It goes from bad to worse for Milan as Suso, after kicking the ball at an injured Verona player, receives a straight red card.
87'
CLOSE! Two chances in quick succession for Milan. First, Nicolas tips over from Bonucci’s flick before - from the resulting corner - Cutrone heads just wide.
85'
F. Zuculini enters the game and replaces D. Bessa.
A final change now for the hosts. Daniel Bessa - who came on himself as a first-half substitute - is withdrawn. Franco Zuculini is his replacement.
84'
WAY OVER! The ball falls to Bonucci on the edge of Verona’s area, but he gets his volley horribly wrong, and the ball sails into row Z - and possibly beyond! That rather sums up Milan’s day.
82'
As good as Verona have been, Milan have been incredibly poor, and on the evidence presented today, their recent run of results has been nothing but a false dawn for a side that look nowhere close to securing a top-four finish.
80'
What an interception by Caceres, who does brilliantly to deny Silva getting on the end of Bonaventura’s cross.
77'
D. Bessa has scored a goal for Verona! Assist by Rômulo.
Romulo has been in inspired form today, and he carved open Milan’s defence with ease. Worrying times for Gattuso, who has seen his side well and truly thumped by a side that had just two wins prior to today.
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!! VERONA MAKE IT 3-0! Outstanding play from the hosts, who have almost certainly capped off a superb performance with a brilliant goal! Romulo charged down the right before sliding a perfect cut-back into the path of substitute Bessa, who duly tucks home.
76'
Gattuso's changes have, so far, failed to have an impact on this game. Cutrone and Silva, in particular, have hardly managed to get on the ball in the final third.
73'
CLOSE! Kessie - who has been impressive for Milan in midfield today - again gets a shot off from close range, but it is deflected wide. Bonucci wins the header from the resulting corner, but can only direct his effort wide.
72'
M. Locatelli enters the game and replaces R. Montolivo.
And here is that substitution. Veteran Riccardo Montolivo makes way, with youngster Manuel Locatelli coming on.
Minute
Description
71'
Verona are first to everything at the moment and in all truth Milan look quite devoid of ideas as Gattuso prepares his third and final change.
69'
Shouts of handball now from Milan’s players, who are convinced that Kean handled in Verona’s area. The referee, however, immediately dismisses the appeals.
67'
Verona are now getting on to the front foot, with Milan pressed back in to their own half. The hosts win a rare corner, but can’t manage to make anything of it this time.
64'
Nícolas gets yellow.
Kean’s pace and tenacity up top is giving Verona a real threat on the counter, while the hosts’ defence and midfield are setting up in two solid blocks. Kessie tries his luck with a first-time strike from 25 yards out, but it curls away from goal.
A booking now fro Nicolas, for time wasting.
62'
Nothing is clicking for Milan so far, with too many of the visiting players operating as passengers in this match. Bonaventura, Suso and Cutrone have all struggled to get on the ball and Verona, in all truth, look comfortable.
59'
M. Büchel gets yellow.
Verona's Marcel Buchel goes into the book for a cynical foul.
57'
André Silva enters the game and replaces N. Kalinić.
Gattuso reacts to Verona's goal with his second substitution - Nikola Kalinic replaced by Andre Silva.
55'
M. Kean has scored a goal for Verona! Assist by D. Bessa.
GOOOAAAALLL!! VERONA GO 2-0 UP! And it is Juventus loanee Kean who has got it. Verona countered at pace - Bessa working his way down the left before driving in a low cross and Kean was on hand to sweep home into the bottom corner.
What a moment for the 17-year-old Kean, who nets just his second league goal for Verona. But the credit has to go to Bessa, who picked out the youngster with a great cross.
52'
This has been a great display from Verona so far, and they are really frustrating Milan with some solid defending. Borini tries to create something with a whipped-in cross, but the former Liverpool man overhits his delivery and the ball rolls harmlessly out of play.
