Nasty! A painful moment for Aouar, who takes a clip to the heel from Vlasic, and has to receive treatment.
88'
M. Depay has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by J. Ferri.
It was a good cross from Ferri, but the defending was amateur. A nightmare end to Everton's nightmare European campaign.
GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! Depay makes it three! Dire defending from Everton, as Williams misses his header before Holgate loses Depay, who nods in Ferri's cross.
87'
It almost gets worse for Everton, with Depay and Mariano combining brilliantly before the latter gets a shot off. But Pickford is equal to it.
85'
H. Aouar gets yellow.
Aouar picks up a booking for a foul on Baningime.
82'
With Everton down to 10 men, it is now simply a case of damage limitation. It could well get worse for the Toffees in the next 10 minutes or so…
80'
M. Schneiderlin gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
And, just to cap Everton’s night, Schneiderlin has now been sent off. He picked up a second yellow after diving in ridiculously on Ferri.
78'
Rafael gets yellow.
Rafael brings down Lookman right on the cusp of Lyon's area, conceding a free-kick that Sigurdsson delivers. It is an excellent cross but, somehow, none of Williams, Holgate or Calvert-Lewin can make contact.
77'
J. Ferri enters the game and replaces T. Ndombélé.
A final change for Lyon - Ferri replacing NDombele.
76'
H. Aouar has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by M. Depay.
It was clever play from Depay, who stayed composed to find Aouar.
GOOOAAAAALLLL!!! Aouar all-but seals Everton’s fate! A devastating moment for the Toffees as, from a long ball from deep, Mariano gets in. Pickford makes a fine stop, only for the ball to fall to Depay. The ball is worked back to Aouar and, amid dreadful Everton defending, the substitute slots home.
75'
HOW DID THAT MISS? It would not have counted anyway, as the ball had gone out of play, but Holgate may have just produced a candidate for miss of the season. Kenny headed Sigurdsson’s free-kick back to the centre-back, who could only thump the ball against the crossbar from two yards out.

Description
74'
Another attacking change from Unsworth, but it could well be too little too late for Everton, who are now facing a humiliating exit from Europe.
72'
A third and final substitution for Everton, as Lennon makes way for Vlasic.
71'
N. Vlašić enters the game and replaces A. Lennon.
Great defending from Calvert-Lewin, who heads clear to prevent Mariano - with what would have been his first touch - heading home from Depay’s corner.
70'
M. Díaz enters the game and replaces B. Traoré.
That goal will be Traore's last action, as he makes way for Mariano.
68'
B. Traoré has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by T. Ndombélé.
CLOSE! Tenacious play from Schneiderlin sets Lennon away down the left. He cuts the ball back to Lookman, who combines with Calvert-Lewin to tee up Sigurdsson, but his shot goes wide.
NDombele will be credited with the assist, as Schneiderlin's challenge deflected back off the Lyon midfielder.
GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLL!!! LYON LEAD! Well, just as it looked as if Everton were building up some momentum, they go behind. It is Traore - who got the winner last time out - who gets it. Schneiderlin made a decent tackle on NDombele, only for the ball to deflect through to the former Chelsea man, who made no mistake.
67'
STAT - Prior to tonight, Everton have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last eight matches in major European competition.
64'
Everton have now changed their shape, with Sigurdsson moving back into a number 10 role, while Calvert-Lewin will lead the line.
62'
H. Aouar enters the game and replaces N. Fekir.
Likewise, there is also a change for Lyon, as Fekir - who had struggled to get into the game - replaced by Aouar.
61'
D. Calvert-Lewin enters the game and replaces I. Gueye.
While Lyon are certainly looking the more composed of the two sides, Everton have had their chances in the last 10 minutes or so, and Unsworth is now making a much-needed attacking change, with Calvert-Lewin on in place of Gueye.
60'
CLOSE Brilliant from Lookman, who draws in Mendy before getting into Lyon’s area. He drives in a good cross, but Sigurdsson can’t quite make contact.
58'
Schneiderin has become the second Everton player to go into the book, for dissent.
57'
M. Schneiderlin gets yellow.
Big call! Holgate gets stood up by Fekir, who drives into the area. However, the Everton youngster - who conceded a penalty in the reverse fixture at Goodison - gets back to make a desperate challenge, just taking the ball before catching Fekir, and no penalty is awarded.
