Free-kick in a decent position for Palace. Van Aanholt steps up to take it, but his effort is fired straight at Lossl who gathers with ease.
90'
There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played here.
88'
J. Puncheon gets yellow.
Not long to go here at Selhurst Park. Palace are still pressing for a late goal, but they are struggling to create any real goalscoring chances and Huddersfield are defending comfortably, whilst looking to break on the counter themselves.
Jason Puncheon is the first Palace player to be shown a yellow card here, he blatantly pulled Billing back as he looked to break on the counter-attack.
86'
R. van La Parra enters the game and replaces S. Mounié.
There will be no hat-trick for Mounie this afternoon, as David Wagner makes his third and final substitution of the game. The striker is replaced by Rajiv van La Parra.
84'
The home supporters have started to make their way to the exits, a very disappointing start to the season for Palace and their new manager. Next up for Palace is Liverpool away, before they face Swansea at home.
81'
The Huddersfield traveling supporters are loving what they have seen from their side today and rightly so! It has been a superb performance by the Terriers and it will give them plenty of confidence for the rest of the season.
78'
J. Tomkins enters the game and replaces T. Fosu-Mensah.
S. Mounié has scored a goal for Huddersfield Town! Assist by C. Quaner.
GOOOAAALLL! HUDDERSFIELD MAKE IT THREE! Steve Mounié has his second goal of the game and the Terriers third of the match. A dream start on their return to the Premier League! It was a simply goal, straight from their goal-kick, once again the Palace defence make a mistake. The ball came straight to Quaner, who pulled the ball back for Mounie on the run, who slots home from the edge of the box. What a performance from the Terriers. As it stands, Huddersfield are top of the league!
The substitute made sure he got on the end of the long ball, and Quaner then looked up and picked out his teammate with a perfect pass and the striker made no mistakes with his strike.
Palace make their second substitution of the game, with Timothy Fosu-Mensah the player coming off for the hosts and he is replaced by James Tomkins.
77'
HE SHOULD'VE SCORED! A great chance for Dann to pull a goal back for Palace. The corner came into the box and made it all the way to Dann at the far post, completely unmarked, but he fires his volley high over the bar.
76'
Palace are starting to through more players forward now, but still Huddersfield are defending well and don't look like conceding at the moment.
Minute
Description
74'
The pace of the game has reduced dramatically now, the substitutions by David Wagner have helped Town reduce the pace of the game and give themselves some breathing space, before a suspected long period of sustained pressure by Palace as they attempt to get something out of this game.
73'
S. Mounié gets yellow.
Another yellow card for a Huddersfield player, this time it is shown to striker Steve Mounié for bringing Loftus-Cheek down, it was good tracking back by the forward, but his tackle on the Palace midfielder was slightly rash.
72'
C. Quaner enters the game and replaces K. Palmer.
Another Huddersfield substitution as Kasey Palmer comes off and he is replaced by Collin Quaner.
68'
Loftus-Cheek in a central role has really made a difference to Palace, he just needs some help from his team-mates now. Zaha is another Palace player who has played well here today but there have been too many errors and mistakes which Huddersfield have happily taken advantage of.
66'
Less than half an hour to play here at Selhurst Park and the visitors remain in front and pretty comfortable. Palace need to pull one back soon if they are to stand a chance of gaining anything from this game. This is not the result the home supporters will have expected today.
63'
CHANCE HUDDERSFIELD! Mounie should have made it three-nil to the visitors! The three Palace centre-backs kept a high-line and Mounie did well to beat the offside flag, he was through on goal with just the keeper to beat. However, he was too slow in making his mind up and this time allowed Fosu-Mensah to get back and produce a great tackle to clear the danger. Poor defending again by the Eagles.
62'
Excellent play by Zaha down the left wing, he has the beating of Williams at right-back and he whipped a great ball into the box looking for Benteke. However, the striker was well-marked and he couldn't get anywhere near the ball and he was the only Palace player in the box, so Huddersfield can easily clear the danger.
60'
K. Palmer gets yellow.
The second yellow card of the game is shown to Kasey Palmer, for a late challenge on his former Chelsea teammate Loftus-Cheek.
58'
This is much better from Palace in the last few minutes. They are finally starting to play their own football and create chances of their own, with Lossl making a couple of saves in the last few minutes.
57'
D. Williams enters the game and replaces T. Smith.
Huddersfield make their first substitution of the game, with skipper Tommy Smith who is on a yellow card and looked dangerously close to receiving another, is replaced by Danny Williams.
55'
WHAT A SAVE! Lossl produces a phenomenal diving save to deny Benteke from the resulting corner. The striker rose highest in the box, with no defender near him. However, Lossl was on his toes and pulled off a brilliant save.
54'
GREAT TACKLE! Zaha is almost through on goal, he gets past Smith who appears to foul the Palace man. However, luckily for Smith, Lowe is on hand to make a superb sliding tackle to clear the danger. Smith is already on a yellow card and he is perhaps lucky not to receive another there.
