OFF THE POST! Kimmich is unable to join Ribery in opening his account for the season as he clips the outside of the post with his swerving effort from just outside the box.
88'
Nurnberg concede a free-kick - Misidjan catching Lewandowski with a high foot - but the home side do not really make the most of it. Bredlow punches Alaba’s deflected delivery into the air and a free-kick is awarded in his side’s favour for a foul.
86'
Bayern have not been penetrative enough over the past 20 minutes to add to their three goals. The home side are closing in on 1,000 passes, as their opponents continue to stand off and allow them to knock the ball around.
84'
Ewerton enters the game and replaces P. Erras.
Here comes that sixth and final substitution of the day, with Bundesliga debutant Ewerton taking over from the ineffective Erras.
83'
Well if nothing else Bayern are racking up their pass count. Kollner has another substitution available should he wish in the final seven minutes.
81'
Into the final 10 minutes in Bavaria and Bayern are perhaps just starting to increase the tempo again. Their performance arguably deserves a fourth goal to round things off.
79'
CLOSE! Bayern’s liveliest moment in a while, coming via the fresh legs of Coman. The substitute attacker shifts the ball onto his right boot and unleashes a shot past Bredlow’s post from inside the area. There was some good footwork from Lewandowski in the build-up to that shot.
77'
This match at the Allianz Arena might be petering to its conclusion, but there is still plenty to play for in the clash between local rivals Schalke and Dortmund. The Bundesliga pacesetters have edged back in front in that one with 15 minutes to go - a certain Jadon Sancho with the goal.
75'
S. Wagner enters the game and replaces S. Gnabry.
Kovac, who has lifted a lot of pressure off his shoulders over the past week, brings on Wagner for the lively Gnabry in Bayern’s final change.

Description
74'
Not a great deal happening at the Allianz Arena at the moment, truth be told, as Bayern are cruising over the line for a second league win on the spin.
72'
Fresh legs on the field for Nurnberg, then, but it is not making a great deal of difference. Bayern seem happy to settle for the three goals.
70'
O. Petrák enters the game and replaces S. Rhein.
Kollner turns to his bench for the first time today as Zrelak takes over from Kerk.
Make that a double change for the down-and-out visitors - Rhein is off and Petrak on in his place.
69'
A. Zreľák enters the game and replaces S. Kerk.
68'
A roar goes up around the Allianz Arena, as Dortmund have been pegged back at 1-1 in their derby clash with Schalke. As things stand, Bayern will close the gap on the leaders to seven points.
66'
D. Alaba gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the day is shown to Alaba for pulling back on Misidjan.
65'
A rare attacking move for the visitors culminates in Kerk's shot deflecting behind off the boot of Sule for their first corner.
63'
K. Coman enters the game and replaces F. Ribéry.
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces L. Goretzka.
Thiago, another player who has been carrying a knock, comes on for Goretzka in a double Bayern change.
Coman makes his return from injury by replacing goalscorer Ribery for the closing 27 minutes in Bavaria.
60'
Bayern have looked comfortable all game and it is now a case of just how many they can add to their tally before the contest comes to an end. Kollner's tactics have simply not worked today.
58'
The points safely in the bag, Kovac appears to be readying a couple of players to come on for the final half an hour or so. Looks as though Coman is one of those about to be introduced.
56'
F. Ribéry has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOOOOAAALLL! Bayern 3-0 Nurnberg! Well if it was not game over beforehand it certainly is now, courtesy of this maiden league goal of the campaign for Ribery. Bredlow has another shocker as he clears the ball as far as Gnabry, who brings the ball forward and tests the keeper when the angle is against him. The ball falls favourably for Ribery in the middle to convert through the legs Bredlow, however - his first goal since March.
55'
Bayern came close through that side-footed attempt from Kimmich seconds into the second period, forcing Bredlow into a smart save, but that aside they have not really looked like adding to their tally.
54'
It could well be a case of Bayern going through the motions in this second half, with the points already as good as in the bag, though their goal difference could still do with some improving.
52'
Alaba has a pop after a corner is not properly dealt with by the visitors, but he does not come close to joining Lewandowski on the Bayern scoresheet.
48'
GREAT STOP! This could be a busy second half for Bredlow, who has produced yet another save just a couple of minutes after the restart. Lewandowski, Goretzka and Kimmich exchange passes, before the latter fires in a low drive from the edge of the box that is well dealt with by the opposition keeper.
46'
The referee Tobias Stieler gets us back underway at the Allianz Arena!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 2-0 NURNBERG
44'
ANOTHER CHANCE! Goden clatters into Ribery on the wing, making little effort to win the ball, to concede a free-kick in a dangerous position. Sule could not turn Kimmich's set-piece goalwards from a couple of yards out, instead laying it off to Boateng who blasts it over the bar.
42'
Bayern have a couple of goals to their name but they probably should have had one or two more. A rare attacking move from the struggling visitors comes to a disappointing end on the edge of the box before a shot arrived.
40'
CLOSE! Lewandowski comes within inches of completing his hat-trick before half-time. Kimmich sends in a cross that is half-cleared to the prolific striker, who fires an 18-yard volley agonisingly wide of the post. Bredlow did not even bother moving!
38'
A bit of respite for the visitors over the past couple of minutes, as the tempo of the match drops slightly. A couple of goals from Lewandowski has given Bayern a deserved two-goal lead here.
37'
Boateng plays a ball from deep that has a little too much on it for Muller, allowing Bredlow to gather. A Nurnberg free-kick is cleared at the other end, but Bayern cannot make the most of the counter.
