MALMO, Feb 8 (SW) – Icelandic national team midfielder Dóra Stefánsdóttir joins Malmö FF for the 2006 season. Malmö FF also has strengthened its squad with two young players from Sweden.

Emma Wilhelmsson, one of the best midfielders of the Söderettan, comes from Östers IF and Matilda Åkerberg comes from Gislaved.

Dóra Stefánsdóttir is a 20-year old player from Valur Reykjavik who played 16 international games for the Icelandic national team. Both Jitex and Malmö FF were in the race for the player.