49'
A. Romagnoli gets yellow.
A booking for Romagnoli, and the Milan defender may well consider himself lucky. The Verona players are furious that the referee has not sent the youngster off, after the former Roma man had scythed down Kean, who looked to have a clear path to goal.
47'
Well, no change in shape for Milan. It appears that Borini will play in the left-back role, while Cutrone will take up a position further forward. As I write, Suso tries his luck from range, but his strike is well wide of the target.
46'
P. Cutrone enters the game and replaces R. Rodríguez.
A change for Milan at the break sees Ricardo Rodriguez make way for Patrick Cutrone. That would suggest a change in shape for the visitors...
CLOSE! Almost an equaliser straight from the off! Kalinic reacts quickly to latch on to a loose ball in Verona's area. His strike is blocked, but the deflection spins wickedly, and Nicolas can only watch on as the ball trickles wide of the upright.
45' +3
F. Borini gets yellow.
Well, a prolonged pause in play follows that injury for Ferrari. The referee consults the VAR system, though it is not clear why, before making his way back onto the pitch and brandishing a yellow card to Borini. One can only assume it is for the collision with Ferrari.
45' +2
There will be a minimum of three minutes stoppage time at the end of the first half. There could well be more, in fact, with Ferrari down. Pecchia will hope it is nothing serious, having already used two of his changes.
44'
Milan have just managed to get more of a foothold in proceedings now, with Verona failing to keep hold of the ball for any prolonged amount of time. Half time is fast approaching, though...
42'
SAVE! Suso gets his free-kick up and over the wall, dipping towards the bottom-left corner. Nicolas, though, reacts quickly to parry it out - Verona's defence recovering before Kalinic can follow up on the rebound.
40'
Reckless from Zuculini, who hauls down Romagnoli at a Verona corner, wasting a good chance for the hosts to relieve some pressure. Milan race up the other end, and win a free-kick 25 yards out…
37'
CHANCE! How has that not gone in!? Superb last-ditch defending from Verona, as Nicolas pulls off an outstanding save to deny Suso. Kessie can’t quite get to the rebound, but the ball falls back to Suso. He looks all set to tuck home, only for Heurtaux to lunge across and make a vital block.
35'
B. Zuculini gets yellow.
Yellow card Bruno Zuculini
34'
Poor from Caceres! Verona have Milan on the ropes at the moment, and a looping cross from the right provides Caceres with an opportunity to double their lead. However, the defender can’t make a solid contact with his attempted header, and Donnarumma is not tested.
32'
M. Kean enters the game and replaces A. Cerci.
Indeed, Cerci’s game is over. He limps off, with Verona forced into their second change already. Moise Kean - the Juventus loanee - comes on to lead the line.
30'
A problem now for Cerci, whose game would appear to be over after he went down clutching his left hamstring. It does not look good for the ex-Milan forward but, while he receives treatment on the sidelines, the game continues.
29'
Milan have a real fight on their hands now, with that goal having injected some belief into Verona’s team and home fans, who are in fine voice. Kessie’s chance is the visitors’ only real opening so far.
26'
CHANCE! That’s a fine save from Nicolas, who gets down sharply to prevent Kessie immediately restoring parity.
24'
A. Caracciolo has scored a goal for Verona! Assist by Rômulo.
GOAL! VERONA TAKE THE LEAD! What a header from Caracciolo, who rises highest to meet Romulo’s brilliant corner and thump a powerful header in off the underside of the bar.
It was a wonderful cross from Romulo, who delivered the corner with pace right into Caracciolo's path.
22'
D. Bessa enters the game and replaces M. Valoti.
An early substitution now for Verona. Mattia Valoti is unable to continue after picking up a knock, so makes way for Daniel Bessa.
20'
Milan are really applying the pressure now, but still there are no signs of an opening in Verona’s defence. Rodriguez tries to create one with an early cross, but despite a slight breakdown in communication with one of his defenders, Nicolas is able to smother the ball at the second attempt.
