IO DE JANEIRO, May 15 (SW) - Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira named his 23-man World Cup squad on Monday, the only surprise being the exclusion of defender Roque Junior.

The 2002 World Cup starting goalkeeper, Marcos, was also excluded for fitness reasons, allowing set-piece and penalty specialist Rogério Ceni to be named as the team's third goalkeeper behind Dida and Júlio César.