56'
In what seems an over-the-top reaction from the official, Williams is given a warning for hitting the ball goalwards following Holgate’s foul. There was little petulance in that action from Everton’s captain.
54'
A free-kick now for Everton that Sigurdsson whips in. Holgate wins it and the ball falls to Williams, who slams it home. The referee’s whistle had already gone however, with Holgate having fouled Diakhaby.
52'
Besic concedes possession deep in Everton’s territory, enabling Traore to drive at Everton’s defensive line. He feeds Cornet, but the winger’s strike lacks any power.
49'
Baningime makes an excellent tackle, which should see Everton counter, but once more the move breaks down because of the sluggish Gueye who, at the moment, is hindering the Toffees.
47'
CHANCE! Well, Everton should be leading! Good play from Baningime puts the visitors on the front foot. The ball is worked wide to Lennon, whose cross is nodded down by Lookman. Gueye is on hand to meet it 10 yards out, but his strike is poor and lacking any power, and Lopes makes a simple stop.
46'
As expected, no changes from Everton - or Lyon - at the interval, as the visitors get the second-half underway.
45' +7
A huge mix up between Pickford and Williams very nearly sees Traore get in. Luckily for Everton, nothing comes of it.
45' +3
CHANCE! Schneiderin puts Baningime in trouble with a sloppy pass, and Fekir pounces to feed the ball into Traore, whose strike is well-saved by Pickford.
45' +1
There will be a minimum of seven minutes added time.
45'
There will now be even more emphasis on Williams - Everton’s captain this evening - to organise the visitors’ ramshackle defence. As I type, Marcelo latches onto a corner from Depay, but directs his header wide.
43'
M. Bešić enters the game and replaces C. Martina.
With Besic on following that lengthy stoppage, Everton have had to change shape somewhat. The Bosnia midfielder will fill in at right-back, with Kenny switching to left-back.
42'
Martina is still on the pitch, as the medical staff work to make sure he is taken from the field of play safely. Eventually, the defender is placed onto the stretcher, and play is now set to continue.
38'
A real worry here for Martina, as he receives extensive treatment following a clattering collision with Cornet, and the full back will now be taken off on a stretcher with a neck brace. It appears Muhamed Besic will come on in his place.
36'
SAVE! Fekir strikes goalwards from a free-kick, but Pickford stands his ground to parry the ball up and away from danger.
35'
Gueye was one of Everton’s stars last season, but he has been a passenger in this game so far. His use of the ball has been torrid, consistently picking the safe option, which has led to Everton’s attacks becoming stagnant and predictable once they reach the final third. With Baningime and Schneiderlin also starting, it seems strange that Unsworth has gone with so many holding players.
33'
CLOSE! Awful defending from Martina allows Cornet to run at - and eventually get the better of - Baningime. The winger’s cross is sliced goalwards by Holgate, but fortunately for Everton Pickford makes the save. However, it would not have counted, with the officials deeming Cornet had taken the ball out of play.
31'
Waste! Kenny makes headway and puts in a good cross, which Marcelo gets to ahead of Sigurdsson. Gueye picks up the scraps, but instead of putting the ball back in, goes backwards, and the move ends up breaking down.
29'
Lyon are unbeaten at home in their last 10 games across all competitions, and they are starting to turn up the pressure on Everton now. Rafael gets free down the right and delivers a fine cross, but Fekir is unable to keep his volley down.
27'
STAT - Everton have made the worst start of any English team in the Europa League group stages, picking up just one point from their three games.
24'
DOUBLE SAVE! The resulting corner is taken quickly, with Traore meeting Depay’s cross. Pickford gets down to keep out the forward’s header, before the ball is played back in by Fekir, whose cross-cum-shot is tipped away by Everton’s goalkeeper.
22'
Sigurdsson is working hard to hold up the play, but Lyon’s defence aren’t finding it too hard to isolate the Iceland International at the moment. That allows the hosts to launch another attack, and only a last-ditch header from Kenny prevents Fekir nodding in.
20'
Neat play from Lyon, with Depay getting in down the left. Having got the better of Kenny, the Dutchman drills in a low cross, but Holgate is well-placed to clear.
19'
STAT - Six of Lyon's last seven home meetings with English sides have resulted in a draw, losing the other. They’ve not won at home vs English opposition since November 1967, beating Tottenham 1-0 in the Cup Winners’ Cup.
17'
Another patient move from Everton, as Lennon is found by Kenny. The winger cuts it back to Sigurdsson, but he cannot direct his effort on target.
