Last chance for Spartak as Kjaer fouls Promes. Sergio Rico claims the cross though and that brings the game to a close.
90' +4
Sevilla win a free-kick for a high boot and that should be that. The hosts will take all the time in the world to take this set piece.
90' +3
Spartak throwing everything but the kitchen sink forward, with Popov seeing a shot blocked, and Sevilla now have possession. They're looking to see the game out and their work should now be done.
90' +1
W. Ben Yedder gets yellow.
Late yellow card for Ben Yedder, again for dissent, as he kicks the ball away to waste time.
Five minutes of added time here, with one already played, so there's time for Spartak to chase an equaliser.
90'
Promes fires over the bar and Jesus Navas is furious near the halfway line after a collision with Fernando that wasn't spotted. It was a clear slap across the face and he's extremely fortunate that the officials missed it.
89'
Another free-kick for Sevilla, another foul by Dzhikiya, but Spartak collect the ball quickly. It's last chance saloon for the Russians and they're throwing everything forward in an attempt to salvage something from the game.
87'
Free-kick for Sevilla right by the corner flag on the right, with Dzhikiya comitting the foul, and the hosts are intent to try and keep the ball in the corner to run down time.
86'
G. Dzhikia gets yellow.
After a quiet first half, Quincy Promes is showing flashes of brilliance and whips a dangerous cross into the middle where Lenglet clears the ball away.
A silly yellow card for Georgiy Dzhikiya as he's booked for dissent, which means he'll miss the next Champions League game against Maribor.
84'
It's 344 days since Sevilla last lost at home, with that defeat coming last November against Juventus, and that record looks set to be maintained. The hosts still have work to do though if they're to secure all three points.
83'
S. Corchia enters the game and replaces G. Mercado.
Concern for Sevilla as Mercado is down near the centre circle and requires treatment, which leads to Corchia coming on to replace him for a birthday appearance- he turned 27 today.
Minute
Description
80'
Tempers flaring, Ze Luis at the centre of it. He rises to challenge Lenglet in the air and then clashes with the French defender. For some reason, he's protesting his innocence when it was a blatant foul.
79'
M. Petković enters the game and replaces A. Eshchenko.
There were appeals for handball in the build up to that goal, when Glushakov controlled the lofted ball, and it's certainly a contentious decision.
Final change for Spartak, who may feel they can get something from this match after all. Eschenko makes way, replaced by Petkovic.
78'
Zé Luís has scored a goal for Spartak Moscow!
GAME ON! Ze Luis, off the bench, has just made it a very interesting finale to this match. Glushakov, played in with a lofted ball, saw his effort saved from Sergio Rico but Ze Luis is there to tuck home.
77'
M. Krohn-Dehli enters the game and replaces É. Banega.
Banega has been the stand out performer tonight and he makes way for Krohn-Delhi, earning a standing ovation from the Sevilla fans.
75'
OFF THE LINE! Sevilla looked destined to get their third and put the game beyond any doubt. Nolito was unleashed and cut back to play the ball to Ben Yedder but his initial touch is a tad too heavy but it still takes a valiant effort from Kombarov to clear the ball away.
74'
Jesús Navas enters the game and replaces Pablo Sarabia.
Sevilla's first change of the game sees Jesus Navas come on for his 50th Champions League appearance and it is indeed Sarabia making way.
72'
Zé Luís enters the game and replaces L. Melgarejo.
Second change of the night for Spartak Moscow, who bring Ze Luis on for Melgarejo.
71'
Banega, somehow, keeps the ball under the challenge from three Sevilla men and eventually wins a free-kick. He's been the man of the moment this evening.
70'
Sevilla's corner, meanwhile, comes to nothing and Spartak hit on the counter. Eshchenko's delivery is nodded away by Kjaer and falls to Glushakov, who strikes a wayward effort well over Sergio Rico's goal.
69'
Sevilla win a corner but the concern will be for Sarabia, who requires treatment on the far side after an off the ball injury. Jesus Navas is warming up so it could well be the end of his night.
67'
Sevilla have settled into their stride and are good value for their lead. There's certainly more goals in this though and the Spaniard's may go for the jugular, as they seek revenge for the defeat last time out.
64'
Liverpool are now 2-0 up against Maribor so Sevilla will sit second place this evening, although it's still a very strong position and leaves things looking very bleak for Spartak.
62'
Banega's goal is the sort of finish you can watch again and again. Superb footwork gave him the opportunity and it was destined for the back of the net as soon as it struck his left boot.
61'
S. Taşçı gets yellow.
Tasci deservedly enters the referee's notebook with a very late challenge on Escudero.