36'
Bayern are still dominating the game, clearly wanting a third and possibly fourth goal before the interval. Nurnberg may need a rethink for the second half.
34'
Say it quietly, but Bayern have looked back to their old selves today. Some context is needed, of course, as their opponents as the division's joint-worst side when it comes to keeping out goals.
32'
SAVES! Very nearly a third goal for Bayern, who look as though they could score a fair few today. Muller tests Bredlow after a fine turn in the box, and the visiting keeper then reacts well to stop a deflected cross from the same player crossing the line.
28'
Goretzka will not get credited with an assist for that Lewandowski goal, but he certainly should! It was a brilliant attempt from the midfielder, curling the ball onto the frame of the goal from 20 yards and giving his team-mate a tap-in.
27'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOOOAAALLL!! Bayern 2-0 Nurnberg! Lewandowski bags his second goal of the contest, this time finding the net from eight yards with an instinctive finish. Goretzka's long-range drive cannons back off the crossbar and Lewandowski is in the right place at the right time to help the rebound into an empty net.
25'
A dominant first-half showing from Bayern so far, but they have just the one goal to show for it. Kovac would like a couple more before the end of the 90 minutes, and you would not bet against them achieving that at this rate.
21'
Ishak and Gnabry exchange shots, neither of which come close to finding the target. Credit to Nurnberg - they have offered a little more in an attacking sense over the past few minutes.
19'
At this rate a second Bayern goal before the interval is inevitable. The champions are toying with their opponents, patiently probing away as they attempt to double their tally and as good as kill the game off.
17'
SAVE! Bredlow was perhaps at fault for Bayern's opener, being caught in the middle of nowhere by Lewandowski, but he produces a good save to push away a deflected shot from Ribery.
15'
Relentless is the word to describe this start from Bayern - the champions are not giving their opponents a second to breathe. That said, other than the goal they have not exactly created anything.
13'
Bayern are not willing to take their foot off the gas after opening the scoring. Lewandowski in particular is looking lively, with his latest shot well blocked by Muhl.
11'
Nurnberg's gameplan has pretty much gone out the window with that early Bayern goal. They were seemingly prepared to sit back for the full 90 minutes, but that will surely now have to change.
9'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Kimmich.
GOOOOAAALLL!! Bayern 1-0 Nurnberg! Bayern make the breakthrough at the Allianz Arena, and it is through their leading marksman Lewandowski. Kimmich sends a corner in from the left and the Polish striker is there to glance it past Bredlow, who was caught in two minds.
That is now five Bundesliga assists for the season for Kimmich, who made the most of his side's third corner in the space of four minutes.
7'
Constant pressure from Kovac's men in the early stages, without really managing to get the ball into the box. Nurnberg will continue sitting deep in an attempt to frustrate the champions.
5'
Bayern continue with their attempt to build from the back. They have not really managed to ask any questions of the visitors so far, but Leibold has just helped the ball behind for a corner.
3'
A tentative start from the home side, who will have to work hard to break down their opponents today. Nurnberg are lining up with a defensive set-up.

Bayern, seeking back-to-back Bundesliga victories, get us underway in Bavaria!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Nurnberg at the Allianz Arena. Bayern have made their worst start to a league season since 2010-11, collecting just 24 points from their opening 13 matches, and cannot afford another slip-up of any sort today.
Home boss Niko Kovac is under increasing pressure, although he did at least see his side return to winning ways last weekend with a 2-1 victory at Werder Bremen. Bayern come into this game sitting nine points adrift of Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund, while relegation battlers Nurnberg are level on points with the bottom three.
BAYERN XI (4-4-1-1): Manuel Neuer (c); Rafinha, Niklas Sule, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba; Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Franck Ribery; Thomas Muller; Robert Lewandowski
NURNBERG XI (5-4-1): Fabian Bredlow; Kevin Goden, Robert Bauer, Georg Margreitter (c), Simon Rhein, Tim Leibold; Virgil Misidjan, Lukas Muhl, Patrick Erras, Sebastian Kerk; Mikael Ishak
Nurnberg subs: Matheus Pereira, Ondrej Petrak, Ewerton, Yuya Kubo, Adam Zrelak, Patric Klandt, Edgar Salli
The two teams are now out on the field at the Allianz Arena and we are moments away from kick-off. Fourth-place Bayern need victory to keep pace with leaders Dortmund, while Nurnberg risk dropping into the bottom three should they suffer a seventh league defeat of the campaign.
Bayern head into the half-time interval with a deserved two-goal lead through a Lewandowski brace. The Poland international met Kimmich's corner ahead of a stranded Bredlow to open the scoring for the hosts, before doubling his personal tally for the day with a simple finish into an unguarded net 18 minutes later. Nurnberg have offered next to nothing in an attacking sense.
Arguably the biggest concern for Kovac at the midway point of this game will be the fact that it is only a 2-0 lead, as his side should have put the game to bed - if it isn't already, that is! Further chances fell to two-goal Lewandowski, Muller and Boateng, but a mixture of good goalkeeping and poor finishing means that Nurnberg are not dead and buried just yet.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
Dortmund held to on beat Schalke 2-1 in the biggest game of the day in the Bundesliga, incidentally, so Bayern remain nine points adrift of the leaders ahead of their trip to Hannover next week. First up, though, is a meeting with Ajax in the Champions League, while Nurnberg now switch focus to their home match with Wolfsburg in six days' time.
