65'
CHANCE! Niasse causes all sorts of problems for the visitors, racing down the right and cutting back, but his left-footed cross to the back post has too much height and pace on it!
62'
MISS! Baines' corner is very deep, and is headed clear, before it's lofted back in for Keane to head wide.
61'
Everton bustle forward down the right through Coleman and Niasse, and win a corner. They need to respond here.

The anonymous Vlasic is replaced by Niasse as Allardyce looks to get his side back into the game.

45'

33'
Southampton have a nice spell of possession, but can't work that final pass in behind. There's no space behind the Everton back-line at the moment, and Pickford has dealt ably with what's been thrown his way so far.
31'
Southampton nick it on the right and play a clever one-two to release Cedric. The right-back nearly runs it out of play, but salvages it and crosses deep for Lemina, but it's over his head. Delivery from the wide areas needs to be better.

15'
Schneiderlin tries to play the ball over the top of the Southampton defence for Davies, but it's ushered behind. Neither side really commiting themselves forward here, leaving few gaps behind them.
13'

6'
An Everton attack breaks down in the final third and Tadic leads the charge for a counter-attack, but is hauled down by former Saints midfielder Schneiderlin before he can pick Austin out.
4'
Bertrand gets into space on the left, and crosses firmly to the back post where Cedric is arriving, but it's overhit and goes out for a throw-in.
3'
MISS! Both sides just feeling their way into this game, and Davies just curls a low effort wide of the bottom corner with his weaker left foot. Decent effort from a difficult angle there.
1'
And we're off in this crucial fixture for Southampton, who will be looking to take another huge step towards a great escape. Swansea's loss to Bournemouth means that a draw takes them out of the bottom three on goal difference, but a win would do them a world of good.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between Everton and Southampton at Goodison Park.
The line-ups have been announced, and we'll start with the home side.
Everton XI (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford; Leighton Baines, Michael Keane, Phil Jagielka, Seamus Coleman; Morgan Schneiderlin, Idrissa Gueye; Yannick Bolasie, Tom Davies, Nikola Vlasic; Cenk Tosun
Southampton XI (3-5-1-1): Alex McCarthy; Wesley Hoedt, Maya Yoshida, Jan Bednarek; Ryan Bertrand, Mario Lemina, Oriol Romeu, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Cedric Soares; Dusan Tadic; Charlie Austin
Southampton substitutes: Sam McQueen, Shane Long, Fraser Forster, Manolo Gabbiadini, Nathan Redmond, Jack Stephens, James Ward-Prowse
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out, having suffered a small stress fracture in his back, while defender Mason Holgate has returned to training after an ankle injury, but this game comes too soon. James McCarthy (broken leg), Gylfi Sigurdsson and Eliaquim Mangala (both knee) remain long-term absentees.
Sam Allardyce makes two changes to the Everton side that beat Huddersfield last time out, with experienced Englishmen Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott missing out altogether. They are replaced by Davies and Bolasie, respectively.
Mark Hughes makes just one change following his side's morale-boosting 2-1 win over Bournemouth, dropping Redmond to the bench for Hojbjerg. Boufal is not included following his recent dispute with the Southampton manager.
A cagey first half remains goalless at the break, with Pickford's fantastic save from Austin's fierce half-volley the highlight of the game so far. Hughes may spot a crucial three points on the horizon here against a flat home side and an unhappy home crowd, who have not been impressed with their side so far. Southampton may come out swinging in the second half, and could well haul themselves out of the relegation zone.
What an end to the game! Southampton still climb out of the relegation zone on goal difference, West Brom survive another day, and the game between Swansea and Southampton now takes on incredible importance! Substitute Redmond looked to have grabbed a winner for the struggling Saints, but a cruel, stoppage-time, deflected goal from Davies denied them all three points after Yoshida had been sent off for a second yellow card. What a dramatic end to the game! It finishes 1-1 here at Goodison Park!
