Almost deja vu for Leicester! Albrighton swings a cross into the middle where Maguire is looking to head home but Gomes snatches the ball superbly. That should be that!
90' +2
Corner for Watford after they hit on the break and that is exactly what Watford want. They can get settled defensively and waste time by keeping it in the corner.
90' +1
Three minutes added on at Vicarage Road, Leicester are doing everything they can to snatch an equaliser.
90'
J. Sinclair enters the game and replaces A. Carrillo.
Time is ticking down for Leicester. With Burnley holding onto a narrow lead against Manchester United, this could be a huge blow to their European hopes.
Final change for Watford sees Jerome Sinclair introduced for Andre Carrillo, who deserves his rest after a superb performance.
88'
M. Zeegelaar gets yellow.
Zeegelarr shows his skills but the referee isn't a fan, as the ball was out of play and he was wasting time.
87'
S. Prödl enters the game and replaces B. Watson.
Second change for Watford. Watson exits the field, with Sebastian Prodl introduced to shore up the defence for the dying moments.
85'
DOUBLE SAVE! Brilliant from Gomes! Leicester banging on the door through back-to-back corners, with the experienced stopper preventing Morgan from an equaliser before diving low to palm away Ulloa's header.
84'
L. Ulloa enters the game and replaces A. King.
If Leicester received a kitchen sink this Christmas, now is the time to use it. The Foxes are throwing everything at their disposal forward in an attempt to salvage something from the game.
The kitchen sink has a name! Ulloa's introduction means Leicester are going all out in their assault, with King sacrificed.
82'
Almost the moment to kill the game! Cleverley picks the pocket of Chilwell and surges through on goal, then striking a low effort towards the far post. Unfortunately, it was wide of the mark.
81'
A. King gets yellow.
Ten minutes for Leicester to salvage something and Mahrez looks to be the most likely avenue for an equaliser. He cannot do it all on his own though and he's not being offered any support.
After the flurry of bookings early on, we had a long wait for another. We've now got another booking though, with Andy King entering the book.
Minute
Description
79'
Barring Okazaki's header in the first-half, I don't remember Gomes having a save to make. He's had a very boring time in the second-half, that's for sure.
77'
Both sides have found plenty of joy down the left-hand side today and Gray, on as a substitute, faces an impossible task keeping Richarlison and Zeegelaar quiet.
75'
Leicester haven't really created anything since the break and have found it extremely difficult to quell Watford's movement on the ball. If there is an equaliser in this game, it's not obvious where that goal would come from.
73'
I. Slimani enters the game and replaces S. Okazaki.
D. Gray enters the game and replaces A. Dragović.
Peul must be following my commentary here, Leicester are about to make a double change.
There's reportedly a lot of potential suitors for Islam Slimani in January and he has a chance to make an impression here, replacing Okazaki.
A clear statement of attacking intent for Leicester, as Demarai Gray comes on to replace Dragovic.
71'
Very flat performance for Leicester in this second-half and it's staggering that Claude Peul is yet to make a change. I mentioned it earlier in this period, there seems to be no midfield for the Foxes and it means that there isn't a link between the defence and the attack.
70'
TV replays are showing us the goal line decision system but there was no need for it. It's like asking if you want more pigs in blankets, the answer is yes- and it was clear the ball was over the line there.
69'
Watford fully deserve their lead and they've done brilliantly since falling behind to Mahrez's opening goal. Marco Silva's decision to bring on Stefano Okaka late in the first-half has made it's mark but there's a number of top performers for the Hornets this evening- which is exactly what they need as they look to get their campaign back on track.
67'
Brilliant from Doucoure to keep it alive and credit where it's due for Cleverley, who continues to cause problems with his set pieces. It's poor marking from Dragovic, who is having a Premier League debut to forget, and it's also not a good watch for Schmeichel on his 250th appearance in the top-flight.
65'
K. Schmeichel is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOAL! How on earth did that go in! Cleverley's set-piece again causes the issues, as a free-kick is fired towards the back post. It seems to be an impossible angle for Doucoure but he directs a volley goalwards and Schmeichel cannot deal with it. His touch sends it over the line and the Danish stopper won't want to see that one again.
