Desperate to keep a clean sheet, Mustafi charges out to make a superb block from Son's strike, deflecting it over the bar.
90' +3
Close from Iwobi, whose low strike whistles just wide of the right-hand post.
90' +2
CHANCE! So close to a third for Arsenal, as Sanchez races away from his namesake, who tries a desperate attempt to drag the winger down. The former Barcelona man stays on his feet, though, but Lloris rushes out to make a save.
90' +1
We’ll have four minutes of added time at the Emirates…
88'
Sanchez, Bellerin and Xhaka all have the chance to get shots off from the cusp of Tottenham’s area, but all of them hesitate, and the visitors manage to clear.
86'
Ozil has created 34 chances for his teammates this season; more than any other player in the Premier League.
85'
MISS! Well, that could have been the chance for Tottenham. Llorente knocked a header down into Son, who after setting himself, can only volley over from close range.
84'
A. Iwobi enters the game and replaces M. Özil.
A second substitution from Arsenal. Mesut Ozil, who has been superb today, gets a standing ovation as he goes off, with Alex Iwobi coming on.
83'
Another swift counter-attack from Arsenal, with Ozil again the architect. His pass into Bellerin is perfect, but Davies is back to block the full-back’s strike.
81'
SAVE! That’s excellent goalkeeping from Cech, who lunges to his right to keep out Dier’s header.

Description
78'
Tottenham are still toiling for a way back into this game, but there is nothing forthcoming. It has been an incredibly disciplined display from the Gunners, and the visitors look somewhat devoid of ideas.
75'
Son Heung-Min enters the game and replaces D. Alli.
Fernando Llorente enters the game and replaces H. Kane.
Two big changes from Pochettino, now. First, Son Heung-min. comes on for Dele Alli, who has been poor today.
And, somewhat surprisingly, Harry Kane - who has also struggled - makes way. Fernando Llorente is his replacement. It is the first time that the England man has failed to score in a Premier League north London derby that he has featured in.
73'
F. Coquelin enters the game and replaces A. Lacazette.
Nacho Monreal gets yellow.
Monreal picks up a caution.
A first change now from Wenger, and it’s a defensive one, as Alexandre Lacazette goes off and Francis Coquelin comes on.
71'
CHANCE! It’s on target this time from Sanchez, as he once again combines with Ozil. The German’s pass is perfectly weighted, but Sanchez couldn’t generate the power to beat Lloris.
69'
High and wide from Sanchez who, after latching onto a pinpoint pass from Ozil - tries his luck from the edge of the area.
67'
Still, Tottenham only need one clear-cut chance and this game could change in an instant. At the moment, though, Arsenal look comfortable.
65'
Davies again puts in a dangerous delivery from his position out on the left, but no Tottenham teammate manages to get to it first, and the chance goes begging as Sanchez gets back to recover before drawing a foul.
62'
H. Winks enters the game and replaces M. Dembélé.
A first change of the game, and it comes from Pochettino. Moussa Dembele is making way, with Harry Winks coming on.
60'
STAT - Pochettino has lost all six PL games when 2+ goals behind at half-time with Spurs.
57'
CLOSE! Finally, Kane manages to get a clear strike on goal from close range, and if not for a vital challenge by Monreal, the striker’s effort would almost certainly have nestled in the top corner.
55'
A sweeping counter from Arsenal almost sees Ramsey - at the culmination of a great run - get through, but Ozil’s throuhball is slightly overhit and Lloris is out swiftly to collect.
53'
Last-ditch defending from Monreal, who reacts first to get to Davies’ cross ahead of Kane, who has lacked his usual sharpness in front of goal - perhaps as a result of the injury that kept him out for England.
50'
H. Kane gets yellow.
A booking now for Kane, who slid in dangerously on Xhaka. Initially, Mike Dean seemed to have missed it, but after a quick discussion with his assistant, does indeed book Tottenham’s forward.
49'
One player who really has had very little impact on this game so far has been Dele Alli, who has been crowded out by Arsenal’s midfield and defence, leaving Kane somewhat isolated. Pochettino may well be better off introducing Son, or Llorente, to try and rectify that.
48'
S. Mustafi gets yellow.
Another Arsenal player picks up a caution - this time their first goalscorer Mustafi, who lunged in from behind on Kane.
46'
We’re back up and running for the second half! No changes for either side at the interval, with Arsenal well in control.
45'
WIDE! Kane tries to take matters into his own hands with a powerful run in from the left flank. Using Alli as a decoy, the striker finds space for himself 20 yards out, but his eventual strike is well off target.
