CHANCE! Drmic could have and should have killed the game. The striker was through on goal and had Hazard in support, but he went for the selfish option and dragged his shot wide of the mark.
90' +1
J. Drmić enters the game and replaces Raffael.
Drmic comes on for Raffael
89'
Just a few more minutes now for Gladbach to hang on. The hosts manage to work themselves a corner, which they commit just three players in the Bayern box for as Ginter challenges but the red shirts manage to get rid of the danger.
86'
Great footwork from Kimmich on the right side allows Lewandowski some room on the edge of the box to work a shot with his left foot. However, the striker scuffs his effort and merely warms the gloves of Sommer.
84'
The stamina of Raffael, Stindl and Hazard is admirable as the trio press Sule and Hummels to force Ulreich to play the long passes forward rather than allowing the defenders with better distribution to start the attacks.
82'
SHOT! A cross is delivered into the box by Bernat, but it was behind Lewandowski and the striker had to run backwards to attack the ball. He manages to make it, but his glancing header loops over the crossbar and onto the roof of the net.
80'
Cries for a foul as Stindl plays in Raffael again and it appears as if Hummels fouls the Brazilian as he stumbles and Ulreich collects the ball. However, the referee waves play on and nothing is awarded.
78'
Monchengladbach are unable to fashion any respite. Raffael manages to break with Hazard and Stindl, but Hummels makes a fantastic tackle to switch the focus back onto the home side's defence.
76'
Every second is going to feel like a minute for Monchengladbach now. They have done well to keep Bayern out for 74 minutes, but these final 16 minutes of Munich onslaught is going to be extremely difficult to keep off.
74'
A. Vidal has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOAL! The ball comes to Vidal on the edge of the box and the midfielder fires a volley through a crowd of bodies and into the bottom corner with his left foot. Sommer gets a hand to it, but it still trickles in. The goalkeeper will be disappointed with that one.

Description
72'
Bayern win themselves a free-kick as Kimmich whips a cross into the middle, but just as as most of the deliveries this afternoon it's cleared by the home side's defence with ease.
70'
Bayern are crawling around the box now as we push into the final 20 minutes. Gladbach have been resilient so far, but the hosts are firmly parked into their own box with Raffael and Stindl dropping back.
68'
K. Okyere Wriedt enters the game and replaces S. Rudy.
Wriedt comes on for Rudy.
67'
POST! Once again Bayern are denied by the woodwork. Coman cuts inside and drives and effort towards the near post, but Sommer gets down to tap it onto the post and catches the effort as it bounces back into him.
65'
N. Elvedi gets yellow.
What's rather alarming for Monchengladbach now is the number of times Kimmich has managed to find room on the right flank. The full-back's ability to cross, and even score, is well documented and they must prevent him from getting free.
Elvedi gets a yellow for a foul on Lewandowski.
62'
SAVE! Sommer is called into action, but it's nothing he's unable to deal with. A corner from Kimmich finds Hummels in the middle, but his powerful headed is fired straight into the clutches of the goalkeeper.
60'
Bayern have just 30 minutes left in this match to try and get something. Whilst the away side are looking much more dangerous, Sommer is still have a relatively easy evening as lofted crosses get floated his way for catching practice.
58'
Bayern are getting closer and closer. Vidal threads a pass through Vestergaard and Ginter, but the Dane managed to recover to put his body on the line to stop Lewandowski from pulling the trigger and getting a shot off on goal.
56'
STAT: Lewandowski has scored just one goal against Monchengladbach, which is his worst return for any club he's played more than once against.
54'
Bayern must work the ball into the box, as whilst the away side are getting better at moving the play quicker, Tolisso just decided to shoot from outside the box and it flew above Sommer's crossbar and time is currently on their side.
52'
Bayern already look much more dangerous in this half as a deep cross from Kimmich finds Coman at the back post, but the winger opts to head back into the middle towards Vidal who is unable to steer his shot beyond Sommer.
50'
Coman is already seeming problematic for the hosts to deal with as the winger carried the ball up the left flank as two Gladbach players swarmed him before drawing the foul. However, the set-piece for Bayern amounts to nothing.
48'
It's going to be interesting to see what Bayern Munich are able to muster in this half as the away side have won all nine matches since Heynckes took charge this season, but they have a huge test here.
46'
F. Johnson enters the game and replaces T. Jantschke.
M. Friedl enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
Friedl comes on for James.
Jantschke has a short afternoon as he's withdrawn for Johnson.
The second half is underway.
45' +4
Gladbach are clearly desperate to take this 2-0 lead into the break as they sit deeper than we've seen before in this half. This is where Bayern tend to thrive, when teams sit back in their own box, but the Foals are doing well thus far.
45' +2
A free-kick is awarded to Bayern on the edge of Monchengladbach's box, which Lewndowski takes the duties for. However, his effort is high and wide of the goal much to the delight of the home support in the stands.
45'
K. Coman enters the game and replaces Juan Bernat.
Finally Heynckes senses the lack of creativity and brings on Coman for Bernat.
44'
M. Ginter has scored a goal for Borussia M'gladbach!
GOAL! Stindl glides into the box and a shot from him is going absolutely nowhere, but Ginter is unmarked at the back post after peeling away from two red shirts and tapping home the easiest goal he'll score all season.