63'
Big call from referee Chris Kavanagh but it's the right one. Dragovic, already booked, blocks off Richarlison and concedes a free-kick. No further action though, despite the shouts from the home faithful, and the set-piece is wasted.
62'
Into the final half hour and it's a difficult game to call. Watford continue to move the ball around well but they're comitting numbers in attack and are exposed on the counter, where Leicester thrive.
60'
Crucial intervention from Watson. Mahrez surges forward again and feeds through Albrighton. He elects to play across goal rather than try an attempt of his own but the Watford midfielder is there to step in before Vardy has an easy finish.
58'
Ohhhh! Mahrez and Vardy continue to be the starring duo for Leicester! The former plays another inviting ball into the middle where Vardy is lurking but it's a few steps ahead of the striker, with Gomes quick to pounce on the ball.
57'
Doucoure blasts over the bar. Watford continue to move the ball around well, with Carrillo and Cleverley both looking extremely sharp.
55'
Richarlison has shown flashes of his true form today but he still awaits the goal that will end his drought. Moving from South America to England brings a number of challenges though, not least of which is the absence of a winter break.
53'
There's a big gap between Leicester's defence and attack but their forward line is moving around very well. Both Mahrez and Ndidi see attempts from distance blocked, as Watford's defence quells the latest threat.
51'
Watford look like a completely different team to the side I watched against Brighton and there is big differences from the way they started the game. It's a scrappy affair at the moment but the tide of the game has shifted, with the hosts looking the better of the two teams.
49'
Leicester slow to start but with Mahrez and Vardy in the side, you're always in with a chance. The Algerian lofts a ball over the top to the striker, who's first touch is uncharacteristically poor. They do win a corner but it comes to nothing.
47'
Watford start on the front foot and are moving the ball around well. Carrillo continues to impress and Richarlison has looked better since moving over to the left. With Okaka now central, the Hornets look to have an attacking line that's capable of performing.
45' +2
Three additional minutes at the end of the first-half. Both team talks are likely to be extremely different now.
OFF THE POST! Watford inches away from a superb turnaround! Brilliant attacking move from the Hornets, with Carrillo again pivotal, and Richarlison has plenty of room to work with on the left. Cleverley dinks the ball over to him and he smashes an effort goalwards, only to see it bounce off the frame of the goal.
45'
M. Wagué has scored a goal for Watford!
You can understand that change, as Okaka will provide more of a presence centrally and it will likely lead to Richarlison moving out wide, but the timing is somewhat bizarre.
GOAL! Watford have an equaliser! Cleverley's delivery causes all sorts of issues and it's an easy finish for Wague. In his first Premier League start, against the side where he struggled on-loan last season, he's scored a vital goal for the Hornets!
Back underway at Vicarage Road, where Watford now kick to the left. A big 45 minutes ahead for the Hornets, as they seek to avoid going seven matches without a win.
44'
S. Okaka enters the game and replaces R. Pereyra.
Well, this is bold from Marco Silva. Watford are making their first change and it's before the interval. No signs of an injury, it seems to be tactical, with Okaka replacing Pereyra.
43'
Leicester win a free-kick out of nothing but there's far too much on that, an absolute waste by Albrighton.
41'
Watford will struggle to get a better opportunity than that. I hate to be that guy but Troy Deeney would have buried that chance!
40'
MISS! Oh Richarlison! Carrillo, Watford's best player today, does superbly and feeds through the Brazilian. He rounds Schmeichel, when he should have perhaps shot first time, and smashes the ball into the side netting. Seven games without a goal and he'll struggle to find a better opportunity than that.
39'
Woeful time for Watford to concede, as they'd just started to get into the game.
37'
R. Mahrez has scored a goal for Leicester City! Assist by M. Albrighton.
GOAL! Fabulous move from Leicester! Okazaki holds up the ball before feeding Albrighton down the line, who cuts back and curls a cross to the back post. Mahrez has all the room in the world to head home, his sixth of the season!
Albrighton's cross was spectacular but Watford will have questions asked of their defence, there was far too much room for Mahrez.
36'
CHANCE! Mahrez's corner is dangerous but neither Morgan or Maguire can get a decisive touch on the ball. Gomes, like Schmeichel at the other end, is yet to make a save.
