The game gets back underway and Leipzig, via Werner, immediately try to bring the ball down the left flank in attack - but their effort takes a deflection straight to Sa and the referee blows for full time!
90' +3
M. Pereira has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by V. Aboubakar.
But that certainly is the game! Maxi Pereira gets his first goal of the Champions League campaign as he times a fabulous run into open space to collect an Aboubakar through ball - and with all the Leipzig defence pushed up in attack, there is no-one there to stop him going one-on-one with Gulacsi and slotting a fine ball into the bottom left corner beneath the keeper. 3-1 to the hosts with seconds left.
90' +2
Is that the game for Leipzig? Upamenco puts a long ball downfield from his own half that bounces on the right edge of the Porto box - but Poulsen can't quite get there in time to get the last touch. No specific total of added minutes have been given - so no-one knows how far off we are from the end.
90'
Time is running out for Leipzig has Bernando concedes a throw-in deep in his own half. Porto press to make something of it, but Keity is able to slip in and steal posession.
89'
D. Reyes enters the game and replaces Y. Brahimi.
And a final change for Porto now as Brahimi is replaced by Reyes.
87'
Keita is very unhappy about being penalised for diving as he clatters to the ground between two Porto men on the edge of the home side's box. The free kick goes the way of Sa, who pumps it downfield and out of danger for the current leaders.
86'
Keita pops it up into the box for Leipzig again, trying to find Poulsen or Sabitzer - but instead, Felipe is there to clean up and leathers the ball downfield - all the way to Gulacsi in fact, who starts the process of a new move for the visitors.
85'
M. Sabitzer gets yellow.
Sabitzer is shown the yellow card now, after he traps and trips Brahmi in midfield.
82'
Keita races onto a deflection outside the Porto box and tries to volley it between defenders - but he sees his own attempt take a bounce and sail wide out of danger. Telles meanwhile has gone down with a knock to the face earned when challenging for the original ball - and he is hauled to the sidelines to recieve medical attention.
81'
It's a soft effort for the hosts, turned in by Telles from their left flank - and Bernando is given space to hammer it away from danger and out for a throw near halfway.
Minute
Description
80'
Klostermann does redeem himself down the other end - he intercedes a long ball downfield that catches the rest of the Leipzig defence unawares and bundles it out before Aboubakar can get to it. Porto corner.
79'
Klostermann is fuming with himself after he gets a flat, loose ball out on the right edge of the Porto box - and opts to go for goal himself, only to send the ball somewhere into the upper tier of the stand behind the net.
78'
Leipzig's free-kick is steered in by Kampl, looking for Sabitzer or Poulsen on the left edge of the box from forty-five yards out - but it skips dead past them, too fast for either to catch.
77'
Danilo Pereira gets yellow.
It's a sharp, neat challenge from Danilo Pereira but he catches Kampl enough to warrant a free-kick - and a booking too.
76'
The brace of changes over the last few minutes has slowed the dynamics of the match somewhat - but Leipzig, through Keita and Upamenco, look to bring the ball back down the centre of the field, away from their own half.
75'
Y. Poulsen enters the game and replaces J. Augustin.
Meanwhile, Leipzig make their final change of the game - with Augustin replaced by Yussuf Poulsen.
72'
M. Pereira enters the game and replaces J. Corona.
Indeed, Jesus is replaced - with Maximiliano Pereira on in his spot.
71'
Indeed, Jesus will be subbed as play picks up again for the moment, with Leipzig earning a throw in the Porto half that Herrera can't create a serious chance from, gifting the hosts the ball back.
69'
A stoppage in play now as Jesus is brought down by a clipped foul on the edge of halfway - and he looks like he will be unable to continue, given the pained expression on his face.
67'
Jesus and Ricardo Pereira thread it down the right side now for Porto - but it fizzles out and neither can make anything tell as Leipzig steer away the danger through Klostermann.
