Milivojevic has another chance to send in a free-kick. The ball is pinged towards the back post, where David Luiz tracks the ball all the way to head it clear. Chelsea could do with the full-time whistle!
90' +1
Palace are committing bodies forward, leaving plenty of gaps at the back for Chelsea to break into. Hazard and Morata lead this latest counter, but the move breaks down before any sort of shot arrives. Four minutes have been added on at Selhurst Park.
90'
CHANCE FOR WICKHAM! That was the opportunity Palace had been holding out for. Tomkins nods down Milivojevic's free-kick and Wickham - despite being tightly marked by Rudiger - gets a toe to it, sending his shot over the frame of the goal.
88'
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces R. Barkley.
Sarri freshens things up in the middle of the field by bringing on Kovacic for Barkley. Chelsea have two minutes, plus added time, to see through.
87'
WIDE! The home side are now on the front foot, pretty much for the first time today. Zaha's eyes light up when cutting the ball on to his right boot 15 yards from goal, but he curls it over the crossbar.
86'
Much better from Palace, at long last! Van Aanholt has room to get a shot away inside the box, sending his effort against Jorginho and behind for a corner. Meyer sends in the ball but it hits the first man - terrible delivery.
84'
Zaha is frustratingly flagged for offside out on the left to bring what looked like being a promising Palace attack to an end. Sarri will be furious if his side somehow drop two points, having seen his side cruise through this second half.
82'
Emerson enters the game and replaces Willian.
Emerson is brought on for the second match running, taking over from Willian for the final eight minutes - a more advanced position than the full-back is accustomed to.
81'
Poor from Palace, yet again, as Townsend overhits his intended pass for McArthur and the ball runs out of play. Not to curse Chelsea, but Hodgson's men do not look like they have a goal in them.
Minute
Description
80'
Schlupp's shot in the 23rd minute remains the only time the home side have got an effort away today - on target or otherwise. Chelsea, meanwhile, have had 12 attempts, four of those on target. And yet this match is still in the balance with 10 minutes to go.
78'
M. Meyer enters the game and replaces C. Kouyaté.
Hodgson makes his second change of the match, bringing on Meyer - a regular in recent weeks after forcing his way into the side - for the more defensive Kouyate.
77'
Any long-term injury for Giroud would be a a blow for Sarri, who simply does not trust Morata through the middle. The Spain striker now has 13 minutes to prove himself, with Chelsea needing a second goal to kill off this London derby.
76'
Álvaro Morata enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
After a short stoppage, Giroud is replaced by Morata. Not sure if that was a change Sarri wanted to make, but his hand was forced somewhat as Giroud was injured by the challenge from Tomkins.
73'
Azpilicueta is picked out on the overlap down the right and sends the ball into the middle, where Guaita is waiting to collect the ball down low. From their next move, Tomkins gets on the end of Jorginho's clipped pass.
71'
Chelsea could really do with a second goal to settle the nerves. Sarri's men have been dominant and could have wrapped things up through that Willian chance a few minutes ago, but as it is Palace are still in with a shout of nicking an unlikely point.
69'
C. Wickham enters the game and replaces J. Schlupp.
Wickham, who now appears to be over his injury nightmare, comes on for Schlupp with just over 20 minutes to go.
67'
This is pretty much Palace's best moment of the second half, as Townsend's cross is cleared by Jorginho into the body of Alonso. The home fans appeal for a penalty, but Craig Pawson clearly felt it did not hit the defender's hand at any point.
66'
Pass, pass, pass - Chelsea are cruising as we approach the final quarter of the match. Hodgson is reluctant to change anything, which is a surprise as his team are struggling at the moment, even if there is just the one goal in it.
65'
Chelsea boss Sarri is scribbling down plenty of notes in his book. The Italian is no doubt pleased with the way this match is panning out, with Palace unable to enjoy any sustained pressure.
