Argentinian international midfielder Pablo Aimar is set to sign for Portuguese giants Benfica from relegated Spanish First Division side Real Zaragoza.
Nice little pick up for benfica, but what they still need is a quality striker...perhaps portugal's own Pauleta? They also must shore up the defence a bit to perform stronger overall, so that they can beat the corrupt Porto squads and do well in European competitions again.
Da Joner, my goodness! You're cheering for a bunch of losers, Toronto FC in particular. Having lived in Toronto 36 years, I know what they are like. Do they still play at the old Stanley Park, or did they move up to the Varsity Stadium on Bloor St? Don't tell me that they now play in the Skydome (Roger Center now?).

Well, what you know? I thought this guy was hired as Benfica's clown to entertain fans from the sidelines like they do in American Baseball!chakal July 16, 2008 23:35
