One last throw of the dice for Valencia to find a late leveller - but Mina's header off a Parejo cross sails well over the crossbar and the referee blows for full-time!
90' +2
Another Barca free-kick, this time 25 yards out in centre-field after Messi is tripped by Gabriel. The Argentinian - as he has all game - will take it...
Messi steers it round the wall this time with a great curl; but Domenech is there to claim at the near-left post.
90' +1
Three added minutes of injury time as Barca get a free-kick from the corner, for Gaya leaning on Pique during a challenge outside the box.
90'
It's Mina who then sparks another counter-move for Valencia, and this one catches the Barcelona defence out of place; the substitute is only foiled by Ciillessen sliding out of his box to curl his foot around the ball and put it out for a corner.
89'
A neat Gabriel slide in his own box sparks a counter-attack for Valencia as they shift the ball down the right through Torres and Parejo, though it peters out with a misplaced pass for Mina.
87'
A Messi cross meets a Gaya header in defence that tips it wide and right to Roberto - though his follow-up is scuffed wide and Domenech pumps the ball clear for a moment.
85'
The small chance of a Valencia attack is snuffed out by a wayward Parejo pass in midfield and Coutinho tears off downfield, feeding the ball to Suarez who pushes an effort from 20 yards out on the right wide by the far post.
83'
Those early second-half sparks have mostly faded for Valencia now as Couthino, Paulinho and Alcacer circle around Suarez and Messi up front in a punishing five-man attack. They're holding on to the single-goal deficit by the skin of their teeth.
81'
Santi Mina enters the game and replaces Rodrigo.
Moreno is the final change for the visitors; Santi Mina takes his place on the pitch.
80'
A free-kick to Valencia in their box now as, from the new corner, Messi brings Domenech to ground.
Minute
Description
79'
A monster effort from Paco Alcacer! The substitute finds himself with the ball 23 yards out after Gabriel heads the corner away and he launches a rocket of a shot that physically bowls Domenech over as he manages to tip it over the crossbar.
78'
Corner to the hosts now as Messi's latest attempt takes a glance off Montoya and bounces out.
76'
Ferran Torres enters the game and replaces Carlos Soler.
A free-kick for a foul on Messi now, 25 yards out in centre-field from the Valencia goal. The visitors will make a change first...
Soler now departs for Valencia in their next change; Ferran Torres comes on and goes straight into the wall.
Messi gets the lift he wants but not the dip again; his effort clears the wall and the crossbar, landing on the netted roof of the goal.
75'
Suarez tries a neat flick-on in the box for Messi; Gabriel gets in the way again and clears as far as Coutinho 35 yards out.
73'
Paco Alcácer enters the game and replaces Andrés Iniesta.
Iniesta is the final change for Barca; he is replaced by Paco Alcacer.
72'
Coquelin from distance! The Valencia man catches the keeper napping and smashes a 30-yard effort from left of centre-field. He hits the top netting - but you've got to admire his chutzpah with that strike. One of the closest of the game for the visitors.
70'
Paulinho and Coutinho both have a nibble at a shot inside the Valencia box; Gabriel manages to steer the ball away both times before either can try a proper effort.
68'
Paulinho enters the game and replaces I. Rakitić.
A second Barca change; Paulinho is the one to replace Rakitic as the hosts look to shore up their lead.
67'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Messi.
Another impresive Messi assist, with the striker taking the ball as close to the line as he could before delivering the goods. A great touch.
Barca break the deadlock! It's Luis Suarez who finds the net, as Messi curls a tight cross from within the box across the face of goal from left to right - and at the far post, the Uruguayan heads home, with a glancing deflection off Gaya into the top-right corner. 1-0 to the hosts.
65'
Soler breaks down the edge of the right wing for Valencia and turns a neat curled pass into the box for Moreno; the striker arrives a second too late as Cillessen claims with time to spare.
63'
Messi's strike clears the wall but goes straight to Domenech who nevertheless punches it back into open play rather than claim in earnest.
62'
Free-kick to Barca, directly in front of goal some 22 yards out, as Messi goes down on the edge of the box. The Argentinian will take...
61'
Coutinho tries again with a sharp pass from the left across the face of the Valencia goal; Suarez can't take it in once more and Domenech punches away this time.
60'
Coutinho's first touch is good, but the magic finish of a play-through for Suarez eludes him as Domenech comes off his line to claim.
58'
Philippe Coutinho enters the game and replaces Aleix Vidal.