63'
Palace have still yet to register an on-target attempt today and have just one shot of any sort. That has to change if they are to take a point from this London derby, which Chelsea have dominated in the first 63 minutes.
61'
Hodgson could do with freshening up his side as we enter the final half an hour at Selhurst Park. McArthur tries to slip the ball through for Schlupp, but it is pounced on by Azpilicueta and the rare Palace attack comes to a disappointing end.
53'
That Kante opener certainly changes the complexion of the game now - Palace can no longer sit deep inside their own half. McArthur plays Zaha in behind, but the offside flag goes up on the far side.
51'
N. Kanté has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by David Luiz.
With a number of Chelsea's attacking players being shackled, David Luiz took matters into his own hands with this ball from deep. A good assist and an even better take and finish from Kante.
GOOOAAALLL!!! PALACE 0-1 CHELSEA! The visitors finally find a way through at Selhurst Park. Kante, who can no longer be described as an unlikely goalscorer, chests down David Luiz's deep pass and tucks the ball past Guaita. Van Aanholt may have blocked Guaita's vision, as the goalkeeper got a touch to the ball but could not stop it from trickling over the line.
50'
Willian miscontrols a simple pass to his feet, pretty much summing up the opening exchanges of this second half.
49'
Palace's defenders are sitting right on the edge of their 18-yard box, making life very difficult for Chelsea to thread balls in behind. This could well be a game when Sarri's subs come in handy...
48'
Chelsea are having to remain patient in the early stages of the second period. Much like in the first half, the visitors are in control of the ball but are not creating anything of note from open play.
46'
Palace get us back underway at Selhurst Park! Neither manager has made any changes for the start of the second half.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: PALACE 0-0 CHELSEA
45' +1
Zaha goes down clutching his head after being caught by Rudiger. There was definitely some contact, as Rudiger led with his elbow, but Craig Pawson feels that it was not intentional.
44'
Barkley with a near perfect pass over the top for Kante, which is intercepted by Sakho inside the box. The home side are being penned right back at the end of the first half.
42'
Townsend clatters into a female photographer when attempting to keep Zaha's pass in play, which he failed to achieve despite his best efforts. The England winger checks that she is OK and gets a thumbs up.
40'
One effort on target for Chelsea in this first half, with Guaita keeping out Willian's long-range shot a couple of minutes ago, but the visitors have also hit the frame of the goal on a couple of occasions. Palace are desperate for the half-time whistle.
34'
Chelsea are dominating the match in terms of passes and possession, but Palace are not exactly holding on. Jorginho shows why he was so reluctant to shoot a little earlier as he sends his long-range drive high and wide of the opposition target.
32'
BLOCK! Chelsea have had 63% of the ball in the opening third of the match. Unlike Jorginho a couple of minutes ago, Hazard does not need a second invitation to shoot, sending this latest shot into the legs of Tomkins.
29'
Jorginho passes up the chance to shoot on a couple of occasions, to the frustration of the traveling supporters. The Brazil midfielder is in space 22 yards from goal, but instead decides to attempt a pass that was never on.
27'
Chelsea are not quite having things all their own way at Selhurst Park, but they are the team looking the more likely to make the breakthrough. Willian wins a corner and swings it into the middle, but Giroud lets the ball run into a more central position, where Sakho is waiting to clear.
25'
Some more solid defending from Rudiger denies Zaha an easy header in front of goal. That followed some good play from Milivojevic, who found enough space to ping the ball into a wide area for Wan-Bissaka to control.
21'
The match has an end-to-end feel of it now. Azpilicueta hooks the ball clear at one end and Palace do well to clear their lines moments later at the other.
20'
Just the one real chance of any note in the opening quarter of the match, then, with Rudiger making a mess of his header. Palace are no longer sitting back, as was the case in the first 10 minutes, but they have not yet created anything as of yet.