44'
There were just 305 seconds between Arsenal's first and second goals.
41'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by A. Lacazette.
On the balance of play, Arsenal do deserve this lead, with the Gunners’ front three of Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette all playing at the top of their games, and Tottenham must now show their grit.
GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!!! SANCHEZ MAKES IT TWO! Tottenham are in trouble at the Emirates, as the Chile winger powers Arsenal power into a 2-0 lead. Lacazette gets in behind Tottenham’s defence yet again, and this time he picks out Sanchez who, after taking a fantastic first touch, manages to squeeze an emphatic finish over Lloris at the near post.
Lacazette's finishing so far may have been off, but his movement has been top class, and the France striker kept his composure to tee up Sanchez, who made no mistake with the finish.
40'
STAT - Arsenal have scored 16 headed goals in the Premier League in 2017, three more than any other team.
38'
A. Sánchez gets yellow.
Sanchez becomes the second Arsenal player to pick up a booking.
37'
Regardless of the fact that they were hard done by, Tottenham did fail to defend Ozil’s free-kick, with Mustafi - who may well have been offside, to boot - managing to get away from his marker and power a brilliant header in off the post, giving Lloris no chance.
36'
S. Mustafi has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by M. Özil.
GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! MUSTAFI GIVES ARSENAL THE LEAD! Well, a bit of controversy at the Emirates, as - from the free-kick that never really was - the Germany defender heads home Ozil’s cross.
Since his debut in September 2013, Mesut Ozil has provided more assists in the Premier League than any other player.
35'
That’s an extremely harsh decision from Mike Dean, who claims that Davinson Sanchez had pulled on the shirt of his namesake Alexis Sanchez. The Colombia defender had done no such thing, though, and seemed to have won the ball fairly.
34'
Another chance for Tottenham, who are starting to show their quality now. Kane latches onto a looping cross from the right wing, generating enough power on his header to force Cech into an instinctive save.
33'
POST! That is brilliant play from Eriksen, who - after receiving the ball from Davies - takes an excellent touch before driving a low strike goal wards. Cech may well have had it covered, with the ball rattling away off the base of the left-hand upright.
32'
G. Xhaka gets yellow.
After his warning earlier, Xhaka now does get himself in the referee’s book, having dived in recklessly on Alli.
29'
No side has won more Premier League away games in 2017 than Tottenham (10), though on their last trip away from north London, they were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United, and they are certainly on the back foot here. As I type, Dier has to make a crucial interception to prevent Ramsey tapping in from Ozil's cross.
27'
A brief respite for Tottenham, as the. Visitors enjoy a spell of possession before Kane heads wide from a cross from the right. Moments later, though, Lacazette is almost in again, with Lloris having to rush off his line to clear.
24'
A cynical tackle from Xhaka, who is fortunate to escape a booking after he scythed down Sissoko, with Mike Dean electing to let the foul go unpunished.
22'
Kane clears the corner, but Arsenal keep up the pressure, with Sanchez twice finding space on the right flank. Both times, though, the winger fails to find a teammate.
21'
Tottenham’s defence are under some pressure, now, with Vertonghen’s mistake giving Arsenal a free-kick in a dangerous position. Xhaka whips in a decent ball, and the visitors concede a corner…
19'
CHANCE! What an opportunity for the Gunners! Ramsey’s sublime throughball unleashes Bellerin down the right, and the Spaniard proceeds to deliver a superb cross into the six-yard box. Lacazette looks all set to tuck it home, but Dier and Sanchez just seem to do enough to put Arsenal’s striker off.
17'
A bit of a French connection, there! Koscielny looks to thread a long, looping pass into Lacazette, who had got behind Tottenham’s defence. Lloris, however, reacts swiftly to intervene.
15'
Great work from Sissoko down the right sees the midfielder get the better of Monreal before cutting the ball back to Alli. He takes a touch to set himself, but his cross-cum-shot is cleared before Kane can get on the end of it.
12'
GREAT DEFENDING! That’s good play from Davinson Sanchez, who does well to prod Alexis Sanchez’s header - which was aimed for the onrushing Lacazette - away from danger.
11'
A glimpse of goal there for Lacazette, who is picked out by Kolasinac. The cross is slightly behind the France striker, though, and his first touch takes the ball into the path of Sissoko, who thumps it clear.
10'
STAT - Meetings between these sides in the Premier League have seen both teams score on 34 occasions – more than any other fixture in the competition.
