A bit of a goal-mouth scramble results in Petkovic turning the ball home, but the play had already been brought back for a foul on Szczesny.
90' +2
We're into the second minute of a minimum four minutes stoppage time...
90' +1
SAVE! Again, Higuain can't get the better of Mirante, as Bologna's goalkeeper gets down to deny Juve's forward from close range.
90'
Wasteful from Dybala at the other end, as he doesn’t manage to get a shot off after combining with Khedria.
88'
CLOSE! What an effort from Pulgar, whose long-range strike is just a matter of inches away from getting a late consolation for the hosts.
86'
C. Marchisio enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
B. Petković gets yellow.
A third and final switch for Juve, with Marchisio replacing Pjanic, who has had a brilliant game.
Another card for the home side. This time it is the substitute Petkovic who goes into the book, having fouled Alex Sandro.
82'
Another concern now for the visitors, as Higuain comes off worse following a challenge with Helander. Unlike Mandzukic, though, Higuain should be able to carry on.
79'
CLOSE! Almost an immediate impact for Dybala, who latches onto a superb flick-on from his compatriot Higuain. The playmaker drives forward into the area before unleashing a wicked strike, but Mirante manages to tip the ball over.
76'
P. Dybala enters the game and replaces M. Mandžukić.
Indeed, Mandzukic will not be able to carry on. That could well be a blow to Juve, who face fellow title contenders Roma next week. Paulo Dybala will replace his stricken teammate.
74'
A bit of a worry here for Juve, as Mandzukic goes down following a collision with a Juve player. The striker eventually limps to the sidelines, and it does not look as if he will continue…
Minute
Description
72'
CHANCE! Higauin picks up a loose ball following the corner, but his strike from the centre of the area is well off target.
71'
There’s also a substitution for the hosts - Okwonkwo, who has worked hard for Bologna to no avail, is replaced by Krejci.
70'
F. Bernardeschi enters the game and replaces Douglas Costa.
L. Krejčí enters the game and replaces O. Okwonkwo.
De Scoglio makes a great run down the right, which results in a corner. And that break in play will enable Allegri to make a change, as the impressive Costa makes way for Bernardeschi.
68'
SAVE! That’s unlucky for Higuain, who sends a terrific strike goalwards, but can’t manage to beat Mirante.
66'
That goal has certainly been coming for Juve, who have put in a performance well worthy of a big-scoring victory so far.
65'
C. Falletti enters the game and replaces G. Donsah.
Substitution Godfred Donsah César Alejandro Falletti dos Santos
64'
B. Matuidi has scored a goal for Juventus!
GOAL! MATUIDI HITS HOME! Glorious from the former Paris Saint-Germain man, who opens his Serie A account with a superb, venomous half-volley that left Mirante with no chance.
62'
Verdi has been involved in five of Bologna’s last seven league goals (two scored, three assisted), but the forward has really struggled so far today, and is something of a passenger in Bologna’s side at the moment as Juve continue to press for a third.
60'
I. Mbaye gets yellow.
Wonderful skill from Costa, who makes a fool of Masina not once but twice, first with a nutmeg and then a drag-back. Brilliant from the Brazilian!
A second booking for Bologna, after Mbaye clatters into Mandzukic.
58'
CHANCE! Bologna have Helander to thank now, as he pulls off a superb block to prevent Higuain getting on the end of Costa’s cross.
56'
Decent play from Bologna results in Okwonkwo getting a shot off from close range. The winger was always tumbling off balance, however, and Szczesny makes a simple stop.
53'
B. Petković enters the game and replaces M. Destro.
A first change of the game now, and it is the disappointing Destro who makes way for Bologna. The former Roma man looks fairly bemused by the decision, as he makes way for Petkovic - who is yet to score this season.
51'
A. Masina gets yellow.
A yellow card now for Bologna's Masina, who brought down Costa.
50'
Juve have now scored in each of their last 22 away league games, and have kept seven clean sheets in the process.