53'
STAT: Huddersfield's last top-flight win was in November 1971 against Brian Clough's Derby - they subsequently endured a 22-game winless run.
50'
Loftus-Cheek has now dropped into a more central position, with Andros Townsend moving out to the wing. The on-loan Chelsea man made a driving run at the Town defence, laid the ball off to Townsend who whipped a low ball into the box looking for Benteke but it narrowly out of the reach of the Palace striker. Zaha is lurking at the far post and with better anticipation he would've been able to tap the ball into the back of the net.
48'
CHANCE HUDDERSFIELD! Chris Lowe with an effort from long-range which forces Hennessey into making a good save, the rebound then falls to Mounie in the box but he fires his effort high over the bar, perhaps he should have taken the shot on the volley first time.
47'
Early corner for Huddersfield here. Smith played a lofted ball over the top of Palace defence for Mounie who won a corner. The corner is played short by Mooy and Smith, but Palace defend better here and clear the danger well.
46'
A. Townsend enters the game and replaces L. Milivojević.
The second half is underway! Can Palace mount a comeback or will Huddersfield make it a dream return to the top-flight of English football?
Palace have made a substitution ahead of the second half here at Selhurst Park. Luka Milivojević is the player who has made way, he is replaced by Andros Townsend.
45' +3
That's the half-time whistle!
45' +2
What a challenge by Smith to deny Zaha! A late surge by Palace at the end of the first half and Zaha is through on goal from a wide position but the Town right-back does brilliantly to get back and make the sliding challenge to put the ball out of play. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
45'
There will be a minimum of two minutes of added time played here.
44'
Decent header by Benteke from a Palace corner, however it goes well wide of Lossl's goal and doesn't trouble the keeper. Zaha ducked out of the way of the header, but he perhaps should've tried to flick the ball goalwards.
41'
Not long to go now until the half-time whistle and the visitors comfortably lead two-nil, with Palace still struggling to create any chances to get back into the game. The centre midfield duo of Billing and Mooy are playing extremely well in the heart of midfield, creating chances, defending well and getting plenty of touches on the ball.
39'
STAT: The Terriers were only the 14th highest scorers in the Championship last season. That doesn't matter today though as they've already got two goals here in their first game back in the top-flight. An opening day victory for the Terriers would be a superb start.
37'
CHANCE PALACE! Zaha with a huge opportunity to pull a goal back for the hosts. Zaha was played through on goal, slightly wide of goal and he fired a low shot at goal, which appeared to force Lossl into a great save. However, the officials fail to pick up on the keepers save and a goal-kick is awarded. He really should have scored there!
34'
Huddersfield keeper Jonas Lossl hasn't had a save to make yet, as Palace have struggled to create anything going forward. The home supporters are not happy with how their side are performing at the moment, with the Terriers comfortably on top at the moment with their two-nil lead.
32'
Another Huddersfield chance! Once again it came from a cross into the box and Nicolai Jorgensen should really have hit the target. Mooy again with the corner, Jorgensen gets up highest, but heads wide. Poor marking again by Palace.
30'
ANOTHER HUDDERSFIELD CHANCE! Ward gets caught on the wrong side of Ince, the Terriers' new boy is through on goal. However, Ward does brilliantly to dive in and make the recovering tackle. That challenge needed to be timed to perfection to stop Ince from making it three-nil!
28'
T. Smith gets yellow.
The visitors had been on top for a while before scoring, getting much further forward and looking the most dangerous side and their dominance has now paid off! The Palace supporters are shocked at what has just happened in front of their eyes.
Huddersfield skipper Smith, is the first player here to be shown a yellow card for an accumulation of fouls.
26'
S. Mounié has scored a goal for Huddersfield Town! Assist by A. Mooy.
Mooy whipped the ball into the box with pace and his teammate did brilliantly to get ahead of his marker and fire a perfect header into the Palace goal.
GOOOALLL! HUDDERFIELD DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! The Terriers record transfer signing, Steve Mounié has put Huddersfield in dream land here! Once again it was a cross into the box, this time Mounie got above his marker and powered a header into the back of the net. It left Hennessey rooted to the spot. What a start!
23'
J. Ward is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
Excellent play by Aaron Mooy down the left flank, twisting and turning to beat Joel Ward and then gain a corner for his side. Town have been the better side in the last five minutes or so and their dominance is starting to show.
GOOOAAALLL! HUDDERSFIELD LEAD! Their first ever Premier League goal, which has given them the lead here at Selhurst Park! Unfortunately for Palace's Joel Ward it has gone down as an own goal. It was Ward who conceded the corner as well. It was a well-worked corner straight to the back post, Zanka diverts the ball back across goal, Ward is in the way, but can do nothing as the ball ricochets into the net. Poor defending by Palace but what a start for Town!
20'
Another good strike at goal by Huddersfield, this time it is Billing who unleashed a powerful shot at goal from the edge of the box, but once again it is straight at the Palace keeper. Either side of the goalkeeper and that just might have been heading into the back of the net!
