TAMPERE, 31 Oct (SW) - Ilves Tampere will stay in the highest Finnish Women's Division (SM Naisten) after a 4-0 win over FC Kuusysi from the town of Lahti. The first leg at Kuusysi Lahti was already won with 3-4 by Ilves. So Ilves Tampere won 8-3 on aggregate.

Because Ilves stays in the Naisten SM, next year there will be obly one new team: Åland United. Åland United is situated on the Åland Islands in the town of Lemlands. Malmin Palloseura (MPS) from Helsinki is relegated to the second level after only scoring two points. Ilves Tampere consolidates it's position eventhough they only score six points this season.
