The second half has begun much in the same way the first half ended. Arsenal are enjoying plenty of possession but simply cannot find any way through this well organised Stoke defence.
46'
We are back underway!
45'
The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time.
43'
Arsenal have enjoyed 68% of the possession in this first half and have created very little with it. Stoke have defended really well and given the Gunners very little space to work in when they do attack.
40'

22'
Close! Chaos in the Stoke box as Arsenal finally find a way forward. Jack Butland tries to punch the ball clear but it can only fall slightly to the right of his goal. It falls only as far as Ramsey, who's chipped effort bounces off the crossbar and out for a goal kick.

15'
Arsenal finally make some headway into the final third and they are showing signs that they are beginning to grow into this game now.

Arsenal are seeing their fair share of possession but they have not really got started at all. They are losing the ball before they make it past the halfway line and Stoke's high press is causing them plenty of problems.

Arsenal get the game underway, kicking right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Premier League game between Arsenal and Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium.
Defeat to Everton just before the international break has left Stoke City in very real danger of relegation as they sit three points adrift of safety with only seven games left to play. They must find points fast but the statistics are grim reading for the Potters after they have failed to win any of their last 17 matches on visits to London, losing 11.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Ospina; Bellerin, Chambers, Mustafi, Monreal; Elneny, Wilshere; Ramsey, Ozil, Welbeck; Aubameyang.
Arsenal subtitutes: Koscielny, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette, Iwobi, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Macey.
Stoke City XI (4-4-2): Butland; Johnson, Shawcross, Martins Indi; Pieters; Bauer, Nidaye, Allen, Ramadan; Diouf, Shaqiri.
Stoke City substitutes: Ireland, Berahino, Cameron, Crouch, Haugaard, Campbell, Sorenson.
Arsenal returned to winning ways before the international break, cruising past Watford in between an impressive aggregate 5-1 victory over Milan. They have won their last 15 consecutive home games against Stoke, last losing in 1981, so they will be the favourites to continue their winning run this afternoon.
Stoke make four changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Everton last time out, with Erik Pieters and Mame Biram Diouf both being recalled to the starting line-up in place of Konstantantinos Stafylidis and Peter Crouch. Kurt Zouma is replaced in defence by Bruno Martins Indi and Moritz Bauer replaces the suspended Charlie Adam.
Arsenal make three changes to the side that beat Milan 3-1 just before the international break. Mohamed Elneny replaces Granit Xhaka in midfield, Calum Chambers replaces Laurent Koscielny in defence and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns after being ineligible for the Europa League. Alexandre Lacazette starts on the bench.
Stoke will be without midfielder Charlie Adam due to the red card he picked up against Everton, while winger Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is out injured. Defender Erik Pieters and forward Mame Biram Diouf are expected to be recalled..
The Gunners will be boosted by the return of Jack Wilshere, who was a doubt ahead of the game after picking up a knee injury while on international duty. Forward Alexandre Lacazette could return as well, but Arsenal’s only long term absentee, midfielder Santi Cazorla, remains out.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 0-0 STOKE CITY.
A rather uneventful half of football comes to an end but Paul Lambert will certainly be the happier of the two managers. Stoke have defended really well, pressed Arsenal into plenty of mistakes and closed out any openings when Wenger's men did attack. Neither side have created much worthy of note in attack so it is all to play for in the second half.
The players are coming back out onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: ARSENAL 3-0 STOKE CITY.
An impressive final 20 minutes sees Arsenal come away with all three points and three goals. Stoke kept the Gunners at bay for over 70 minutes and the game looked to be heading for a goalless draw before Martins Indi brought down Ozil inside the penalty area. Aubameyang stepped up to the fire the ball into the bottom right, setting Arsenal on their way to a dominant finale. Aubameyang sealed the victory following a corner as he fired through a crowded box at the back post from a corner, before Alexandre Lacazaette added gloss to the scoreline; scoring Arsenal's second penalty after the Frenchman was bundled over by Nidaye. The result moves Arsenal five points behind Chelsea in fifth place, who play later this afternoon. Stoke remain in the relegation places.