59'
É. Banega has scored a goal for Sevilla! Assist by Pablo Sarabia.
Sarabia provides the assist but all the credit must go to Banega.
WHAT A GOAL! Banega, creator of the opening goal, doubles Sevilla's advantage with a stunning strike! The Argentine cut inside onto his left foot and curled a shot into the left hand corner of the post, leaving Selikhov hapless.
57'
I. Popov enters the game and replaces M. Pašalić.
Spartak are making their first change, bringing Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic's evening to a close. Ivelin Popov is his replacement.
55'
Not the best moment of the night for Spartak stopper Selikhov, who fails to catch a corner after surging off his line and being caught in no man's land. Fortunately, Sevilla can't convert and the ball eventually goes behind for a goal kick.
53'
It's been almost seven years since Spartak Moscow last won away from home in Europe and they haven't shown much to suggest that run can come to an end this evening.
51'
Sarabia wins a corner, after nicking the ball off the defender, and Banega again has the opportunity to whip a ball into the box. It's a woeful delivery though and Fernando, as the first man, comfortably deals with it.
49'
CLOSE! Nolito almost nets a stunning goal after a Lenglet lofted a superb ball forward to the winger, who darted inside and set his sights for goal but dragged an effort wide of the target.
47'
Sarabia lets fly from distance but it takes a deflection that takes all the sting out of the shot, resulting in an easy collection for Selikhov. Sevilla get forward again immediately though but Ben Yedder is flagged offside.
46'
Decent start for Spartak but Promes is forced wide, eventually taking a shot that's easily dealt with by the Sevilla defence.
45'
Another delivery from Banega, again from the side where he cross for Lenglet's goal, but Spartak hold firm once more.
KICK-OFF! We're back underway in Andalusia, with Spartak now kicking from left to right.
44'
Spartak have looked better since conceding but, after a period where they showed more attacking intent, the hosts have settled back into control as Nolito wins another corner.
42'
Ben Yedder will want to see more of the ball after the break but he's won a corner there. Banega takes it, from the same side as the opening goal, but this time Luiz Adriano heads the ball away.
40'
Tempers flare as Spartak finally work the ball into the box, Eshchenko feels he was nudged by Nolito as he attempted to get on the edge of a dangerous cross. The pair go head-to-head and earn a warning from the referee.
38'
Promes ran riot in the game two weeks ago, scoring twice and securing two assists, but he's largely been a passenger this evening. Spartak will need to get him involved more if they're to overturn this deficit, just as rivals CSKA Moscow did last night.
36'
Conceding does seem to have ignited a fire within Spartak and they're now making their presence known in the game. Sevilla still dominate however and, as it stands, lead the way in Group E.
34'
SAVE! Fernando tests Sergio Rico with a free-kick from range and it's a relatively comfortable one for the Sevilla man, who's been largely a spectator so far.
32'
D. Glushakov gets yellow.
Glushakov is the first name in the book as he's found a way to stop Banega- fouling him.
30'
C. Lenglet has scored a goal for Sevilla! Assist by É. Banega.
GOAL! Sevilla finally take the lead! Banega wins a corner and his delivery is deep to the far post, where Lenglet rises high to head home. It's been coming!
Banega has been everywhere tonight and it always seemed like he'd be the route to goal. As it turns out, he provides from a set-piece.
28'
Unfortunately for the visitors, that chance came to nothing and they've returned to have their backs against the wall.
27'
Rare opportunity in attack for Spartak, as Luiz Adriano wins a free-kick under a challenge from Lenglet.
25'
Spartak Moscow are being left chasing shadows. N'Zonzi and Banega are popping up everywhere in midfield, whilst both Sarabia and Nolito have provided plenty of width. It's been a dominating display from Sevilla but we await the opening goal.
23'
A teasing ball through the heart of defence from Banega sees Mercado surging forward but Selikhov is quick off his line to quell the danger.
21'
CHANCE! Another Sarabia cross and this time it does find Nolito at the back post, who tries to loft a ball over the goalkeeper but sees his effort land on the roof of the net.
20'
Sarabia again involved down the right, whipping a dangerous cross towards the far post that had Selikhov beaten but also had too much pace for Nolito to get on the end of it.
18'
Sarabia is furious after being pulled back down the right and stopped to appeal for a free-kick. That wasn't given, much to his disgust, and he would certainly have been better off trying to continue rather than throwing his toys out of the pram.
16'
Another decent opening for Sevilla, again the pass in the final third isn't good enough. Banega had two team-mates waiting in the middle for his pull back but it's intercepted. It does feel like the opening goal is coming though.
14'
Sevilla continue to find plenty of joy down the left and this time it's Escudero with space to work with. He does well to find room for a pass, though his drag back to the edge of the area is intercepted.