18'
SHOT! Giroud shows exactly why he has been given the nod through the middle as he brings down the ball and lays it off for Kante, who sends a shot flying wide of the opposition target. The France midfielder is more of an attacking threat this season, but he still needs to work on his shooting.
16'
Palace are looking a lot more threatening all of a sudden. Rudiger produces a good block to prevent McArthur from finding a route through on goal, and the hosts struggle to do much with the corner.
14'
CHANCE! Chelsea win a free-kick 25 yards from goal, which Willian curls into a dangerous position. Rudiger peels away from his marker but only succeeds in looping the ball into the air with his header, allowing Guaita to collect.
12'
PENALTY SHOUT! Zaha and Azpilicueta tangle in the box when attempting to win an aerial ball. The home fans want a penalty, but Zaha does not exactly appeal and referee Craig Pawson is happy for play to continue. There was very little in it.
10'
Marcos Alonso gets yellow.
Alonso is furious with the quality of the pass from David Luiz, which bounces over his head and out of play. The full-back punches the ball into the ground in a sign of frustration and is shown the game's first yellow card as a result.
8'
Townsend nearly breaks clear but is halted by a mixture of Jorginho and David Luiz. Normal service is soon resumed as Chelsea are back in control of the ball.
7'
Alonso and Azpilicueta are basically playing as wide forwards, pushing the Palace defence deep into their own half. The visitors' latest move comes to a disappointing end as the offside flag goes up against Giroud, who was attempting to get on the end of Kante's pass.
5'
Jorginho is dictating the tempo of the game from the centre of the park. Palace can barely get a touch of the ball at the moment, but Chelsea are not really hurting their opponents when they get into advanced areas.
3'
Chelsea are enjoying plenty of the ball early on, with Palace happy to sit back and soak up the pressure. The home side are effectively playing with five players in midfield.
1'
Following a well-observed minute's silence to remember those connected to both clubs who have passed away this year, Chelsea get this London derby underway!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Crystal Palace and Chelsea at Selhurst Park.
Chelsea are fourth in the table after returning to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Watford on Boxing Day through Eden Hazard’s double, though three defeats in their last seven top-flight matches leaves them battling it out for fourth place rather than competing for the title. Palace, meanwhile, have taken seven points from the last nine on offer - inflicting a shock defeat on champions Manchester City in that run - and they can move eight points clear of the relegation zone with another surprise win today.
Palace subs: Joel Ward, Jordan Ayew, Connor Wickham, Max Meyer, Wayne Hennessey, Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon
PALACE XI (4-4-2): Vicente Guaita; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho, Patrick van Aanholt; James McArthur, Luka Milivojevic (c), Cheikhou Kouyate, Jeffrey Schlupp; Andros Townsend, Wilfried Zaha
Chelsea subs: Davide Zappacosta, Andreas Christensen, Emerson, Mateo Kovacic, Ethan Ampadu, Alvaro Morata, Willy Caballero
CHELSEA XI (4-3-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta (c), Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso; N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ross Barkley; Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud, Willian
The two teams are now out on the field at Selhurst Park and we are moments away from kick-off. Chelsea can move five points clear of fifth-place Arsenal with victory in their game in hand today, while Palace will be looking to put more distance between themselves and the bottom three.
Chelsea are unable to find a way through in a goalless first half at Selhurst Park. The visitors had the better of things in the opening 45 minutes, twice hitting the post and also testing Guaita through a long-range attempt from Willian, but Palace just about did enough to go into the interval all square.
Palace had zero shots on target in the first half and managed just one attempt of any note, though a 0-0 draw will be considered a good result if they can see things through. Roy Hodgson's men have taken an identical scoreline into half-time on nine occasions already this season and have failed to win any of the previous eight.
After tightening their grip on the top four this weekend, moving five points clear of fifth-place Arsenal, Chelsea can now prepare for Wednesday's visit of Southampton with a spring in their step. Palace, on the other hand, are just four points above the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Wolves on the same day.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