19'
MATCH STAT: Since 2008-09, only four newly promoted sides have won on the opening day in the Premier League. All four, like Huddersfield, had won promotion via the play-offs.
17'
Decent effort at goal by Kasey Palmer. The Town midfielder made a driving run from the heart of the Town midfield, but his shot at goal was straight at Hennessey after being put under pressure from the Palace defence.
15'
Good counter-attack by the visitors! It was a great pass into Ince from Phillip Billing, and the former Palace player pulled the ball back across goal, but Scott Dann slides in to clear the ball. Lovely move from the visitors who now have a corner, which comes to nothing.
14'
Huddersfield are well supported here at Selhurst Park, with plenty of fans making the trip from Yorkshire to the capital. So far they are seeing a positive display from their side, despite a lot of Palace possession, they haven't threatened the Town goal.
12'
The visitors are certainly not afraid to put their foot in here, the referee has already awarded quite a few free-kicks to Palace in the middle of the pitch for late challenges. Town skipper Smith, is now being spoken to by the referee regarding the amount of fouls.
11'
There is still an excellent pace to the game, but Palace have now started to dominate possession in the middle of the pitch. However, the Terriers are closing their opponents down quickly and cutting out the space to exploit their defence, keeping Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Wilfried Zaha under wraps so far.
9'
Crystal Palace have lost three of their last four opening-day matches in the Premier League. As the Eagles begin their ninth Premier League campaign, with Frank de Boer the seventh different man to have been in charge on the opening day of the season. Plenty of familar faces in this Palace team today, with the new manager expected to make more signings before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.
7'
Huddersfield have the first corner of the game, but the set piece is too heavy and it allows Hennessey to command his area and claim the ball. Just moments later, Palace counter-attack and win a corner of their own through Christian Benteke. Once again, the corner comes to nothing.
5'
Both teams are struggling to put together a period of sustained possession at the moment, it is end to end at the moment with both teams trying to move forward with pace and grab an early advantage.
2'
The atmosphere is electric here at a packed-out Selhurst Park, both supporters are getting behind their teams straight from the off!
WHAT A CHANCE! Tom Ince has a fantastic opportunity to open the scoring for the Terriers just minutes into the game! The Town skipper Tommy Smith did well down the right flank, then Elias Kachunga managed to pick an unmarked Ince out in the box with his cross, but the wingers volley is straight at Wayne Hennessey! A comfortable save for the Palace keeper, but an early warning there for the hosts.

We're underway!
Hello and welcome to our live match commentary of the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and newly promoted Huddersfield Town.
Crystal Palace host Premier League new boys Huddersfield Town today at Selhurst Park, both managers are set to make their Premier League managerial debut. Frank de Boer joined the club over the summer to replace Sam Allardyce, who helped the Eagles survive the drop last season.
Terriers boss David Wagner will also be taking charge of his first Premier League game, in what will be only the second time in the last 13 seasons that two managers face one another in their maiden Premier League games, after last season's opening day between Claude Puel and Walter Mazzarri.
They will come up against a new face in their opening fixture, with the Terriers return to the top flight of English football, after they beat Reading on penalties in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final in May.
HUDDERSFIELD SUBS: Malone, Coleman, van La Parra, Daniel Williams, Depoitre, Quaner, Hefele.
TEAM NEWS: Three new arrivals get their first starts for Palace this afternoon. Timothy Fosu-Mensah only completed his loan move from Manchester United a few days ago, but he goes straight into the starting XI. Jairo Riedewald, who De Boer brought from Ajax for £8 million, also goes straight into the Eagles defence. Ruben Loftus-Cheek's is also included in the starting line-up.
TEAM NEWS: David Wagner has handed four of Town’s summer recruits their competitive debuts. Jonas Lossl, Mathias Zanka, Tom Ince and Steve Mounié all start for the Terriers at Selhurst Park. Aaron Mooy and Kasey Palmer are also in the starting line-up after signing permanently this summer, after loan spells at the club last season.
Head-to-head: Huddersfield's last top-flight match back in 1972 was also away at Crystal Palace, which ended 0-0. Whilst Palace have won just one of their last 12 matches against Huddersfield Town. A good opening day omen for the Premier League new boys.
The teams are out here at Selhurst Park and kick-off is almost upon us! Stay tuned for all of the match action as both teams get their Premier League season underway.
HALF-TIME: PALACE 0-2 HUDDERSFIELD
A superb first-half of football by Huddersfield Town and they deservedly hold a two-nil lead at the break. Palace simply can't keep up with the pace that the Terriers are playing with at the moment and they are struggling to get back into the game. An own goal by Joel Ward gave Town the lead, before Mounie doubled their lead just two minutes later.
FULL-TIME: PALACE 0-3 HUDDERSFIELD
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
A fantastic start to the season by Huddersfield Town, they put in a superb performance today and fully deserved to take all three points at Selhurst Park. An own goal by Joel Ward gave Town the lead, before Mounie doubled their lead just two minutes later. Mounie then made it three-nil late on to wrap up the points. A poor performance by Palace, who have much work to do. However, Huddersfield are top of the league!
