PRAGUE, Sep 22 (SW) - Czech international Karel Poborsky has been pulled from the first squad of his team Sparta Prague, following public comments aimed at coach Jaroslav Hrebik.

The captain said on Wednesday: "The captain should be the extension of the coach, on the field. But I don't agree with the working methods."

These comments forced Sparta's club board to take severe measures, and the 33-year-old forward will not be able to play in Tuesday's Champions League match with FC Thun.
