THREE minutes added on and we're already well into that allocation.
90' +1
A. Barnes gets yellow.
First booking of the game is a late on, with Barnes having his named taken.
90'
M. Gabbiadini has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by G. Carrillo.
Late corner for Burnley, who look to have found a second wind. Gudmundsson's delivery creates nothing though as the referee spots a foul from the attacking side in the area.
Superb play by Southampton's January signing, who had the awareness to spot Gabbiadini in the middle and provide the opportunity for the equaliser.
GOAL! Southampton have snatched a point! The Saints immediately hit on the counter and Gabbiadini has smashed home. Sims' delivery is knocked back across goal by Carrillo, where the Italian takes one touch before firing past the hapless Pope.
88'
Desperate times for Southampton now and Pellegrino has already shown his hand, with their being no signs of a royal flush for the Saints.
86'
Time is running out for Southampton and unfortunately they don't look like they have anything in them. A huge few weeks ahead for Pellegrino's side as they're set to remain in the Premier League's relegation zone.
84'
Burnley remain on the back foot but Sean Dyche still has all three substitutions available to him, which he is likely to use to wind down time in the closing stages.
82'
CHANCE! Sims has been a bright spark for the Saints since his introduction and he's almost crafted a golden opportunity there, cutting onto his left and driving a ball into the middle that is just over the head of his team-mates.
81'
M. Gabbiadini enters the game and replaces D. Tadić.
Another attacking change for Southampton as they look to snatch what could be a valuable point. Gabbiadini has entered the frame, taking the place of Tadic.
80'
Southampton have dominated proceedings since falling behind and they look dangerous down the left, where Bertrand and Redmond are combining well. However, Burnley's defence remains largely untested.
78'
I said earlier how Burnley would settle for a scrappy 1-0 win and looked set-up to nick a goal, so it's no surprise how the game has panned out thus far. Their defence now needs to remain firm for the closing stages.

Description
77'
The introduction of Boufal shows Pellegrino's intent and Southampton have a decent opportunity from a corner on the far side. Redmond delivers into the middle but there's nobody there to challenge for the ball and it's headed away.
75'
S. Boufal enters the game and replaces Oriol Romeu.
SAVE! Best move of the game for Southampton but they can't beat Pope! Carrillo holds up the ball superbly before tucking it across to Sims, who shifts onto his right foot and curls an effort at goal that is acrobatically tipped behind.
Second change for Southampton as we enter the final 15 minutes, with Boufal taking the place of Romeu.
73'
Redmond takes a corner for Southampton on the near side as they seek to claw their way back into the match but Carrillo's header is comfortably caught on the line by Pope.
72'
This is the sort of game where you look back with regret if you suffer relegation as it's been there for the taking for Southampton. We've had over an hour of very poor football and things could have been a lot different if Pellegrino's side were performing.
70'
Burnley now have their rhythm and there's a contentious incident involving McCarthy, who charged off his line to meet Lennon on the edge of the box. The home fans, and the players, appealed for handball but the referee is well placed to judge otherwise.
68'
J. Sims enters the game and replaces J. Ward-Prowse.
Southampton respond by making the game's first change, introducing Sims in place of Ward-Prowse.
67'
A. Barnes has scored a goal for Burnley! Assist by J. Hendrick.
A scrappy goal for Burnley but the home fans won't care, it's exactly the sort of thing they needed to drag them out of their torrid spell.
GOAL! Burnley take the lead! Lennon's dangerous cross into the middle is volleyed towards goal by Gudmundsson but saved by McCarthy. It only goes as far as Hendrick though, who heads towards goal and Barnes is there to nod home before the Southampton keeper can get there.
65'
Still yet to see any signs of substitutions being made, which is staggering considering how disappointing both teams have been,
63'
It continues to be a scrappy game at Turf Moor, with the majority of play being in the air. Not the sort of viewing football purists would enjoy.
61'
CHANCE! Burnley's best chances have come from the air today and Barnes will be disappointed with his latest effort, as he rises the highest to latch onto Westwood's ball but fails to hit the target.
60'
Heading into the period of the game where you expect substitutions to be made and both sides would benefit from the injection of an attacker.
58'
CHANCE! Burnley unleash Hendrick with an inviting ball through the defence but it doesn't slow for the midfielder, who is met by McCarthy inside the box. The ball bounces loose but the hosts can't capitalise.
