KRASNOARMEYSK, Sep 12 (SW) – Five goals of Julie Fleeting have delivered Arsenal Ladies a 4-5 win against Rossiyanka Krasnoarmeysk. Earlier on the day Brondby won their game against 1. FC Femina Budapest easy with 5-1.

The game between the English and Russian champions was interesting untill the end. Arsenal came 4-1 and 5-2 in front. But two goals from Rossiyanka scored by Tatyana Verezubova and Olga Letyushova helped the game to a nerve-wrecking end. Ciara Grant had to leave the field with blood on her face in the battle, but in the end Arsenal kept the 5-4 win.
