Norway and France draw to advance to quarters
Norway and France are both through to the quarter finals of the UEFA Women's championship, following a 1-1 draw in Helsinki, Sunday.
Norway took an early lead as Lene Storlokken's leg was long enough to redirect a Isabell Herlovsen cross into the goal.
The French levelled in the 16th minute however. Louisa Necib provided a cross from the right and Camille Abile powered it past keeper Hjelmseth for 1-1.
The two sides knew that a draw would be sufficient for both to advance, as the team that would finish in third place would have more points than Group A's number three, Denmark.
France finish their group campaign in second place, Norway in third. Denmark now depend on Monday's Group C games.