35'
The positive for Watford is that this is the best performance I've seen from Peruvian winger Carrillo. He's kept Leicester on their toes and the battle he's having with Chilwell down the left is good to watch.
34'
Watford don't look threatening at all centrally. Record-signing Andre Gray failed to fill the Deeney-shaped void at the weekend and Richarlison hasn't look any better in the opening third of this game.
32'
What can Leicester do from a dead ball situation? It's a similar area to Cleverley's two opportunities at the other end but Albrighton doesn't create anything of note.
31'
Cleverley to deliver the latest free-kick, which is in the same sort of position as before. Leicester hold firm yet again and look the threaten on the counter, where Chilwell wins a free-kick after being fouled.
30'
A. Dragović gets yellow.
Another free-kick for Watford and another booking. Dragovic pulls Pereyra to the ground and it's another easy decision for the referee.
29'
Now a free-kick in a decent area for the Hornets, as Morgan fouls Cleverley. It's outside of shooting range so Cleverley instead clips a ball into the area, where Doucoure sees an effort deflected behind off Maguire's back for a corner.
27'
Corner for Watford, who are enjoying their best passage on the ball. Cleverley's delivery is poor though and it's easily cleared away at the near post.
25'
MISS! Oh my word, you'd put your house on Vardy scoring there! He's unleashed by an inviting through ball but his finish is poor, clipping a shot over Gomes and seeing it bounce wide of the target.
23'
Both sides continue to show threat due to their pace in attack but it's still Leicester who look the most dangerous. Schmeichel, making his 250th Premier League appearance, is yet to be called into action.
21'
Break in proceedings here as Albrighton gets patched up after taking a blow to the head, which occured in the build-up to that Watford chance. He had actually committed a foul but the referee did well to play the advantage.
20'
Watford show signs of life! It's the Hornets' turn to threaten down the left, as Carrillo does excellently to beat his man and play a low ball into the area. Richarlison is lurking but the young South American cannot find a finish, having been put under a lot of pressure by the Leicester defence.
18'
SAVE! And now Leicester have their first chance! Chilwell is making everything happen down the left side and his cross into the area is inviting for Okazaki, who has a knack of heading home despite his short stature, and only a smart save from Gomes prevents the opening goal.
16'
OFFSIDE! First signs of the Leicester counter attack, as Chilwell bursts down the left. He cuts back and crosses to the far post, where Mahrez has found space, but the flag is correctly raised.
15'
The big concern for Watford is the yellow card that Kabasele is carrying considering he's up against two very good strikers in Okazaki and Vardy. They both possess a lot of pace, so the Hornets defender is in for a very challenging match.
13'
C. Kabasele gets yellow.
Well, it's a very physical game. Kabasele becomes the third player to be booked here and we've only played 13 minutes!
That's Kabasele, Watson and Harry Maguire all walking a very fine line for the duration of this match. No room for mistakes, which could work in the favour of the attacking players.
12'
I watched Watford in the defeat to Brighton and the concern is their attacking line never really got going. So far it's more of the same for Marco Silva's side, which is worrying due to Troy Deeney's continued absence through suspension.
10'
Leicester are starting to settle into the game and currently look the better side, which is pretty much as you'd expect. Richarlison is putting their defensive line under pressure though and the 20-year-old Brazilian looks sharp.
8'
B. Watson gets yellow.
Watford's turn to earn an early yellow card, with Watson picking up a booking after catching Albrighton late. Spot on from the referee Chris Kavanagh again!
6'
Kabasele and Wague will face a difficult afternoon up against Vardy and Okazaki, though Wague may have an insight. He spent the year on-loan with Leicester last year but failed to make a single Premier League appearance, seeing his campaign cut short after suffering a dislocated shoulder in an FA Cup clash.
4'
H. Maguire gets yellow.
Poor challenge from Maguire, who earns a yellow card early on for a late challenge. He'll play over an hour on a fine line, which Watford may look to exploit.
3'
Vardy, who scored his 50th Premier League goal in the weekend's draw with Manchester United, has started well here and has shown his deadly pace down the left. It's a fairly even start to the game, with both sides having threatening attacking lines.
1'
KICK-OFF! We're underway at Vicarage Road, where Watford get us started and kick to the right in the first-half.
