third straight EFL Cup win looks well within their grasp. That's all for now. Goodbye!
