KIF Örebro signs two USA players

KARLSTAD, Mar 28 (SW) - KIF Örebro's head coach Pia Sundhage announced today the signing of two American players, both with experience from US youth national teams .

Kelly Schmedes, forward, and Keeley Dowling, defender, both played with Charlotte Lady Eagles in the North American W-league last season. They will arrive in the beginning of May and stay for the rest of the season. The US national team captain Kristine Lilly has been active in connecting the players with Örebro.