48'
Mandzukic and Costa combine to drive the ball through a crowd of Bologna defenders on the edge of the hosts’ area, but Higuain doesn’t react quickly enough to capitalise.
47'
Juve win a corner and very nearly get a third. Benatia makes contact with Pjanic’s cross, but can’t direct his effort on target. Higuain picks up the loose ball, but is quickly forced wide.
46'
Juve - donning their yellow and blue away strip - get the second half underway.
43'
Bologna win a free-kick down the right that Verdi whips in, but Szczesny is under no pressure as he comes off his line to collect.
42'
STAT - Juve have kept five clean sheets in a row in all competitions: the last time they didn’t concede a goal in six consecutive games was in February 2016.
39'
That goal should put the game beyond all doubt for Juve, who have been in complete control since Pjanic’s free-kick put them ahead. For Bologna, it may now just be a case of damage limitation as the interval approaches.
36'
M. Mandžukić has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by M. Pjanić.
GOAL! OUTSTANDING! What a goal that is from Juve, and again, that man Pjanic is the architect. The Bosnian picked out Mandzukic with a wonderful pass and, having taken the ball down superbly, the former Bayern Munich man slots neatly across Mirante.
Pjanic is at his very best so far today, and that pass to Mandzukic was a thing of sublime beauty. Perfectly-weighted and perfectly-timed, it gave Bologna’s defence very little chance of making a recovery.
34'
CHANCE! An opportunity to double Juve’s tally comes to Khedira, but the former Real Madrid midfielder cannot generate enough power on his attempt to beat Mirante.
32'
Higuain has netted five goals in five league appearances against Bologna, including two braces (one for Napoli, one for Juventus). However, he has been on the fringes of this match so far, and that kick-out on Pulgar is perhaps an indication of his frustration.
31'
G. Higuaín gets yellow.
That’s a late challenge from Higuain, and Juve’s striker deservedly goes into the book after he lunged in on Pulgar.
30'
That goal is harsh on Bologna, who in truth had restricted Juve to very little in the way of goalscoring chances despite the visitors having dominated possession, and the hosts were just starting to present a threat themselves.
27'
M. Pjanić has scored a goal for Juventus!
WHAT A STRIKE BY PJANIC! Well, it was going to take a moment of magic to put Juve ahead, and the diminutive playmaker has produced one with a superb free-kick. From an acute angle, he got his effort up and over the wall and - despite the best efforts of Mirante, who got a hand to it - the ball nestled into the top-left corner.
26'
Now, an opportunity at the other end, as Pjanic stands over a free-kick around 20 yards out from Bologna’s goal…
24'
CHANCE! Great play from Okwonkwo, who leads a swift Bologna counter. The winger weaves his way through some pretty average Juve sending before unleashing a low strike, but Szczesny gets down to make the save - doing well to hold onto the bobbling ball.
22'
It is clear that Juve will have to be patient in this game as they look to craft out an opening. Costa tries to do just that as he cuts in from the right and attempts to slip a ball into the path of Huguain, but Helander intervened.
20'
While Bologna’s form has been inconsistent to say the least, they have not struggled to score this season - especially at home - and Juve will have to be wary of their threat on the counter. The hosts have scored in each of their last six home league games - the last time they have found the net in seven consecutive games on home soil was in December 2012.
18'
A first real sighting of goal for the visitors goes to waste, as Pjanic gets too much on his shot from the edge of Bologna’s area, sending the ball over.
15'
Bologna have lost five of their last eight Serie A fixtures (W2 D1), after they had lost only twice in their previous eight league games (W4 D2). So it is no surprise to see them on the back foot from the off, here.
12'
Terrific work from Mandzukic to pressurise Bologna’s defence and win the ball back for Juve deep in the hosts’ territory. The Croatia striker tees up Alex Sandro for the cross, but the full-back’s delivery is a poor one.