65'
The visitors aren't taking it lying down though - Klostermann sweeps in to pick up a loose pass and makes an inventive run down the right flank before hefting it in field for Sabitzer to try and thread through. He can't though as Felipe sprints out of nowhere and ferries the ball back to halfway.
63'
J. Augustin gets yellow.
Telles was the key man there, with his free-kick weighted absolutely perfectly. Replays show that Pereira was onside - just about - and napping Leipzig defence was undercut by the quick response there.
Leipzig are frustrated by that goal, after they levelled earlier - and it tells as Augustin is somewhat careless with his next challenge, seeing yellow for his troubles.
61'
Danilo Pereira has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Alex Telles.
But he doesn't miss this time! Danilo Pereira finds the back of the net as he makes the connection with a Telles free-kick thirty yards out on the right just inside the box, steering his header low and past Gulacsi into the bottom-right corner. Porto retake the lead - and all of a sudden, they too have sparke into life. It's taken an hour - but both sides are now playing proper good football.
60'
Close from a corner for Porto! Danilo Pereira beats Ricardo Pereira to a nicely curled effort from Andre - but he puts it just over the bar and it lands on the top of the net.
59'
Telles steers his effort too far to the right and it sails out uncontested.
58'
A free-kick to Porto now, thirty yards out to the right, to be taken by Telles - but first, the referee heads to the touchline to give the home manager Sergio Conceicao a warning for his behaviour.
56'
Porto break from the Leipzig attack and engage in a counter of their own - one which spirits the ball smartly down the right wing and then into the box for Aboubakar, who appeals for a penalty as his shot, skied over the bar, is made as he is seemingly pulled by his shirt to the ground by Klostermann.
55'
A quickly taken free-kick for Leipzig on halfway marches them straight back within twenty-five yards of Porto's goal-line and Forsberg and Werner combine to harry the defence even further.
54'
Porto find themselves being pushed back and stretched across their rearguard as Klostermann bounds forward, trying to cut through the gaps. His pass runs wide and loose to the left and Sa gets there first.
52'
Orban goes close with a header from a free-kick as he rises to meet Sabitzer's delivery - but Sa manages to punch it away before the Leipzig captain can get to it.
50'
Leipzig have absolutely roared out of the gate here in the second half - already hauling their pass ratio for the game from mid sixties to 74% in five minutes. They look a vastly different proposition now.
48'
T. Werner has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by M. Sabitzer.
That wasn't in the script for the hosts - as Leipzig equalise through Werner, the substitute making an instant impact as he collects a beauty of a through ball from Sabitzer heading into the Porto box and lobs his shot over Sa's head. All square in Portugal - it's 1-1.
47'
An early chance for Leipzig as the break into the Porto box, playing it around and are only denied when Sabitzer sees his back pass cleaned up by Felipe.
46'
T. Werner enters the game and replaces Bruma.
L. Klostermann enters the game and replaces M. Halstenberg.
The whistle goes and we are back underway for the second half in Portugal. Can Porto and Leipzig serve up something more spicy in the next 45 minutes? We're about to find out.
A change for the visitors at half-time too - the booked Halstenberg has been replaced by Lukas Klostermann.
Whilst Bruma is also replaced, by Timo Werner.
45' +2
Gulacsi pumps it downfield and Porto pick up in midfield - but after a few short passes, the referee blows for half-time!
45' +1
Close for Herrera! The Porto man nearly gets his second as his volley from just outside the box on the right corner spears wide by only a foot or so to the left. He claims a deflection - but none is given and the goal kick proceeds.
45'
Two added minutes on the way and Porto get a throw deep in Leipzig territory.
44'
It's not exactly been a vintage half of European, it must be said - both teams, despite their moments, have made little of decent chances and look somewhat lethargic around their midfield section. Porto are the stronger - but as they stumble the ball out for a throw, they've been far from excellent.
42'
M. Halstenberg gets yellow.
It's a spirited effort from Herrera who whips it in from forty-five yards out on the right with a ball that sails high and wide towards the edge of the box - where Danilo Perreria is a touch too late to hook it back in.