14'
In those situations, it is vital that one of Everton’s midfielders get up in support of their frontline. However, none of Baningime, Gueye or Schneiderlin are naturally attacking players.
12'
Good play from Lookman down the left, as he combines smartly with Sigurdsson. However, the former Swansea man had drifted wide meaning that, by the time Lookman had got in behind Lyon’s defence, nobody in an Everton shirt was on hand to meet his cross.
10'
Everton’s primary issue all campaign has been the lack of a striker, and that isn’t proving any less of a problem so far this evening. Sigurdsson often deputised up front during his time at Swansea, but there is no movement in behind Everton’s record signing, meaning there is no outball for the visitors’ defence.
7'
C. Martina gets yellow.
Poor play from Martina, who goes into the referee’s book for a clumsy foul on Cornet.
5'
CLOSE! Depay whips in a great cross from the resulting free-kick, but Diakhaby can’t quite get on the end of it.
4'
A mistake from Baningime allows Fekir to lead a Lyon counter, and Martina has little choice but to bring the France playmaker - who opened the scoring for the Ligue 1 side at Goodison - down on the edge of the area.
3'
A combative start from the visitors, with Gueye and Baningime pressing high on Lyon’s midfielders. The ball is played back to Williams, who receives a chorus of boos from the Lyon fans following his actions in the previous encounter.

KICK OFF! We are up and running in Lyon!
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the Europa League Group E clash between Lyon and struggling Everton. Stick right here for all the action as it happens from Parc OL.
It has been nothing short of a horror show for Everton this season, with Ronald Koeman having already been shown the door and David Unsworth currently in temporary charge. Koeman’s final European fixture at Goodsion Park was the first meeting between these two sides on match day three, with Lyon claiming the points in a dramatic 2-1 win that has left Everton on the verge of an early exit from this competition.
TEAM NEWS…
With the Toffees bottom, on just one point, a defeat would see them drop out of the competition should Atalanta beat Apollon Limassol in the group’s other game. And with Everton sitting 18th in the Premier League, it seems that Unsworth has chosen to prioritise the club’s domestic efforts rather than go all out to stay in this competition - something that may not appease the huge numbers of Evertonians who have made the trip to Lyon.
With no Wayne Rooney, Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka or Michael Keane in Everton’s travelling squad, it is a somewhat makeshift lineup that is to take the field against Lyon, who sit second in Group E.
It’s a typically strong lineup from Lyon boss Bruno Genesio, who will be looking for his side to match their progress in this competition from last season, when they were beaten by Ajax in the semi-finals. Bertrand Traore - a winger by trade - played for the Dutch giants in that two-legged encounter, and starts up top for the hosts this evening having netted the winner at Goodison two weeks ago.
A very different approach from Unsworth, who has lost both of his games as caretaker boss so far. He has gone with a 4-3-3, with Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin likely to flank youngster Beni Baningime, who has impressed in Everton’s last two fixtures. In a makeshift attack, meanwhile, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks set to play as a false nine, with the only other recognised striker - Dominic Calvert-Lewin - on the bench. Sandro, signed from Malaga in the off season, is yet to make one of Unsworth’s match day squads.
For all the negativity currently surrounding Everton, a win today - however unlikely that may seem - could just kickstart their campaign and, potentially, Unsworth’s possibilities of landing the manager’s role on a full-time basis.
Everton’s main issue is that their midfield three are so deep, meaning Lookman and Sigurdsson are completely isolated. Unsworth should look to change that at half time and introduce some drive into that area, but given he has now been forced into a change due to Martina’s injury, it seems unlikely he will make another change so soon.
HALF TIME: Lyon 0 Everton 0.
It has been, in all truth, a poor encounter so far. Everton have worked resiliently defensively, but have offered next to nothing at the other end, and it seems Lyon will only have to move into second gear to find a way through.
Atalanta are currently winning in Group E’s other game, meaning that - should things stay as they stand in that game - a defeat for Everton would see the Toffees drop out of Europe.
FULL TIME: Lyon 3 Everton 0.
Everton are out of Europe! It has been a dreadful campaign, and it is now five defeats in a row across all competitions for the Toffees, for the first time in 10 years.
Everton started the second half well, but lacked the bite up top, and Lyon simply swept them aside, with matters made worse when Schneiderlin saw red late on.
Well, that's all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
