The ball falls kindly for Antonio and allows him to get away a shot from just outside of the Huddersfield penalty area, but he can't hit it well enough and sends his effort bouncing wide of the far post. He immediately screams for a corner, but the referee doesn't agree and waves play on.
87'
Two bouncing crosses are fired into the West Ham box, but both are well dealt with by the home side. The ball then bobbles over to Ince on the edge of the penalty area, but his quick shot isn't a particularly good one and is easily dealt with by Hart at the near post.
85'
The visitors are trying their hardest to put pressure on the West Ham defence, but they're struggling to carve out decent chances on goal. The pace of the game has slowed down somewhat, and that will certainly suit the home side as they attempt to hold on to their two-goal lead.

Huddersfield have made one final attacking alteration, with Laurent Depoitre coming on to replace Billing.

79'
Chance for Mounie! The striker, who hasn't had the best of nights so far, is able to get a shot away from the edge of the box after Obiang is easily dispossessed. The strike is a good one, but Hart is there to push it round the post and behind for a corner.

A. Ayew has scored a goal for West Ham United!
GOAL! It's another for West Ham! A bouncing corner in from the right flank isn't dealt with at all well enough by the Huddersfield defence, who allow the ball to bobble over to Fonte. The centre-back can't get a decent shot away, but Ayew is there to poke the ball into the back of the net from close range before it can be cleared.
76'
Carroll is almost set up with an excellent opportunity to double West Ham's lead with a far post header, but Antonio's cross can't quite reach the striker and is instead cut out by a vital interception from Malone.
75'
A. Sabiri enters the game and replaces E. Kachunga.
Huddersfield have made their second alteration of the game, with Abdelhamid Sabiri coming on to replace Elias Kachunga, who was very quiet this evening.

Antonio is almost able to break into the left-hand side of the Huddersfield penalty area as he tries to latch onto a bouncing ball, but Lossl reads the danger well and rushes out to deal with it.
72'
Pedro Obiang has scored a goal for West Ham United! Assist by A. Ayew.
It was Ayew who set up Obiang after cutting in nicely, but Huddersfield will be incredibly frustrated at having gone behind in such unfortunate fashion. The ball smashed off Zanka's back and completely wrong-footed Lossl.
GOAL! West Ham have taken the lead! Obiang picks up the ball just outside of the Huddersfield penalty area and quickly unleashes a thumping strike. It looks as if it's going to be easily dealt with by Lossl, but the effort takes a terrible deflection off Zanka that sends it crashing off the inside of the post and into the back of the net.
70'
West Ham win another free-kick over on the left wing, gifting them a great chance to whip a cross into the box. Cresswell's ball in is a great one and should result in an opportunity on goal, but Fonte's touch is dreadful and pokes the ball straight into the hands of Lossl.
68'
Space opens up for Mooy and allows the Australian to power through the middle of the pitch before shooting, but he's unable to test Hart with his 25-yard effort. Huddersfield are certainly starting to do better now.
67'
West Ham aren't pushing forward with the same success as they managed to find earlier in the game. Once again, they're unable to break through the stubborn Huddersfield back line, forcing Collins into shooting from distance and making life very easy for Lossl.
65'
A dangerous low cross rolls into the West Ham penalty area and looks certain to set up someone to shoot, but Zabaleta darts into the box and cuts out the danger at the vital moment with a great interception.
64'
A. Ayew enters the game and replaces J. Hernández.
And now West Ham have made a change of their own, with Hernandez making way for Andre Ayew. The home fans don't seem too happy with that decision.

Huddersfield have made their first alteration of the evening, with Scott Malone coming on to replace Lowe.

62'
Van La Parra muscles his way down the right flank and does well to win Huddersfield's first corner of the night. It's swung in by Mooy and almost finds a team-mate at the near post, but Collins does well to head the ball away from danger before anyone can unleash a shot.
60'
A looping cross into the Huddersfield box should be easily dealt with by Zanka, but the defender scuffs his attempted clearance and sends it behind for a corner. Luckily for the Dane, the set-piece isn't well executed by the home side and the danger is comfortably cleared.
58'
Mounie initially looks as if he's going to be able to test Hart as he darts through the West Ham back line and into the penalty area, but his run forward is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is immediately raised.
56'
Great opportunity for Kouyate! A lovely curling cross sails into the Huddersfield penalty area and picks out Hernandez in a promising position. The striker quickly tees up Kouyate with a clever flick, and the midfielder then fires a low strike just wide of the near post.
54'
The game is starting to open up a little bit more now, and it seems to be favouring Huddersfield. This time it's Billing who receives the ball in a promising position before trying to beat Hart from distance, but the goalkeeper does well to stop the midfielder's effort with a decent diving save.