41'
Kampl loses the ball in midfield during a clumsy passage of play from Leipzig - and then Halstenberg is booked for a lunging high boot. Free-kick to Porto.
39'
Danilo Pereira concedes a free-kick in a dangerous spot now, thirty yards out on the left for Leipzig - but they are unable to capitalise with a soft effort wide and the Porto man redeems himself with a smartly-executed counter-move downfield.
37'
Ouch for Telles! The Porto man get his head in the way to stop Bernando tapping back a long cross into the box on the right side - and continues to rub his head from where he found the Leipzig man's jaw.
36'
Aboubakar now looks to run onto a long ball delivered from deep in his own half via Felipe - but Halstenberg beats him there and simply clips it back to the keeper for safety.
34'
Free-kick again now to Porto, this time on Leipzig's left side as Upamecano's boot catches the back of Aboubakar. It's a well-guided effort into the box and over the wall from forty yards out - but Gulasci reads it easily enough and claims unchallenged.
32'
Free-kick to Brahmi now as he is clattered by a heavy-handed slide - with Orban perhaps lucky to avoid a booking. Porto's effort is weak though - and it outruns the attackers straight to Gulacsi.
30'
Offside against Leipzig as they look certain to score - Forsberg tapping in Bernardo's flat cross just ahead of the defence.
28'
Porto deal with the soft effort and both Pereiras combine to flit it around the back and midfield, content to hold it loosely.
26'
Leipzig earn a throw in their own half and look to take it out of danger - and then earn a free-kick after Sabitzer is winded by an elbow from Marcarno under the high ball.
25'
Andre has a second attempt on goal now, down the other end for Porto - but he conencts his header well wide of the mark and can only steer it straight out from the cross of Jesus.
23'
Leipzig are starting to find themselves a bit more in this match in terms of going forward - they shift it wide to their right wing and Keita takes it downfield before a fizzled cross to Sabitzer goes AWOL.
21'
Chance for Leipzig! The German side earn a free-kick which Bruma takes, thirty yards out on the right - and it needs a fingertip touch to the top left corner from Sa to deny him a goal. The best chance of the game for the visitors.
18'
They very nearly make it 2-0 too! Aboubakar runs flat on the left, and collects a poor deflection from Gulacsi - then tries to play it across to Andre who sprays it high and over from close range under pressure.
15'
Porto have probably had the better rub of chances so far, it must be said - but they looked as likely to score as Leipzig at this stage - not very, that is. Still, Marega's legacy before he left the field was the corner that gave them a goal - and the hosts are in control.
13'
André André enters the game and replaces M. Marega.
H. Herrera has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Danilo Pereira.
It's a well-struck corner that flies the gamut of the box and finds Herrera who heads it back out to the central edge. Three Porto men and two Leipzig players get a touch - before Danilo Pereira manages to hook it out to Herrera again on the left who remains unmarked. He drills it low for the right corner - and despite a glance of Gulacsi, it finds the back of the net! Porto have the lead, 1-0 on home turf.
12'
And it's Andre who comes on for Marega as Porto prepare their corner in Leipzig's back-left side.
11'
Marega manages to turn two defenders inside out on the left flank after a through ball for Porto - and he earns a corner. It proves too much for the forward though - and he will be substituted now.
10'
A free-kick to Leipzig just inside the Porto half on the extreme right comes to nothing as Sabitzer fails to turn it in towards the box sharply enough - and then the hosts get one themselves on the right to take the pressure off.
8'
Kampl concedes a free-kick against Porto on halfway now, and the hosts opt to play it back - with Marega still needing treatment on the edges, they are a man down up front.
6'
A stoppage early in play now for Marega to recieve treatment after appearing to catch Augustin in an awkward tackle. He still appears to be somewhat shaken by the early tackle as he came up on goal.
