POTSDAM, 7 Dec (SW) – The differences in the German Bundesliga were once again shown when UEFA Cup champion Turbine Potsdam won their game against number four Bad Neuenahr with 7-1

Potsdam is now in third position in the league with 17 points out of 7 matches. Duisburg is first in the table (21 out of 9) and FFC Frankfurt is second (18 out of 6). Only 389 spectators saw an early goal by Aferdita Podvorica, who again was part of the starting formation because of her good performances in the last matches. After the nice begin it took half an hour until the next goal followed. Petra Wimbersky could make the 2-0 and just six minutes later she scored the third goal outplaying three opponents.

The 3-0 was the half-time result. After the break Conny Pohlers scored the 4-0. In the 73rd minute
Wimbersky scored her third goal of the match. The only goal for Bad Neuenahr was scored by Isabell Bachor two minutes later. The finishing touch was of Cristiane (after a great pass from Anja Mittag) and Conny Pohlers which made the game end in 7-1.

There is just a short break for both teams, because on Sunday Turbine plays in Munich against FC Bayern and Bad Neuenahr plays at home against SC Freiburg. Not less interesting will be the match FFC Frankfurt against Duisburg, which will be played at the same matchday.
