West Ham are really putting pressure on this Newcastle defence now, throwing players forward and putting plenty of balls into the box for Carroll to get on the end of. There is still plenty of time left here.
69'
A. Ayew has scored a goal for West Ham United!
GOOOAAALLL! WEST HAM PULL ONE BACK! The Hammers have their second goal of the game and make it 3-2 here, all to play for! Cresswell chips a deep ball into the box, which is met by Carroll at the far post, he heads it down and forces Elliott into making a good save. However, the rebound falls straight to Ayew, he smashes it into the back of the net from just a couple of yards out, making amends for his penalty miss.
67'
C. Atsu gets yellow.
Christian Atsu picks up the first yellow card of the game, for a late challenge on Obiang.
66'
West Ham are trying to play more direct football now with Carroll on the pitch, missing out the midfield area, which is really lacking a creative force to pick out forward passes and open up this Magpies defence.
64'
The Newcastle supporters are loving what they are seeing from their side this afternoon, they are making a huge amount of noise, as their side look to end their winless run and move out of the relegation zone.
61'
C. Atsu has scored a goal for Newcastle United! Assist by Joselu.
Joselu sprinted up the pitch to help support Atsu, he made an overlapping run to draw away the West Ham defenders. He then receives the ball just inside the penalty area, looks up and spots Atsu making the run, squares it back to him and he makes no mistakes with the finish.
GOOOAAALLL! NEWCASTLE HAVE A THIRD! The Magpies break forward on the counter-attack and they are lethal, a terrific goal which all stemmed from a West Ham corner. Zabaleta gets into a bit of a mess on the half-way line, which hands it straight to Atsu. The Newcastle winger sprints forward, plays a short ball to Joselu who made an overlapping run, he then squares it straight back to Atsu in the box, who fires it past Adrian and into the back of the net.

Penalty saved by R. Elliot!
GREAT SAVE! Rob Elliot spares the blushes of Clark, with the penalty save to deny Ayew a goal. The keeper knew exactly what the Hammers striker was trying to do, the strike was nowhere near the corner of the net and Elliot got two strong hands to the ball and made the save.
PENALTY MISSED! Ayew steps up to take the penalty, he stutters in his run up, before firing a weak shot at goal which Elliot reads and makes a good save. Poor effort.
55'
PENALTY WEST HAM! The referee took his time awarded it, as the foul took place right on the edge of the area, the referee had to consult his linesman to see if it should be a free-kick or a penalty. Antonio went down under a challenge from Clark, it was certainly a foul, but it perhaps should just be a free-kick after watching the replay.
53'
M. Diamé has scored a goal for Newcastle United! Assist by C. Atsu.
Atsu the provider, showing great skill to beat Zabaleta, his pass is then perfectly placed to Diame, who fires the ball into the back of the net.
GOOOAAALLL! NEWCASTLE LEAD! Diame scores against his former club to hand the Magpies the lead. Atsu gets the ball on the left-wing, he nutmegs Zabaleta, cuts inside and squares the ball back to the sprinting Diame, who passes it into the back of the net. The former Hammers player doesn’t celebrate against his former side.
50'
CLOSE! Arnautovic cuts in from the right-wing, shifts it onto his left-foot and then fires a low shot at goal, which goes just inches wide of the Newcastle goal. The winger has been superb and looks a totally different player here now, after enduring a poor start to his Hammers career.
48'
STAT: West Ham have won their last two Premier League home games against Newcastle, having only beaten them once in the previous eight attempts in East London (W1, D3, L4).