57'
Ward wins a corner for Burnley, which Gudmundsson again floats into the middle but McCarthy is quick of his line to punch the ball away. Neither side have made the most of their opportunities from dead ball situations so far today.
55'
Ward-Prowse's delivery from the set-piece is driven low towards the edge of the area but the routine from the training ground doesn't pay off.
54'
Southampton now becoming more of a nuisance for Burnley in the wide areas, where Redmond and Ward-Prowse are becoming heavily involved. We're yet to see a shot on goal but the Saints do have a corner on the near side.
52'
First spell on the ball this half for Burnley, who win a corner on the far side. Gudmundsson's delivery is easily dealt with though and the chance to threaten goes begging.
51'
72% possession for Southampton in the second half, who have improved significantly with the ball. However, they're still to create a threatening opportunity.
49'
Looks like Redmond scoffed down his half-time orange, as the winger has been more lively in the few minutes since the break than he had been for the entirety of the first half.
47'
Decent start for Southampton, who play two dangerous low balls into the box but see them cleared away by the Burnley defence.
45' +1
Decent opportunity for Burnley to get the ball into the box after Tadic fouls Cork, which leads to Gundmundsson standing over the ball. The Icelandic international curls into the middle but Stephens heads behind for a corner.
45'
KICK OFF! Back underwat at Turf Moor, where Southampton get us started and now attack to the right.
44'
Burnley are often trying to catch Southampton out with a long ball over the top of the defence to Barnes but visiting players are wise to it, with Barnes yet to have a sniff at goal.
42'
A very scrappy period of the game now, with a number of fouls being conceded by Southampton. The Saints certainly have their backs against the wall and Pellegrino has work to do at the interval.
40'
OFFSIDE! The best chance of the game looked to have fallen to Hendick as he surged into the box to latch onto a long pass forward but he fails to beat McCarthy one-on-one and the flag is raised by the linesman on the near side anyway.
38'
Burnley have seen 70% of possession in the past ten minutes, with Dyche's men continuing to try and break down the Southampton defence.
36'
Free-kick for Southampton on the left is fired into the box by Ward-Prowse but it fails to create an opportunity.
34'
Two defensive free-kicks in quick succession give Southampton the chance to reduce the pressure they find themselves under but Burnley continue to reduce the space on the field.
32'
After a decent flurry of possession, Southampton are now struggling to find their rhythm again. They're showing the lack of creativity that has been their problem throughout the season and need to get the likes of Tadic involved more.
30'
Tide of the game now appears to be flowing in Burnley's favour, with the Clarets starting to exploit the wide areas of the field. With Soares and Bertrand both keen to get forward down the flanks, that's leaving space for the home side to look to break into.
28'
CHANCE! Burnley now find room on the right with Lowton and he drags a ball back into the middle to Barnes, who turns his man and lays the ball off to Lennon. Romeu blocks the attempt though and puts the ball out for a corner, which comes to nothing.
27'
Hendrick finds room wide on the left for Burnley and lofts a cross into the middle, although the Southampton defence stands firm. Dyche's side now trying to work through from the back.
25'
SAVE! Redmond flashes a low shot at goal from outside the box but it's an easy save for Pope.
24'
Southampton continue to push forward but their attack isn't quite clicking fully in the final third, with sloppy passes conceding possession and a lack of openings being created.
22'
Burnley have been more than happy to grind results out this season and now, seeking a win that will end their run of 10 without three points, look prepared to push for that this afternoon. However, Barnes is looking quite isolated leading the line on his own.
20'
Southampton now looking a lot better on the ball and have become the better of the two sides, although they haven't created anything too threatening since Tadic's effort earlier.
18'
Burnley putting the Saints under a lot of pressure when they don't have the ball and it's restricting the gaps in the defence that can be exploited.
15'
Southampton now settling into the game, with both Redmond and Tadic starting to look dangerous.
12'
Tadic now with a left-footed shot at the other end that is drilled low from the centre of the penalty area, but blocked by Mee.
11'
STAT: No Premier League ground has seen less goals on average than Turf Moor, which has seen just 2.2. Worrying for those who were hoping for a goal fest this afternoon.
10'
Lennon fires in a right-footed volley from the edge of the penalty area for Burnley, which is comfortably saved by Southampton's McCarthy at his feet.
