88'
N. Redmond enters the game and replaces P. Højbjerg.
Southampton make their third and final change of the evening, with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg being replaced by Nathan Redmond.
83'
Leicester are dominating the game at the moment, they are piling players forward and certainly look the more likely side to go on and score here. Mahrez is causing a lot of problems down the right-wing, providing excellent service to Vardy in the penalty area.
81'
A goal now for either side would surely win this game, which has seen chances come few and far between. A point is a decent return for Southampton, however at this stage of the season they need to be turning draws into wins, especially when already chasing teams above you.
78'
There isn't time left on the clock now, can either side break forward and break the deadlock here? Leicester have improved in the last 10 minutes or so and they now look the stronger side, with Vardy constantly causing the Saints centre-backs problems with his runs in-behind.
76'
F. Diabaté enters the game and replaces K. Ịheanachọ.
Leicester make their first substitution of the game, with Kelechi Iheanacho heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Fousseni Diabaté.
73'
C. Austin enters the game and replaces S. Long.

70'
LEICESTER CHANCE! Vardy times his run perfectly, gets onto the end of a chipped ball over the top, he lets it come over his shoulder and then volleys his effort at goal. McCarthy is alert to the chance though and does well to tip the ball over the crossbar. Much better from the Foxes.

Description
68'
The game is starting to become quite scrappy, with both teams sloppy in possession and making poor decisions whilst on the ball. Southampton will certainly see the game for the taking here, if they could nick a goal late on and clinch a victory it would really help their quest for Premier League survival.
65'
More than an hour played here and the deadlock remains to be broken, Southampton are enjoying more possession of the ball but apart from the Long chance early on, they are struggling to carve any goalscoring chances. Likewise Leicester, they aren't really troubling the Saints and this may be a game for the substitutes to make the difference.
60'
The atmosphere is excellent inside the King Power Stadium, with both sets of supporters really getting behind their teams here. They haven't seen much exciting football so far, but it is certainly an evenly matched game.
58'
S. Davis enters the game and replaces J. Ward-Prowse.
Here is the first substitution of the game, with James Ward-Prowse the man coming off and he has been replaced by Steven Davis.
57'
GREAT SAVE! Hamer with a superb stop to deny Shane Long a goal for the visitors! The ball fell straight into the strikers path, he turned and fired a powerful effort at goal, which Hamer rushed off his line to block and made a terrific stop, denying Saints an almost certain goal.
56'
It looks like Southampton are going to make the first tactical change of the evening, with Steven Davis being prepared on the sidelines.
54'
The traveling Southampton supporters are certainly making their voices heard here, the Saints have a large following here in Leicester tonight and they are encouraged by their sides bright start to the second half.
52'
We have a brief stoppage in play here at Dragovic is down receiving medical treatment after a heavy tackle on Long. The defender went down clutching his thigh, but looks fine to continue for now, with club captain Wes Morgan the perfect replacement on the bench.
51'
The Leicester supporters are starting to get a bit anxious now, with Southampton dominating the early possession at the moment in this second half and Leicester are struggling to get on the ball.
47'
Decent start here by Southampton, they have increased the tempo of their game in these opening couple of minutes, with Long almost getting on the end of a good ball forward, but he is flagged offside. They need to keep this up.
46'
The second half is underway!
45'
That's the half-time whistle!
43'
CHANCE SOUTHAMPTON! Long is played through on goal, he has Tadic to his left or he can go himself, with just Hamer to beat. However the striker seems to get confused about his intentions and his touch is poor and Hamer comfortably gathers. It looks like he tried to pass the ball to Tadic with the outside of his boot, but he got it terribly wrong!
42'
Not long to go until half-time now, can either side break the deadlock before the break? Southampton look the better side at the moment, a goal before the whistle would be a massive boost.
40'
CHANCE! Cedric with the best Saints opportunity of the game! Long chipped a deep ball into the box and it was met on the volley by the full-back at the far post. However, he smashes his effort wide of the near post. He really should've done better with that chance, hitting it across goal to at least force Hamer to make a save.
38'
This is better from Southampton, they are keeping the ball well and it is frustrating Leicester who are now being forced into their own half and to defend. However, they need to show more in the attacking third and create more goalscoring opportunities.
36'
Southampton corner, can they work an opportunity from the set piece? Bertrand whips a terrific ball into the box, it bounces around the area before being half cleared by Leicester. However, the ball is fired straight back into the area, with Bednarek almost getting on the end of it, but Hamer gathers the ball well.
34'
Albrighton plays a lovely ball over the top of the Saints centre-backs, with Vardy the willing chaser, he sprints to the touchline and hooks the ball back into play, looking for Iheanacho in the six-yard box. However, the linesman says that the ball went out of play, Vardy just seconds too late to the ball.
29'
As we approach the half an hour mark here, it remains goalless between the two sides with not many chances for either side to break the deadlock, and there is very little to separate the two teams at the moment.
27'
Shane Long has barely touched the ball for Southampton tonight, the service up to the striker has been poor and he has been feeding off scraps for the majority of the game. The Saints midfield are having to sit deep due to the amount of possession Leicester are having, so when the ball does break up the pitch, Long is isolated alongside the Foxes defenders.
24'
England manager, Gareth Southgate is in the stands here at the King Power Stadium tonight, there are a few players on the England radar for him to cast his eye over. Including Leicester's Harry Maguire, who has enjoyed an excellent first season with the Foxes.
22'
Neither side are threatening to score at the moment, much of the ball is being played in the middle of the pitch and it is constantly switching between the two teams.
18'
Decent effort! Much better build-up play by Southampton as they enjoy a spell of possession themselves. It was well worked down the left wing, the ball then fell to Tadic on the edge of the area, on the half-volley, he fires an effort at goal, but slices it well wide of the Leicester goal.
15'
Decent chance! Iheanacho gets free in the box and is fed by a good ball from Mahrez, the striker had his first effort blocked by Romeu, but he then had the composure and skill to win the ball back, turn and then fire another effort at goal. This time, he gets a shot away and it whistles narrowly wide of the Saints goal, it didn't look like McCarthy was going to save that effort if it was on target.
14'
The Foxes are starting to dominate possession of the ball now, Ndidi is making the difference in midfield, you can see that Leicester have missed him over the past few games. It's all one-way traffic at present, with the Saints struggling to get out of their own half.
11'
Leicester look the more comfortable side on the ball at the moment, they are moving the ball quicker and with more intent, but so far Southampton are doing a good job of keeping them away from their final third. The strikers for both sides have barely touched the ball so far this evening.
7'
Most teams are trying to settle into the game at the moment, neither side is able to control possession and create any early chances. Southampton will be wary of the terrific counter-attacking threat that the Foxes hold, especially at the King Power and won't want to chase the game too early on.
4'
Leicester win the first corner of the game after a quick counter-attack by the Foxes, which almost leads to Vardy being fed through on goal. However, Saints manage to recover in time and Yoshida gets the ball out of play and immediate danger. The corner is whipped into the penalty area, but well cleared by the visitors.
2'
Southampton can close the gap on 17th-placed Swansea to two points with an away win, although the south Wales club will have a game in hand.

An important point for Southampton in their bid to avoid Premier League relegation, however they don't have many games left and are still four points adrift of Swansea, who also have a game in hand, so this will be viewed as an opportunity missed. They had a couple of good chances, but Leicester held firm and made sure they received a share of the points.
It's goalless here at the King Power Stadium, with chances coming few and far between, neither side controlling the game and threatening to score. Leicester's best chance fell to Iheanacho early on, whilst Cedric went close for the visitors shortly before the half-time whistle. All to play for in the second half.