12'
Nolito's progress is halted by the offside flag but the former Manchester City man has enjoyed plenty of space on the left hand side so far.
10'
Sevilla still flying in the early exchanges of this game, with Spartak struggling to find a way out of their own half.
7'
SAVE! Selikhov is called into action for the first time tonight, as he palms away an attempt from Nolito.
6'
Sevilla are really going for the jugular here and are flying forward in numbers. Ben Yedder again has the ball in a threatening position but he tries to switch play across the box and sees his pass intercepted.
5'
Bright start for the hosts who are showing a lot of attacking intent, though they're certainly being aided by sloppy play by Spartak.
3'
CHANCE! Banega with a glorious chance to take the lead as Sarabia steals the ball in midfield, with Banega fed through to stand one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Unfortunately, he drags his effort wide of the mark.
2'
Early pressure from Sevilla sees them win a throw-in in the attacking third but Ben Yedder can't create anything after receiving the ball.
1'
KICK-OFF! We're underway at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. Sevilla get us started, kicking from left to right.
Sevilla will be looking for revenge this evening after being drubbed 5-1 by Spartak Moscow in the previous clash in Russia, where Quincy Promes proved to be a thorn in their start throughout. They head into the game third in the group with four points, a point below Spartak and Liverpool, who play Maribor.
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE text coverage of the Champions League clash between Sevilla and Spartak Moscow, which is extremely significant for both sides as it's all to play for in Group E.
Spartak's memorable victory against Sevilla last time out has sent the Russian side top as it stands, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference. Their away form in the Champions League is woeful though, having gone nine matches on their travels without a win- including qualifiers.
Sevilla XI: Sergio Rico; Gabriel Mercado, Simon Kjaer, Clement Lenglet, Sergio Escudero; Ever Banega, Steven N'Zonzi, Guido Pizarro; Pablo Sarabia, Wissam Ben Yedder, Nolito.
Sevilla bench: David Soria, Michael Krohn-Delhi, Sebastian Corchia, Luis Muriel, Franco Vazquez, Ganso, Jesus Navas.
Spartak Moscow bench: Artyom Rebrov, Mako Petkovic, Artem Samsonov, Ivelin Popov, Pedro Rocha, Ze Luis, Ilya Kutepov.
Sevilla make four changes to the side that beat Leganes 2-1 at the weekend, with Mercado, Sergio Rico, Banega and Nolito all coming in. David Soria, Corchia and Krohn-Delhi drop to the bench, whilst Joaquin Correa doesn't make the squad.
Spartak Moscow XI: Aleksander Selikhov; Andrey Eshchenko, Serdar Tasci, Giorgi Jikia, Dmitri Kombarov; Fernando, Denis Glushakov; Mario Pasalic, Lorenzo Melgarejo, Quincy Promes; Luiz Adriano.
Spartak Moscow also make changes from their last match, three in total, and come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with FC Rostov. Eshchenko, Pasalic and Melgarejo all enter the line-up, which sees Popov and Petkovic drop to the bench. Zelimkhan Bakayev misses out entirely.
It's just 15 days since Spartak hit five past Sevilla, the first Russian side to score that many in a Champions League match, and tonight's hosts have to perform a lot better. At home, they stand as favourites for the clash.
HALF-TIME! The Portuguese referee brings the first period to a close and Sevilla have a narrow lead, thanks to Clement Lenglet's headed goal from a corner. The hosts certainly deserve their advantage and will perhaps feel that they should be further ahead than they find themselves.
Sevilla, as it stands, lead the way in Group E with Liverpool currently drawing with Maribor. The Spaniards do have work to do after the break though and the one criticism will be their inability to involve leading striker Ben Yedder more regularly.
It's a first period to forget for Spartak as they simply haven't been at the races so far. The Russians have been left chasing shadows and their aspirations of reaching the knock-out stages could take a hit as a result.
FULL-TIME! Sevilla dominated throughout and deserved their lead after Clement Lenglet headed home a Ever Banega cross, before the Argentine got himself on the scoresheet with a stunning effort. Ze Luis, off the bench, got Spartak Moscow back into the game for the finale but had left themselves with too much to do.
Sevilla now sit second in Group E, two points clear of Spartak, and welcome Liverpool to Andalusia next. There's still work to do but they'll now fancy their chances of advancing through to the Round of 16 and equalling their best-ever finish in the Champions League.
Spartak Moscow will know they have work to do if they're to advance past the group stages for the first time since 2001 and nothing less than a victory against Maribor next time will be good enough. They may well have a huge finale to their campaign, as their final match is at Anfield against Liverpool.
