FREIBURG, 20 Nov (SW) – FCR Duisburg has surprisingly lost two points against SC Freiburg. With FFC Frankfurt and Turbine Potsdam losing not too much points, the 2-2 is a blow in the face of FCR Duisburg.

A French goal early in the match and an American goal on the end of the match made Freiburg draw against FCR Duisburg. Duisburg the eternal number three of German Bundesliga football, was frustrated again in their strife to come closer to the top two teams (Turbine and FFC Frankfurt).

Already in the third minute it was Karine Levy that scored the 1-0 for the home side, after a defensive foul of Duisburg three positions combinated fast letting Levy score. The 2-1 was scored by Shelley Thompsonafter combinating with Simone Laudehr and Inka Grings. The pressure of SC Freiburg was a result of dangerous corners and free kicks. It wasn’t a miracle when the 2-2 went in in the 88th minute after a free kick. American Alena Thom scored.