9'
Redmond, back in the side for Southampton today, will want to impress but his searching ball across the field heads into touch and it concedes possession for the Saints in what was becoming a decent move.
7'
Southampton have the first corner of the game but they can't create anything from it, as Long clears the ball away.
5'
Burnley get the first sight of goal as Ward surges forward and lifts a cross into the middle where Gudmundsson heads wide of the mark.
3'
The Clarets are knocking the ball around well in the opening few minutes but we await the game's real opening.
1'
KICK OFF! We're underway at Turf Moor, where the hosts get us started.
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Burnley and Southampton, a crucial game for both sides as they look to rediscover their form after difficult outings recently.
Burnley were the talking point of the Premier League during the first half of the season as they stormed into the top-half of the table, secured huge results against big sides and even had some corners of Lancashire dreaming about possible involvement in European football. However, the Clarets have now failed to win any of their last ten matches in the league.
Following Leicester's 1-1 draw with Stoke City in the early kick-off, Burnley can move back into seventh with a positive result today. Southampton are just a single point from safety and could rise as high as as 13th with a win.
Burnley XI: Nick Pope; Matthew Lowton, Ben Mee, Kevin Long, Stephen Ward; Aaron Lennon, Jack Cork, Ashley Westwood, Johann Berg Gudmundsson; Jeff Hendrick; Ashley Barnes.
Southampton XI: Alex McCarthy; Cedric Soares, Wesley Hoedt, Jack Stephens, Ryan Bertrand; Oriol Romeu, Mario Lemina; James Ward-Prowse, Dusan Tadic, Nathan Redmond; Guido Carrillo.
Burnley subs: Anders Lindegaard, Dean Marney, Sam Vokes, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Chris Wood, Charlie Taylor, Phil Bardsley.
Southampton subs: Fraser Forster, Manolo Gabbiadini, Sofiane Boufal, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Josh Sims, Jan Bednarek, Jeremy Pied.
Burnley make two changes to the side that last 1-0 to Swansea two weeks ago, bringing in Westwood and Ward. Taylor and Vokes drop to the bench, with Sean Dyche opting to play a lone striker this afternoon in Barnes.
Southampton make just a single change to the side that lost 2-0 to Liverpool last time out in the Premier League, with Hojbjerg dropping to the bench and being replaced by Redmond. January signing Carrillo leads the line, supported by an attacking midfield trio consisting of the aforementioned Redmond, Tadic and Ward-Prowse.
Southampton, on the other hand, have been sucked into the fierce relegation battle in the bottom half of the table. The Saints have lacked consistency this season and have won none of their 15 matches against sides in the top half of the standings this season, with Mauricio Pellegrino's side now finding themselves in the bottom three.
HALF TIME! Nothing comes from that corner and Burnley head to the break having enjoyed the lion's share of possession but haven't really tested McCarthy in the Southampton sticks so far. It's been a game with few chances and hopefully things will improve after the interval.
As mentioned, Burnley have dominated the proceedings but they've lacked a cutting edge in the final third. Barnes, leading the line on his own, hasn't seen enough of the ball but the Clarets have found some space in the wider areas. However, they need to do more if they're to end their 10 game winless run.
Southampton will be incredibly disappointed by their first half performance as they've only managed to create one decent opportunity, where Tadic saw a shot blocked inside the six-yard box by Mee. Since then, the Saints have struggled to retain possession and have been very poor with the ball, which Pellegrino is sure to what to improve in the second half.
FULL TIME! Southampton's late surge has seen them snatch a crucial point from the brink of what would have been a damaging defeat and it's enough to lift the Saints out of the relegation zone, above Swansea and Crystal Palace- the latter of whom play tomorrow. Burnley looked to have done enough but in the end neither side truly deserved to emerge victorious.
A real kick in the teeth for Burnley, who were just minutes away from ending their torrid run. They've now gone 11 games in the Premier League without tasting victory and their form is even worse when you add in the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester City. They'll look to bounce back next weekend against Everton, who they host at Turf Moor.
Southampton were poor throughout and struggled to create threatening opportunities but the introduction of Josh Sims off the bench provided an uplight, with the midfielder's contribution to the equalising goal being huge. A point is enough to raise the Saints out of the Premier League's relegation zone but only on goal difference, so there's more work to do next weekend against fellow strugglers Stoke.