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Watford and Leicester City. I'm sure you're all full of turkey and feeling the after effects of the festive season, so sit down and relax for what will hopefully be a treat of football at Vicarage Road.
It's certainly not a Merry Christmas for Watford fans, who have seen their side slide down the Premier League standings after a run of six games without a win. Defeat to Brighton at the weekend has left them anxiously looking over their shoulders towards the relegation zone and a huge upturn in form is needed.
Leicester, meanwhile, will be feeling very cheery as Claude Peul has brought plenty of festive cheer to the Foxes since taking charge. His side have won three of their last five matches, moving away from the relegation battle and intro the top-half of the standings. Five points behind Burnley in seventh and one ahead of Everton, a fight for Europa League football could be on the cards in 2018.
Watford XI: Heurelho Gomes; Daryl Janmaat, Molla Wague, Christian Kabasele, Marvin Zeegelaar; Tom Cleverley, Ben Watson, Abdoulaye Doucoure; Andre Carrillo, Richarlison, Roberto Pereyra.
Leicester XI: Kasper Schmeichel; Aleksandar Dragovic, Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan, Ben Chilwell; Riyad Mahrez, Andy King, Marc Albrighton, Wilfred Ndidi; Shinji Okazaki, Jamie Vardy.
Watford subs: Daniel Bachmann, Jerome Sinclair, Sebastian Prodl, Jose Holebas, Etienne Capoue, Andre Gray, Stefano Okaka.
Leicester subs: Ben Hamer, Matty James, Islam Slimani, Demarai Gray, Yohan Benalouane, Christian Fuchs, Leonardo Ulloa.
Watford make three changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Brighton at the weekend, with Prodl, Holebas and Gray dropping to the bench. They're replaced in the line-up by Zeegelaar, Wague and Doucoure, with the Hornets switching to a 4-3-3. Richarlison will therefore lead the line, as the hosts remain without skipper Troy Deeney.
Leicester also make changes to their line-up for this game, four in total, with two enforced due to the injury absences of Danny Simpson and Robert Huth. Their spots in the defence are taken by Chilwell and Dragovic, with King and Okazaki also coming into the side. Vicente Iborra and Gray therefore drop out, with the latter on the bench.
Both sides will see this game as winnable and it's certainly an important match for Watford, as another defeat could see the gap between them and the drop zone narrow down even more. As for Leicester, they'll want to take advantage of today's fixtures as Burnley, currently ahead of them, are away to Manchester United.
And breathe! Superb end to the first-half, after what was a fairly quiet match. Riyad Mahrez looked to have Leicester in control after he headed home but Watford finally started to show signs of life towards the end of the half. Molla Wague got the equaliser before Richarlison struck the post late on. All to play for at Vicarage Road!
Watford have struggled without Troy Deeney leading their line and continued to find the same problems here. Marco Silva elected to bring on Okaka late on and it already seems to have made the difference, with the striker playing a huge part in that Richalison chance. The Hornets seem to have found their buzz again and a big 45 minutes lie ahead.
Leicester have looked dangerous on the counter and down the left, which was the area where they created the opening goal from. Vardy missed a huge chance, which could now prove to be decisive, but they'll fancy their chances against a Watford defence that has left far too many spaces for the Foxes to exploit.
Key for Watford is to start the second-half in the same fashion as they finished the first. It was a superb upturn in form, after what had been another drab showing.
FULL-TIME! Watford's winless run comes to an end as Marco Silva's side come from behind to take all three points. Riyad Mahrez had opened the scoring but the Hornets responded valiantly, with loanee Molla Wague equalising shortly before the break. The hosts looked the better side after the restart and got their reward after Doucoure's volley was turned into his own net by Kasper Schmeichel.
A very big three points for Watford and, perhaps even more crucially, they have players who can hold their heads high after that performance. Andre Carrillo, Tom Cleveley and Heurelho Gomes were brilliant, which will provide a boost. They'll look to take that form with them into their final game of 2017, which sees them travel to face relegation threatened Swansea.
It's a huge disappointment for Leicester, who looked the strongest of the two sides for the majority of the first-half. The game soon changed when Watford equalised though and the Foxes were woeful in the attacking third after the restart. With Liverpool up next this weekend, Leicester need a quick improvement.