4'
Confusion around the back four for Porto allows some neat play from the visitors to cross the threshold into the box - with Forsberg playing a delightful back-hell flat pass to Augustin. Felipe runs onto a casual pass though as they try to play it wide - and sweeps it out of danger.
3'
A second chance in the opening minutes for Porto as Marega catches a long ball floated down the right flank, only to tumble into the box after a sweeping tackle from Upamecano. The referee waves away any free-kick or penalty appeal and Leipzig ferry it away.
2'
Porto are playing in white and blue stripes tonight, from right to left in this first half - Leipzig are in grey and black.
1'
And we're underway in Portugal! The hosts are the first to test the opppsition defence, with Brahmi bringing it down the left wing into the Leipzig half - but he looses the ball to Halstenberg who taps it back to Gulacsi for safe-keeping.
Orban slots a through-ball to Augustin on the left but it runs too deep and Porto are happy to let it go out for a goal kick.
Good evening and welcome back to the second night of Matchday 4 games in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League Group Stage as Sergio Conceicao’s Porto look for redemption against an RB Leipzig side who handed them a defeat in a five-goal thriller, 3-2 in Germany, just over a fortnight ago. Can the azuis e brancos come up with the goods – and three points to put them in the driving seat for a knockout stage place? Kick-off is just around the corner.
Indeed, tonight’s hosts suffered the ignominy of becoming Leipzig’s first scalp in the Champions League two weeks ago, in the pair’s first ever competitive encounter. In eight games at home against Deutschland opposition though, Porto have never lost in this competition, with five wins and three draws to their name, the last a 3-1 triumph over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the 2014/15 quarter finals.
History is on the side of the visitors as it stands too; 28 of 31 previous instances of a German side claiming four or more points after the first three matches has seen them progress to the Last 16 (in current format since 2003/04). Leipzig currently sit on four points in second place, behind Besiktas and one ahead of Porto in third; a win on the road in Portugal will give them a healthy cushion with two games left to play.
Recent form is against Porto, who aside from a win versus Monaco in late September, have not won in five Champions League games. They do have some unorthodox style going for them; they’re the only side to have scored from throw-in situations in the competition this year and will be aware that Leipzig are yet to score a second-half goal in the tournament.
The teams are out and lined up for Zadok the Priest, the anthem of the Champions League, and we are moments away from kick-off at Estadio do Dragao.
FC PORTO (4-4-2): Sa, Marcano, Telles, Felipe, R Pereira, D Pereira, Brahimi, Jesus,Herrera, Aboubakar, Marega
Subs: Oliveira, M Pereira, Hernani, Casillas, Torres, Andre, Reyes
Aside from that Herrera goal - served up by a lovely Danilo Pereira pass around a messy box and finished with a calmy-poised shot - there isn't much to shout about from either team tonight. Both are on the whole, robust if uninspiring in attack, limp in midfield and anonymous at the back. Even having conceded, Gulasci is arguably Leipzig's best player on the pitch - and Porto's Sa is a strong shout for their own. Half-time in this Group G clash though, it's the hosts with the lead - Porto 1-0 RB Leipzig.
After a lacklustre first forty-five, hopes can't have been high for a good quality second half - but both Leipzeg and Porto found their third and fourth gears to deliver a tussle that lasted way into the final moments. A cheeky Werner lob but the visitors back on level pegging early on in the second half - but Danilo Pereira's header put daylight between the two again soon enough and in injury time, a Maxi Pereira effort put the icing on the cake. Full time in Group G in Portugal, it finishes Porto 3-1 RB Leipzig.
Porto's win this evening puts them back into second place in Group G, four points behind Besiktas and two ahead of Leipzig. The hosts travel to Istanbul in three weeks' time, with slots for the knockout stage still very much up for grabs. As for the visitors, they host a Monaco team who gamely hung on in Turkey this evening for a draw and a point - full well knowing that they'll need to win to keep their hopes alive. Until then, thank you - and goodnight!