42'
Both teams pressing hard for a second goal to take the lead into the break. Newcastle with the best chances, they are getting into some great positions on the pitch. Meanwhile West Ham, enjoy more possession but appear to be lacking a quality ball playing midfielder, to link up the play.
39'
ANOTHER NEWCASTLE CHANCE! Once again it is Gayle with the opportunity and he really should've done better! It was a terrific counter-attack by Newcastle, started by Yedlin, he races up the pitch, lays it off to Richie deep down the right-wing, he plays a first-time pass to Gayle on the edge of the penalty area. The striker runs onto it and fires his shot of the bar, he certainly should've got the shot on target and forced Adrian to make a save.
37'
Elliot almost hands a goalscoring chance to West Ham, the Magpies keeper appears to gather a cross easily and relieve the danger, but he drops it and luckily it falls to a Newcastle player who smashes the ball away. A poor error from a routine catch.
35'
CHANCE WEST HAM! Antonio once again rises highest inside the Newcastle penalty area, he gets his head onto the end of a good Arnautovic cross. The striker is onside and tries to guide his header into the corner of the net, but he doesn't get enough on it and it goes well wide in the end. However, you can see from Antonio's reaction that he should've done better there.
34'
OFF THE POST! Richie cuts inside, receiving a good pass by Gayle and he fires a curling strike at goal, it looks to be sneaking into the corner of the net, but he doesn't have enough on it and it strikes the post instead. Excellent chance.
32'
West Ham are the side showing more intent going forward at the moment, with Arnautovic constantly trying to beat the high Newcastle backline with quick runs, with good passes being played by the likes of Andre Ayew and Antonio. However, his most recent run in behind is good movement, but he goes too early and is caught offside.
30'
As we go past the half an hour mark here at the London Stadium, the scoreline remains level and the quality of play has started to decrease, after the fast start to the game, becoming more scrappy.
28'
STAT: David Moyes is unbeaten in three successive Premier League fixtures for the first time since a four-match run in March 2014, when he was at Manchester United. West Ham have the chance to win consecutive league matches for the first time since January.
26'
Decent chance for West Ham. Michail Antonio finds space in the penalty area as a corner is whipped into the box. The striker loses his marker and gets on the end of the set piece but he can't keep his header down and it flies over the crossbar.
24'
We have a brief break in play here after a clash of heads between Joselu and Cheikhou Kouyate. It looks like the Newcastle man has come worse off, both are receiving treatment and look fine to continue here.
22'
Yedlin and Matt Richie are linking up well down the right-wing here, with much of their best play coming through those two players down that wing. Not too many chances for either side here, apart from the goals and the Gayle chance for Newcastle.
20'
Newcastle are without a win in nine Premier League games, they could lose five in a row for the first time since an eight-match streak in May 2015. They are in danger of spending Christmas Day in the Premier League relegation zone for the first time.
17'
OFF THE BAR! Dwight Gayle with a superb chance to hand Newcastle the lead, his effort from close-range smashes against the bar after an excellent move by the Magpies. DeAndre Yedlin's low cross is met by Gayle at the near post, he tries to sidefoot it into the net, but it keeps on rising and hits the bar, with Adrian having no chance of saving that effort.
16'
The pace of the game has dropped back to normal now with the score level, after a frantic opening period of the game. Newcastle are seeing more of the ball at the moment, keeping the West Ham full-backs penned back and defending so they have five at the back.
15'
Rafa Benitez is unbeaten in his last nine Premier League games against David Moyes, winning seven and drawing two. He also won 10 of his 13 Premier League matches against West Ham, with his two defeats both coming in away fixtures.
13'
That equalising goal has certainly given the traveling supporters plenty to shout about, they are now in superb voice after seeing a terrible start to the game for their team. The Magpies look strong overall now, confidence flowing and they look dangerous in attack.
10'
H. Saivet has scored a goal for Newcastle United!
Newcastle with a with a free-kick in a decent position, perfect for a long-range strike at goal. Saviet is the man standing over the ball, can he make up for his mistake for the West Ham goal...
GOOOAAALLL! NEWCASTLE EQUALISE! Saviet scores direct from the free-kick to make the score level once again. The midfielder has made up for his error straight away, he fires the ball into the back of the net from around 30 yards out, he gets it over the wall and into the bottom corner. Adrian was slow to get across to that, it looks like he should’ve done better.

M. Arnautović has scored a goal for West Ham United!
GOOOAAALLL! WEST HAM LEAD! A fantastic start for the Hammers, the have taken an early lead here. Newcastle lost the ball in the middle of the pitch, after a sloppy pass from Henri Saivet. Marko Arnautovic takes advantage, he sprints up the pitch, using his pace to beat Ciaran Clark and races through on goal. He then just has Rob Elliot to beat and he shows great composure to slide it into the back of the net. Excellent finish and start for the home side.
4'
West Ham enjoying more of the early possession here, but mainly in the middle of the pitch and apart from their opening minute or two of pressure in attack, they haven't manage to put pressure on it the Newcastle final third.
2'
Good start by the Hammers, they go on the front foot straight away and win a corner early on. The ball whipped into the box is excellent by Aaron Cresswell but the referee awards Newcastle a free-kick after Angelo Ogbonna tussles with Jamaal Lascelles.

The Newcastle man made up for his mistake almost straight away with a free-kick to level the game on 10 minutes. Newcastle have hit the woodwork twice in the first-half, with Richie and Gayle going agonisingly close. The Hammers have had a couple of good chances as well, but it remains 1-1 and all to play for.

Newcastle have their first victory in ten Premier League games with a hard fought win over West Ham. Their first since October 21 and it lifts them out of the relegation zone as we reach the halfway stage in the Premier League. Second half goals coming from Mo Diame and Christian Atsu, before Ayew missed a penalty and then scored to make it 3-2.
