HELSINKI, 3 Oct (SW) – HJK won their championship match by 3-0, but Ilves Tampere started the game very strongly, after ten minutes they already had three corner kicks. After that HJKplayers woke up.

HJK-players were more determined after this wake-up call. The first goal came from the leftside when Jessica Thorn passed Mari Kulmanen, who could break through and score the 1-0 in the 26th minute.

The second half HJK made some beautifull attac. Again Jessica Thorn passed and this time Eveliina Sarapäa kicked in the 2-0. Thorn couldn’t score herself she hit the post three times. The 3-0 came from a corner kick and was made by Mari Kulmanen again.

HJK had many chances but supurb keeping of Ilves-goalkeeper Paula Myllyloja was preventing a higher score. In the end of the game supersub Hanna Saaranen showed her strength, same van be said about youngsters Susanna Hokkanen (17) and Katja Riihiaho (15). After the final whistle big celebrations followed.