48'
West Ham push forward quickly from the restart and win themselves a free-kick in a decent position. Hernandez steps up and shoots from it, but his effort is a poor one and flies high over the top of the crossbar.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +2
West Ham lose the ball in the middle of the pitch, allowing Van La Parra to burst forward on a quick counter-attack. The Dutchman gets himself into a good position just outside of the box and then sets up Ince, who manages to get a shot away but can't beat Collins just in front of him.
45'
P. Billing gets yellow.
Zabaleta and Billing battle for the ball in the middle of the pitch, and the Dane ends up striking the wing-back with a flailing arm. The referee isn't too keen on the midfielder's conduct, and he shows him a yellow card as a result.
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.

Pedro Obiang is barged off the ball by Billing, resulting in a free-kick for West Ham in a promising position 30 yards away from goal. Cresswell steps up and shoots, but his effort on goal is poor and sails comfortably wide.
41'
West Ham seem to be enjoying themselves over on the left flank, where Antonio and Cresswell are showing good understanding with one another. The latter gets himself into a good position and tries to skip through a sea of white and blue shirts, but he's unable to get the better of them and has the ball poked away.
39'
What a miss by Kouyate! More good play by Antonio sets him up to swing a wonderful cross into the middle of the visitors' penalty area. Zanka is put under pressure by Carroll and can only clear the ball as far as Kouyate, who quickly shoots but completely scuffs his first-time effort well wide of the goal.
37'
Antonio cuts inside from the left wing and becomes the latest player to try and test Lossl from distance, but, like Carroll's shot a few moments ago, his effort is deflected wide of the goal. The resulting corner almost manages to find the head of Carroll, but, once again, Huddersfield are just about able to come out on top.
35'
Antonio and Carroll link up well just outside of the Huddersfield penalty area, setting up the striker to unleash a long-range shot that deflects behind for a corner. The set-piece is another good one and causes problems for the visitors, who are just about able to deal with the danger at the third attempt.
33'
Cresswell picks up the ball midway inside the Huddersfield half of the pitch and quickly curls a cross into the middle of the visitors' box. It looks set to find Carroll, but Billing is just about able to get a head on the ball to stop it from doing so.
31'
Chris Lowe doesn't clear the danger quickly enough, allowing Zabaleta to close him down and momentarily win the ball. He then charges into the right-hand side of the Huddersfield penalty area and puts the full-back under pressure, but he ends up fouling him before he can regain possession.
29'
The second corner is sent in slightly lower and eventually finds its way over to Carroll. The striker spins and curls a cross into the heart of the box, where Cheikhou Kouyate immediately goes down to the ground. He quickly screams for a penalty, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
28'
Once again, Antonio does brilliantly to skip down the right flank before winning his side yet another corner. Aaron Cresswell steps up and curls a deep cross towards Carroll, who meets the ball well before sending a deflected header a few yards wide of the goal.
26'
Huge chance for Collins! The cross in from the free-kick is a great one and manages to pick out Collins in front of goal, but the defender can't quite get the better of Jonas Lossl with his downward header towards the bottom corner.
25'
M. Jørgensen gets yellow.
Antonio embarks on another excellent run as he sprints down the left flank and into a wonderful position, where he's clattered into by Mathias Zanka Jorgensen and wins a free-kick for West Ham in a very dangerous area.
23'
Hernandez twists and turns on the edge of the Huddersfield penalty area before eventually teeing up Fonte, who then wins another corner for the home side. It fails to result in a chance on goal though, as the visitors do well to defend the danger.
21'
Huddersfield are starting to come into the game now, and they're beginning to move the ball around nicely inside the West Ham half of the pitch. Space is starting to open up out wide, where the two full-backs are doing well to get forward.
19'
Another attempted West Ham attack breaks down, and this time the visitors counter-attack down the right flank through Tommy Smith. The captain gets himself into a good position and crosses, but he can't pick out Mounie and Jose Fonte manages to clear the danger without too many problems.
17'
Zabaleta loses the ball over on the right flank, allowing Huddersfield to counter-attack quickly. They initially manage to do so well as Ince powers forward before trying to pick out Van La Parra, but his pass is overhit and fails to set up the Dutch winger.
15'
It's been a difficult opening quarter of an hour for Huddersfield, who are struggling to find a way out of their own half of the pitch. West Ham have started really strongly and are unlucky not to be ahead, with Carroll looking particularly bright on his return to the side.
13'
Javier Hernandez hits the crossbar! Antonio skips down the right flank on a wonderful run as he easily beats two players. He then tees up Hernandez with a clever cut-back, and the Mexican quickly smashes the woodwork with a brilliant strike that looked set to put the home side in front.
12'
Billing is eventually able to get back to his feet and the game gets underway once again. A lofted pass is fired over the West Ham defence and towards Mounie, but the striker is beaten to the ball by James Collins and the hosts easily hold on.
10'
West Ham keep putting plenty of early pressure on the Huddersfield back line as they search for an early goal. They do well to win themselves a corner, which momentarily causes problems for the visitors, but Steve Mounie is able to clear the danger before clattering into Philip Billing, leaving the Dane in a heap on the floor.
8'
Huddersfield patiently work the ball around deep down the left wing as they push forward on their first attacking move of the evening. Tom Ince is eventually able to penetrate the box and shoot, but he's closed down quickly and can't test Hart.
6'
Zabaleta is caught late by Rajiv van La Parra, resulting in a free-kick for West Ham inside their own half of the pitch. Joe Hart blasts it forward and finds Carroll, but, despite his best efforts, the striker can't find a team-mate with his downward header on the edge of the penalty area.
4'
Pablo Zabaleta gets himself into a good position over on the right wing and quickly swings a cross into the visitors' box. Once again, Carroll gets the better of his marker before reaching the ball and getting a shot away, but he can't keep his volleyed strike down and sends it high over the top of the crossbar.
2'
Early chance for West Ham! A lofted pass flies into the Huddersfield penalty area and finds Andy Carroll, who brings down the ball brilliantly and then fizzes a fierce pass across the face of goal. It looks set to find Michail Antonio at the far post, but the forward can't quite reach the ball with his outstretched leg.