17'
More good goalkeeping from Nicolas, who lunges out to tip Calabria’s cross away from danger.
15'
Good play from Bonaventura on the edge of his own area sets Milan away, with Kalinic leading a counter-attack. He eventually feeds Suso, who in turn slips a pass through to Kessie. The midfielder finds his path blocked, so returns the ball to the former Liverpool winger, whose cross is well collected by Nicolas.
13'
This game has become rather scrappy in the last few minutes, with Verona doing their best to disrupt the flow and draw a reaction out of Milan, and it seems to be working, with the visitors’ play lacking the flow it had in the opening minutes.
11'
Finally, Verona manage to carve out a counter-attack, which results in Caceres finding space on the edge of Milan's area. The former Juventus defender drives a low strike towards goal, but Donnarumma is well-placed to make a comfortable stop.
9'
Milan have scored two goals in both their last two league games: the last time they have netted two goals or more in three consecutive Serie A fixtures was in December 2016.
7'
Good defending from the hosts, as a crowd of Verona defenders get across to prevent Kalinic getting on the end of Calabria’s cross following a well-worked move from Milan down the right flank.
5'
Only lowly Benevento have lost more home games than Verona in Serie A this season. However, Pecchia’s side have picked up four points from their last three league games following a run of five successive defeats.
3'
A positive start from Milan, who know a victory would - temporarily at least - take them level on points with Sampdoria in the final Europa League qualification spot. Verona's defence, though, have repelled their visitors well in the fledgling stages.
1'
KICK-OFF! At the sound of Daniele Orsato's whistle, Verona get the game underway.
Hello and welcome, to LIVE coverage of this Serie A clash between struggling Verona, and a rejuvenated AC Milan!
While Verona are fighting it out at the bottom of the table, Milan have corrected their form since Gennaro Gattuso took charge, with the Rossoneri having won their last two fixtures.
Indeed, the second of those came in midweek, against Verona. It finished 3-0 to Milan at San Siro in the Coppa Italia round of 16 clash, with Suso, Alessio Romagnoli and Patrick Cutrone getting the goals.
Gattuso, meanwhile, makes just two changes from the side that cruised into the Coppa Italia quarter-finals last time out. Andre Silva and Patrick Cutrone are the players to make way, with Nikola Kalinic and Fabio Borini coming in.
Gianluigi Donnarumma received abuse from some sections of Milan’s support prior to Wednesday’s win over Verona, but the 18-year-old nevertheless starts despite some questions over his future at the club. Giacomo Bonaventura put in a superb display at San Siro, and he will look to pull the strings once more from his position in the midfield three.
It's a 4-4-1-1 system for Verona, with Fabio Pecchia tasking Alessio Cerci with leading the line, while Daniele Verde will look to support the former Atletico Madrid forward. There are eight changes in total for the hosts.
We're fast approaching kick-off at Marcantonio Bentegodi. Verona have just two Serie A wins to their name this season, while a victory for Milan would represent the first time the Rossoneri have won two consecutive league games since September.
HALF TIME: Verona 1 AC Milan 0.
A lively first half in Verona, with the hosts leading thanks to Caracciolo’s thundering header. Milan have had their chances to equalise, but Verona’s defence have remained steadfast.
Milan’s play in the final third has, in general, let them down so far. It all seems too frantic, and the visitors must look to get Bonaventura more involved if they are to pick apart Verona’s defence. The playmaker has been on the fringes of this game so far.
As if the humiliating defeat to one of Serie A’s strugglers wasn’t bad enough, it got worse for Milan in second-half stoppage time when Suso received his marching orders.
It was a game in which nothing went right for Gennaro Gattuso’s Milan, who remain in seventh - 14 points shy of Roma in fourth place.
FULL TIME: Verona 3 AC Milan 0.
That’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
All in all, a hugely forgettable day for Milan, but a terrific victory for Verona, who move out of the relegation zone.
