MÜNCHEN, 11 Dec (SW) – Bayern München could not impress Turbine at home. The women from Potsdam went home with a 0-5 win, Conny Pohlers scored all goals.

The weather conditions were bad in München. The temperature was under freezing point, so it was impossible to play on the main field. The second field was good enough to play on, nevertheless the ground was icy and slippery. Good combinations were problematic. After more then twenty minutes there was the first good chance, a header by Jennifer Zietz could be cleared on the line. Two more chances followed, in the 27th minute Conny Pohlers shot next to the goal after a
pass from Petra Wimbersky. Three minutes later Anja Mittag shot the ball right into the arms of Bayern goalkeeper Ulrike Schmetz. München had only one good chance, so the 0-1 by Pohlers was well-earned for Turbine. Some seconds after the 0-1 Sonja Spieler nearly scored the equalizer for Bayern, but she shot went over the goal. Conny Pohlers' second goal followed in the 40th minute, when she used a mistake in the Bavarian Defence and scored out of 12 metres.

In the second half Turbine again played much better than München, but it needed some time for the next goal. In the 73th minute it was again Pohlers that scored the third goal after a pass from Isabell Kerschowski. Pohlers party did not end yet, because she also sored the 0-4 and the 0-5. The sensational playing Pohlers scored the first after a mistake of Goalkeeper Schmetz. Some seconds later she was there to make the fifth goal on a Cristiane cross. With FFC Frankfurt and FCR Duisburg losing points to each other, Turbine did good business.
