VARDE, 10 Oct (SW) - Fortuna Hjørring have set aside Varde simple with a 1-7 win. With Varde being the number three in the league before the match the end result gives an impression of the difference between top teams Fortuna Hjørring and Brøndby IF and the rest.

Hjørring had to make a long trip to Varde (westcoast of Denmark). Alison Forman, player of Fortuna said to be prepared to meet a Varde team that will play defensive and will be dangerous in their counter attacks. The game started with Fortuna dominating and creating chances, but it took 26 minutes before Camill Sand scored the first goal with a left foot shot. Then Alison Forman and Johanna Rasmussen increased the lead with 0-2 and 0-3 just before the half time break.

The second half started as the first half ended with good movement in the middle of the park by Fortuna, which hang together well with their attack. Goals started to come, 0-4 Sharolta Nonen, 0-5 Alison Forman, 0-6 Janne Madsen and 0-7 Alison Forman. In the end of the game Sandra Jensen scored out of the second Varde change after she hit in an assist of Louise Svennesen. Over the whole game Fortuna completed the game with a solid effort in the defence and with rhythm in the attack.