We're off! Huddersfield get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between West Ham United and Huddersfield Town at the London Stadium.
Heading into the season, not even the most optimistic Huddersfield fan would have predicted that their side would be in a position to go joint-top with four games on the board. But here they are, unbeaten in the Premier League and with the opportunity to move equal on points with both Manchester clubs if they’re able to see off a West Ham United side rooted to the bottom of the table.
It really has been an excellent start to the season for Huddersfield, who momentarily shot to the top of the Premier League thanks to a 3-0 thumping of Crystal Palace on the opening weekend. They then saw off Newcastle United in a hard-fought encounter back at the John Smith’s Stadium, before Southampton were frustrated in a goalless draw just before the international break.
The Terriers are the only side yet to concede a single goal, and they’re exactly the sort of team Slaven Bilic will not have wanted to face right now. Without any points on the board after suffering three disastrous defeats, the Croatian is perilously close to being sacked, and another loss here today could result in his two-year spell at the club coming to an end.
Tonight’s game marks West Ham’s first home outing of the season after they were temporarily forced off by the World Athletic Championships, and Bilic will be desperately hoping that the crowd can get behind his players and help them to a much-needed victory. With West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur to come in their next two games, they desperately need to pick up a positive result this evening.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
West Ham United substitutes: Adrian, Masuaku, Byram, Ogbonna, Rice, Ayew, Sakho.
West Ham United XI (3-4-2-1): Hart; Collins, Reid, Fonte; Zabaleta, Kouyate, Obiang, Cresswell; Antonio, Hernandez; Carroll.
Huddersfield Town substitutes: Coleman, Hadergjonaj, Malone, Hefele, Sabiri, Williams, Depoitre.
Huddersfield Town XI (4-2-3-1): Lossl; Smith, Zanka, Schindler, Lowe; Mooy, Billing; Kachunga, Ince, Van La Parra; Mounie.
Slaven Bilic has decided to make five changes to the West Ham side that started the defeat against Newcastle United just before the international break, with the most notable inclusion being Andy Carroll, who is set to make his first first start since April in place of Andre Ayew. Elsewhere, Winston Reid, Jose Fonte, Cheikhou Kouyate and Pedro Obiang have come into the starting line-up to replace Angelo Ogbonna, Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Edimilson Fernandes.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield boss David Wagner has named an unchanged side to the one that featured in their last league outing, with record signing Steve Mounie once again leading the line.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: WEST HAM UNITED 0-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
It's been a positive game for West Ham so far, with the home side looking the most likely of the two teams to go ahead. They've moved the ball around nicely and have caused problems for Huddersfield inside the box, where Carroll has made a nuisance of himself with his strength and aerial ability. The visitors have done well to hold on though, and Lossl hasn't had to deal with too much thanks to decent performances from Zanka and Chris Schindler.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: WEST HAM UNITED 2-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
That's a victory that West Ham desperately needed to pick up, and it's one that's seen them finally put some points on the board. They were arguably the better of the two sides this evening and deserve to leave with their first win of the season, largely thanks to the effort put in by Carroll, who didn't score but thoroughly impressed on his return to the starting line-up.