10'
End-to-end stuff in the opening stages at Renato Dall'Ara. Juve get through thanks to a driving run from Costa, who slides a neat through ball into De Sciglio’s path. The full-back works it back to Pjanic, who delivers a lofted cross to the far post, but Mandzukic can’t quite direct his header on target.
9'
Superb defending from Matuidi, who gets across to make a vital challenge on Donsah, preventing Bologna’s midfielder getting a shot off from the edge of Juve’s area after Verdi had teed him up.
7'
STAT - Juventus have lost only one of their last 29 Serie A matches against Bologna, winning 19 times in the process.
5'
A half-chance for Bologna to relieve some of the early pressure on their defence goes begging as Destro, who had picked up the ball on the half-way line, concedes possession to the retreating Matudi. The ball flicks up, and Khedira heads back to Szczesny.
4'
Slack play from Higuain, who drifts offside before latching onto Pjanic's pass. Poor from the Argentine.
2'
Already, it is apparent that Juve are lining up in a 4-3-3, with Pjanic sitting in-between the more advanced Khedira and Matuidi. So, there has been a switch in tactics somewhat from Allegri.
1'
KICK-OFF! We are up and running. Bologna get the game underway.
Hello football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of Juventus’ Serie A encounter with Bologna.
It has been far from smooth sailing for the Serie A champions so far this season, with Massimiliano Allegri’s side sitting third prior to kick-off today. A victory at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, however, would see them move above Inter - who were beaten for the first time this season in Saturday - into second place, and within one point of leaders Napoli.
Bologna meanwhile, sit 12th, and are winless at home against Juve in Series A encounters since November 1998. Since then, there have even nine wins for the Bianconeri and five draws.
Bologna substitutes: Da Costa, Nagy, Kraft, De Maio, Petkovic, Taider, Krejci, Crisetig, Maietta, Falletti, Ravaglia, Torosidis.
Three changes in total for the hosts from the side that were beaten 2-1 by AC Milan last time out in the league. Vasilis Torosidis, Adam Nagy and Rodrigo Palacio drop out, with Ibrahima Mbaye, Andrea Poli and Orji Okwonkwo coming in to Roberto Donadoni’s line-up.
Juventus (4-2-3-1): Szczesny; De Sciglio, Barzagli, Benatia, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Matuidi; Douglas Costa, Pjanic, Mandzukic; Higuain.
Likewise, Allegri makes three alterations to the Juventus side that drew 0-0 with Inter in their last Serie A outing, with Andrea Barzagli, Alex Sandro and Douglas Costa replacing Giorgio Chiellini, Kwadwo Asamoah and Juan Cuadrado respectively. Paulo Dybala again starts on the bench.
With Dybala having to settle for a place on the bench, it appears that Miralem Pjanic will be tasked with filling the void left by the Argentine's absence in midfield. It may well mean that we see more of a 4-3-3 from Juve off the ball, with Pjanic looking to push up in support of Gonzalo Higuain when in possession.
HALF TIME: Bologna 0 Juventus 2.
First, the ex-Roma man put Juve ahead just prior to the half-hour with a wonderful free-kick before, nine minutes later, he set-up Mario Mandzukic with a pinpoint pass to put Juve well on their way to victory.
A composed and clinical first-half display from the Serie A champions, who lead courtesy of two moments of inspiration from Miralem Pjanic.
The game was all-but over as a contest by half time, with Miralem Pjanic and Mario Mandzukic having put the visitors in control, with Blaise Matuidi’s stunner midway through the second half adding gloss to the win.
A comprehensive win and a confident, convincing display from Juve, who are up to second, just a point behind Napoli with a better goal difference than Maurizio Sarri’s side.
FULL TIME: Bologna 0 Juventus 3.
That’s all for now. Thanks as always for tuning in and, until the next time, goodbye!
One worry for Juve before their Coppa Italia clash with Gerona and their huge Series A six-pointer against Roma next weekend could be the fitness of Mandzukic, who went off injured. However, Paulo Dybala made a late cameo, and he should be fit to start in Turin next time out.