Vidal departs for Barca as the hosts look to change it up - and their new signing Philippe Coutinho arrives. Can he prove the key to breaking the deadlock?
Corner now to the visitors, in what is a vastly improved second-half showing going forward; Pique clears Vietto's attempted header with a frantic punt downfield.
56'
It's another half-chance for Valencia, with a through-ball from Coquelin aimed at Maksimovic; however, the latter is caught offside on the edge of the Barca box and the free-kick goes the way of the hosts.
54'
The striker sees his curled cross headed out by Gabriel and the subsequent corner is cleared by Montoya; Valencia breathe easily for another moment.
53'
Carlos Soler gets yellow.
Two yellow cards in two minutes as Soler is now booked, 20 yards out on the left of the Valencia box for a foul on Messi. It's the latter who will turn this free-kick in now...
52'
Shot from Moreno! The Valencia man gives his side a rare chance as he drills a low effort from 25 yards out on the right crossfield, forcing Cillessen to dive to the far left post to stop.
51'
L. Vietto gets yellow.
Vietto has got a booking now for a currently unclear reason; though given the gestures on the pitch from the referee, it may have been for backchat.
50'
A little bit more control in midfield for Valencia so far in this second half, and they earn a free-kick after a late challenge from Vidal on Parejo.
48'
Netting for Messi! The Barca man goes on a trademark run into the box, and squeezed out on the left, tries to turn his shot goalward, only finding the near-side instead.
46'
N. Maksimović enters the game and replaces Andreas Pereira.
A half-time change informed by injury too; Pereira is off after that wild tackle in the first half and Nemanja Maksimovic takes his place for Valencia.
We're back underway at Camp Nou and Suarez starts by cutting a path down the left channel and popping a chip shot off to try and get over Domenech; the keeper leaps and deals with the tame effort.
45'
One added minute as Valencia spark their best counter-attack of the game, playing wide on the right and then in-field as they approach the Barcelona box. Vietto shoots - and blows it well wide to the left. That'll be the last attack of the half - the referee blows for the break!
44'
Suarez concedes a foul now as he trips Vezo in pursuit of a Busquets through-ball heading into the Valencia box.
43'
Barca get their ninth corner of the night now, and again they play out around the box. Moreno is alert to the move and nips in to release Soler; his sidestep around Iniesta earns his side a throw-in just inside their own half.
41'
Close for Pique! The defender misses the ball with his head by inches and Domenech kneels to claim. Valencia hold firm once more.
40'
Andreas Pereira gets yellow.
Pereira himself is now booked, after a late, slow challenge brings Messi down. Both players flailed, but it's the hosts who get the free-kick. The striker to take, 20 yards out on the right...
38'
A golden chance for Suarez! The Barca man oversteps an Iniesta cross sent across the face of an empty goal after the midfielder had pulled Domenech to him. That should have been the lead, right there.
37'
Alba pokes another effort into the Valencia box from the left; it takes an instant rebound off Montoya and once more Barca fall back to midfield to regroup their attack.
35'
Sergi Roberto gets yellow.
What on earth was Roberto doing there?! The Barca man gets a yellow card for a wild, reckless high foot that catches Pereira in the upper thigh whilst challenging for the ball. The Valencia man is limping after that.
32'
As if to highlight that previous point, Messi is played a ball through on the left edge of the box; he opts to clip it wide to Suarez on his right, who had already fallen out of position; possession falls easily to the keeper.
31'
This game very much sits in favour of Barca after the first half-hour, yet Ernesto Valverde's men have not yet found the breakthrough. Their finishing is poor - and even if they score, it wouldn't be too much of an assumption to guess that their half-time team talk will be on improving that aspect.
29'
Pique curls a pass between three Valencia defenders to Messi on the edge of the box; the latter's shot takes a rebound off Coquelin and the hosts are forced to double-back and chase after the ball.
27'
At the third time of asking, Busquets gets a head to the corner, only for his effort to skim onto Suarez in an offside position. Free-kick to Valencia in their own box.
26'
It's a tame delivery from Rakitic but Barca earn a second - and then a third - corner as Vezo heads both out.
25'
Corner to Barca after a Messi through-ball aimed for Suarez is cleared out by Gaya.
24'
The hosts probe down their right wing with Roberto and Vidal, though Pereira proves to be too crafty to let them through out wide.
22'
Now a close chance for Messi himself, as Alba plays a flat pass in again. The striker tries to pull off some trickery with his feet - only for his fellow Barca man Vidal to get in the way and bundle it out for a goal-kick.
