World champions Italy, having managed just one goal in their opening two Group C matches, could turn to a wild card in Zurich on Tuesday in the shape of Antonio Cassano as they try to see off France to reach the Euro 2008 quarters.

at this point, Donadoni, you have nothing to lose. Give the kid a chance. Toni is overrated. he did nothing in the World Cup, and has done nothing in the Euro Cup thus far. International play and league play are two different arenas.

Giorgio, if Cassano plays tomorrow, Italy may end up playing with 10 men. I always was an exemplary player. I do not like dim wits like Cassano. He does not have what I call a "mental balance!"

To be honest, I like Cassano a lot. He is undoubtedly one of the best 3 players in the world to-day. If he is allowed to play, he may just make the difference.