8'
End to end stuff already at the Emirates! Vertonghen gets lucky as he is pressed by Ozil, slipping while in possession and allowing the Germany playmaker to nip in. Mike Dean, however, awards a free-kick Tottenham’s way.
7'
A first attempt on goal for Tottenham now, as Kane gets the better of Koscielny and then works his way into the area. The England man squares up before unleashing a low strike at goal, but Cech is equal to it.
6'
Koscielny is making his 300th Arsenal appearance today, and the centre-back looks to make a positive impact going forward with a surging run from deep. He attempts to pick out Bellerin, but his pass is wayward. Arsenal recover swiftly though, with the ball fed to Lacazette, who can’t keep his effort down.
4'
The Gunners have won their last 10 Premier League games at the Emirates, while Tottenham have won only two of their last 32 away league visits to Arsenal, winning 3-1 at Highbury in May 1993 and 3-2 in November 2010.
2'
High pressure from Ramsey on his compatriot Davies, though the Arsenal man eventually fouls the Tottenham full back on the halfway line. The visitors switch the play from the resulting free-kick, though the home side deal with it easily.
1'
KICK-OFF! The rain is coming down at the Emirates, making the conditions ideal for a feisty derby, and Eriksen gets proceedings underway!
Hello and welcome football fans, to LIVE coverage of the first north London derby of the season, as Arsenal host arch rivals Tottenham at Emirates Stadium.
Following years of dominance from the Gunners, Tottenham - under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino - have become the de facto rulers of north London in recent seasons.
In fact, the last time Arsene Wenger’s side tasted victory in this fixture was in March 2014, with Pochettino yet to lose a north London derby, having won two and drawn four of the six he has presided over.
Arsenal substitutes: Mertesacker, Wilshere, Ospina, Iwobi, Welbeck, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin.
While Arsenal’s rather indifferent start to the Premier League campaign sees them sit sixth with 11 games played, Tottenham are wedged in third, four points ahead of the Gunners. A win for the visitors today would see them move - temporarily at least - above Manchester United into second place, and edge nearer to current runaway leaders Manchester City.
The team news is in from the Emirates. We'll start off with the hosts…
A full-strength side for the hosts, then, as Wenger makes two changes from the side that were beaten rather convincingly by Manchester City last time out. Francis Coquelin and Alex Iwobi both drop out, with Shkodran Mustafi - who passed a late fitness test - and the in-form Alexandre Lacazette coming in.
Tottenham substitutes: Walker-Peters, Llorente, Foyth, Vorm, Kurier, Son, Winks.
One major omission from Pochettino’s squad is Danny Rose. The full-back, who is rumoured to be interested in a move away from north London, played for England during the international fixtures, but is not even included on the bench today.
The start of this huge clash is fast approaching, with both sides now making their way out of the tunnel. We should be in for a cracker!
Like Wenger, Pochettino has stuck with the three man defence which has seen Tottenham excel this season, although Toby Alderwerield - out until the new year with a hamstring injury - will be a big miss at the back. Hugo Lloris, however, has overcome injury to start today, while Christian Eriksen, fresh from his stunning performance for Denmark against the Republic of Ireland, slots in alongside Dele Alli behind Harry Kane.
HALF TIME: Arsenal 2 Tottenham 0.
A hugely impressive display from Arsenal so far, who are well deserving of their lead. Their first goal did come in slightly controversial fashion, but Tottenham have been far from at their best, and Pochettino certainly has work to do if the visitors are to get something out of this game.
Wenger, meanwhile, will be demanding more of the same from his side, who netted with their first two efforts on target.
However, there is hope for Tottenham. In the last seven Premier League meetings between these sides at the Emirates, the side scoring first has only gone on to win once – with Arsenal securing a 1-0 win in September 2013 thanks to Olivier Giroud’s goal.
Sanchez's goal was his first against any of the 'big six' in the Premier League since Sep 2016 v Chelsea, ending a run of 11 matches without a goal against them.
FULL TIME: Arsenal 2 Tottenham 0.
A wholly convincing win from the Gunners, then, as they come out on top in the north London derby for the first time in seven attempts while Mauricio Pochettino has been in charge at Tottenham.
Well, that’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
That victory lifts Arsenal above Liverpool and into fifth place, level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea, and just one behind both Tottenham and Manchester United, as it stands.
The luck was certainly on Arsene Wenger’s side today, but Tottenham’s display was simply not up to scratch, while Arsenal’s team performance was top class.