21'
Messi pokes a cross from the left in for Suarez; Gabriel heads it away with precision.
19'
Now Alba turns a flat cross in from the left edge of the Valencia box and an immediate deflection from Montoya sends the ball crossfield to Rakitic. He carves into the box and almost undoes Gabriel; but his eventual shot is skewed at close range and falls to Montoya again who clears.
17'
The tempo has slowed at Camp Nou, with the hosts looking rather relaxed now. Roberto takes his time trying to place a cross on the right and eventually pushes it out softly for a goal-kick.
15'
This time. Barca swing the ball into the box - but Domenech is able to clear with a punch and then seizes the follow-up from Vidal.
14'
Chance for Suarez, as the striker nearly connects with an Alba cross put low into the box from the left. Gabriel gets there first with a slide and pushes it out for a corner.
13'
Barcelona shut it down at the first man and Umtiti clears downfield with a neat run.
12'
Now a corner to the visitors as a long ball for Moreno is turned out by Alba.
11'
Free-kick to Valencia within their own half as Iniesta clatters Soler with a shoddy late challenge.
9'
Again, Barca play their corner back into the middle rather than the box, though this time Valencia are more alert and push their midfield back to halfway in defence.
8'
Iniesta clips a flat ball in from the left for Suarez on the edge of the box; he plays back inside himself to Messi who sees his control of the ball muscled away by Gabriel for a corner.
6'
That's more like it for Valencia; Soler counters down his right wing and plays a neat pass into the middle of the park for Vietto, catching the Barcelona defence out. Cillessen gets his first action of the game by darting out of his box to blast it away before the striker can reach it.
5'
One-way traffic in favour of Barcelona so far, as Valencia struggle to move the ball out of their own half through Soler out wide. Busquets sweeps in to pick his pocket and the hosts control the midfield once more.
3'
Rakitic again now, and this time his shot takes no hits as he curls it in between the defence from the right lip of the box. Domenech reads it great and scoops it up at the far left post to see off the danger.
2'
The hosts play it back out to midfield rather than curl it into the box and it gives Messi a chance to tee up an effort from 25 yards out on the left. The striker pushes it over the crossbar by some distance and holds his hand up in apology.

We're underway in this Copa del Rey semi-final! Barcelona press forward first, playing from left to right, and they earn an early corner after Gabriel deflects a Rakitic effort out on his back-left side.
Hello, and welcome to live coverage of this Copa del Rey semi-final first leg, as defending champions Barcelona host Valencia at Camp Nou. The Catalan side sit 17 points and two places above their opponents at the top of the Liga table - but against one of the few sides to take points off them this season, could Ernesto Valverde's men face a potential upset? Kick-off is on the way.
This is Barcelona's eighth consecutive appearance in a Copa del Rey semi-final - the longest such streak in the history of the competition.
Valencia haven't had the best of form at this stage in recent times; they've been knocked out in their last two Copa del Rey semi-finals. The last time they progressed was when they triumphed against Barcelona in 2008 (1-1 at Camp Nou in the first leg and 3-2 on home turf in the second).
Five players between the two clubs have netted four goals across the competition so far: two for Barcelona (Jose Arnaiz and Lionel Messi) and three for Valencia (Santi Mina, Rodrigo and Luciano Vietto).
If Barcelona progress to and subsequently win the Copa del Rey this year, it will be their 30th title, extending their rule as the competition's most successful club. Conversely, Valencia's victory here and in the second leg would put them in their first final for a decade - and give them a chance for an eighth title overall.
The teams are out at Camp Nou and we're moments away from kick-off...
It's been a frustrating 45 minutes of football for the hosts so far; with 80 percent possession and nine corners, they have only mustered six chances, none of them clear-cut. Valencia may have only controlled the ball for around nine minutes of this match - but they remain right in it at the break. Half-time at Camp Nou, it's Barcelona 0-0 Valencia.
Were it not for a near-brilliant showcase in keeping at the back from Domenech and an inability to finish at various points, Barcelona could have run out winners by several scores in this game. As it is, they will take a lead into the second leg after Luis Suarez headed home a great Lionel Messi cross on 67 minutes to give them the win. Valencia might take that given their showing; at full-time, it finishes Barcelona 1-0 Valencia.
No easy rest for Valencia; they tangle with Atletico Madrid this weekend in LaLiga, whilst Barcelona face off against Espanyol, who they lead by 33 points. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good week!