43'
POST! Lewandowski gets his first glimpse of goal. A deep cross from James is headed by Vidal to Tolisso, who flicks it on to Lewndowski and he manages to improvise a back-hell despite stumbling and he's denied by the woodwork.
41'
This is a real test for Bayern now, but it's not looking as if much is going to change as we approach half-time. The away side must find some creativity to grant Lewandowski some chances and that isn't happening at the moment.
39'
Penalty goal scored by T. Hazard for Borussia M'gladbach!
GOAL! Hazard fires Monchengladbach in front...just. Ulreich gets a hand to the effort down to his right, but it wasn't enough to keep the effort out. Gladback lead and it's definitely deserved.
38'
PENALTY! Monchengladbach are awarded a penalty as Hazard goes down in the box when he comes inside of Sule, but it appears as if it's been awarded for handball!
36'
Monchengladbach look the most likely to score, but a poor cross from Jantschke displays how blunt the hosts have been also. Whilst the hosts have managed to fashion chances, their end product is severely lacking at the moment.
34'
There is a real lack of fluidity to this Bayern side. It appears as Rudy on the wing, as oppose to Robben who is out injured, is majorly changing how this side opperates and the loss of Thiago is also visible. There is a huge creativity void at the moment.
32'
We're just over the 30 minute mark and Hecking will be extremely happy with the display his side have put on so far. Lewandowski has barely seen the light in this match, nor have there been any major worries for the hosts.
31'
C. Tolisso gets yellow.
Tolisso gets the first yellow of the match.
30'
SAVE! Sommer is called into action as James drills a low cross into the box and the Swiss goalkeeper gets down well to push the effort away from the six-yard box. However, the ball falls to Vidal, but Zakaria is on hand to pressure the midfielder and usher the danger away.
28'
Heynckes is starting to show frustration on the sideline as the Bayern manager starts to get animated with his side who are still yet to fashion any chance of note in this evening's fixture.
26'
STAT: Monchengladbach have suffered more Bundesliga defeats (47) and conceded more goals (184) against Bayern Munich than anybody else.
23'
Bayern haven't themselves just yet. A deep cross from Rudy goes straight out of play, which epitomises what we've seen from the champions so far. Gladbach are playing two deep banks of four, but the visitors are unable to penetrate it.
21'
SHOT! Raffael tries another effort with his left foot, this time it's a half-volley from 25 yards out under a lot more pressure. However, once again he slices his effort well wide and the ball ends up closer to the corner flag.
19'
Bayern aren't able to create a clear opportunity currently. They're trying to target the wing play, with deliveries coming into the area from both James and Kimmich in the last few minutes but Sommer has been able to gather on both occasions.
17'
It seems as if Ginter is stepping up to occupy the role that was left by Kramer when he went off injured with Jantschke slotting into defence. Bayern are shifting the ball around extremely quickly which is making life difficult for the defender-come-midfielder.
15'
The chance for Raffael has exploded the atmosphere inside Borussia Park. The home support are creating a wall of noise for the Foals to make the occasion as difficult as possible for the champions of Germany.
13'
CHANCE! Monchengladbach should be 1-0 to the good. Stindl plays a pass behind Sule to put Raffael through on goal with Ulreich to beat, but the striker slices his effort with his left foot way, way wide of the mark.
11'
T. Jantschke enters the game and replaces C. Kramer.
Jantschke comes on for the injured Kramer for his 183rd league match for Monchengladbach.
The stretcher is called on for Kramer as he rolls onto his side. The midfielder is in clear pain and goes off the pitch to a round of applause from the whole stadium but it doesn't look good and now Hecking has to change up his system.
9'
A stoppage in play as Kramer gets a big hit from Vestergaard as both men keep their respective eyes on the ball. The big Dane flies through the midfielder and may be forced to come off due to a head injury.
7'
Wendt and Hazard are showing early intentions of getting up the left side and combining as the full-back overlaps the winger and is almost found to deliver a cross. However, Sule is awake to the danger and shiels the ball out of play.
5'
It seems as if Monchengladbach may have to be patient in this match. The away side are set on commanding the possession stats and currently the Foals have only had the opportunity to break once which was eventually closed down.
3'
Bayern are taking early control of the possession by knocking the ball around the pitch that is typical of Heynckes' side as they wait to create space for themselves in the early stages of this match.
1'
Monchengladbach get the match underway!
With the Champions League fixture just passing for Bayern Munich, it was inevitable that Heynckes was going to make changes to his XI that defeated Anderlecht. James, Bernat, Hummels and Javi Martinez make their way into the starting side, but Hecking opts to keep his team fairly similar to the one that defeated Hertha Berlin with Herrmann being the only change for Fabian Johnson who drops to the bench.
Ever since Heynckes was appointed Bayern again the Bavarians have been simply unstoppable; they’re unbeaten in 30 top-flight matches under his management (W26 D4). However, with ‘Gladbach residing fourth in the table this could be his biggest test yet despite their leaky defence.
Borussia Monchengladbach have scored the most goals against Bayern Munich than any other Bundesliga side (121). However, with just seven goals coming at home this season, Dieter Hecking will be hoping for a lot more this evening as Germany’s in-form side make the trip to North Rhine-Westphalia.
