CHANCE! What a miss from Partey who, after connect ing with Saul’s cross-cum-shot, can only drill wide from point-blank range.
90' +1
Incredible news in from Vigo! Celta have re-taken the lead against Sociedad, meaning that - barring another comeback - Bilbao will qualify for the Europa League!
90'
There will be three minutes of stoppage time…
89'
Á. Correa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid!
GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL!!! CORREA MAKES IT 3-1! Well, Tiago had hardly left the field, but his replacement wasted no time in making sure of the point. Griezmann’s strike rebounded off the base of the upright, and Correa was on hand to thump in from close-range.
88'
Á. Correa enters the game and replaces Tiago.
Moments after Hernandez heads over from Griezmann’s corner, there’s a really emotional moment at Vicente Calderon, as Tiago - such a terrific player for the club - leaves the pitch in tears. He achieves a standing ovation from the Atleti faithful, and hugs from all his teammates as well as the coaching staff. His replacement is Angel Correa.
85'
Bilbao need a goal, but it is Atleti who are dominating proceedings now, without really clicking into a higher gear. It’s a huge five minutes - plus stoppage time - for the visitors, who have to spoil Atleti’s party…
84'
News in from the other meaningful game in LaLiga for Bilbao, and it is bad news for Bilbao, with Sociedad having levelled against Celta Vigo. As it stands, Bilbao’s Basque rivals will replace Valverde’s side in the Europa League next term!
81'
No, is the answer. Griezmann’s strike was powerful, but directed straight into the wall. Atleti maintain the territory, though a sloppy mistake from Tiago - captaining the side on his final appearance - relieves the pressure.
80'
A free-kick for Atleti puts Bilbao on the back foot. Griezmann is standing over it, 30 yards from goal. Can he put his name into the history books with Atelti’s final-ever goal at this stadium…
79'
CLOSE! Rico goes for goal from range, and the substitutes’ effort is just off target. Oblak was diving to his right, but would not have got there had the ball dipped under the crossbar.

Description
76'
We’re into the final 15 minutes of LaLiga football at the Vicente Calderon, now, with Bilbao looking for an equaliser to all-but ensure Europa League football next term.
74'
Mikel Rico enters the game and replaces Beñat.
A third and final change for Bilbao. Mikel Rico replaces Benat.
71'
I. Williams has scored a goal for Athletic Bilbao! Assist by De Marcos.
Atleti’s makeshift defence has rarely been tested today, but De Marcos’ moment of quality carved open the hosts’ back line.
GOOOOAAAAALLL! BILBAO PULL ONE BACK! Well, are we in for a grandstand finish now? A lovely pass from De Marcos opened up Atleti’s defence, allowing Williams to thump a strike towards goal. It looked set to beat Oblak anyway, but a wicked deflection off Savic makes sure that it does so.
70'
N. Gaitán enters the game and replaces Y. Carrasco.
Another change for the hosts. Yannick Carrasco makes way, and Nicolas Gaitan comes on.
68'
Bilbao are showing no signs of getting back into this contest, though as it stands they are still in line to qualify for the Europa League - with Celta still ahead against Sociedad.
66'
Griezmann engineers some space for himself and immediately looks to catch Kepa out with a low strike from an acute angle, but Bilbao’s goalkeeper reacts well to make a comfortable stop.
64'
K. Gameiro enters the game and replaces Fernando Torres.
A momentous occasion now, as Atleti’s two-goal hero and club legend Fernando Torres bids farewell to the Vicente Calderon. It has been an ideal end to his time at this stadium, and he will now be part of Atleti’s next chapter. His replacement is Kevin Gameiro.
61'
Balenziaga whips in a decent cross from the left, but Oblak is again alert to the danger, coming off his line quickly to take the catch.
58'
WHAT A BLOCK! Somehow, Torres has failed to get his third goal! The Atleti striker got through and rounder Bilbao’s goalkeeper with ease, but Laporte manages to get back and block Torres’ shot brilliantly. The ball looks set to spin over the line anyway, only for Griezmann - who was offside - to recklessly flick it in, meaning that the official has no choice but to disallow it.
57'
Susaeta enters the game and replaces Raúl García.
A second change of the game now from the visitors, and it receives a huge roar of appreciation from both sets of fans as former Atleti stalwart Raul Garcia is replaced by Markel Susaeta.
56'
CLOSE! Carrasco tries his luck from the edge of Bilbao’s area with a first-time strike, but he cannot direct it into the bottom-right corner.
55'
News in from Vigo, and it is indeed Celta who have taken the lead against Sociedad. It is unlikely the Bilbao players will know this, though as it stands, Valverde’s men will be in Europe even if they go on to lose this match.
54'
With Bilbao throwing more players forward, it is creating more space for Atleti on the counter, with Torres, Griezmann and Carrasco all looking to capitalise.
52'
CHANCE! Atleti should have been 3-0 up! Carrasco weaved his way into the area, fooling several Bilbao defenders with a series of dummies. That enables Partey to find space at the back post, but Carrasco fails to spot his teammate, instead electing to go for goal, and his shot sails over.
50'
SAVE! Fantastic reactions from Oblak, who instinctively tips over Laporte's header, which could well have crept under the crossbar.
48'
Bilbao have to go all-out now to get back into this game as, unless Celta Vigo can snatch a goal against Sociedad, Valverde's side will miss-out on European football should they fail to get at least a point.
46'
I. Williams enters the game and replaces Iturraspe.
Welcome back for the second-half. There has been a first substitution for Bilbao, as Ander Iturraspe makes way for Inaki Williams.
45' +1
Gabi gets yellow.
Gabs becomes the second Atleti player to go into the referee’s book, after he scythed down Muniain.
45'
Great work by Partey down the right almost leads to another opening for Atleti, but the youngster’s cross is blocked before it reaches Carrasco.
43'
Bilbao are soon restored to their full compliment of players, with Muniain having been deemed fit enough to continue.
41'
Muniain, though, does appear a bit jaded from that challenge, having perhaps took a knock to the head. The winger is brought to the touchline, and will just receive some treatment before returning to the field of play.
39'
That’s a harsh booking for Partey, who appeared to have won the ball back from Muniain fairly. The referee disagrees, though, and despite Atleti’s protests, cautions the youngster.
38'
T. Partey gets yellow.
Atleti get rather fortunate as Carrasco concedes possession to Muniain in the host’s area. The official quickly calls play back, though, spotting that the Belgian winger had been fouled.
37'
Fine goalkeeping from Oblak, who despite having had little to do so far, reacts well to another good free-kick from Benat to punch the ball clear.
35'
Plenty of neat and tidy build-up play from the visitors, but it is lacking any penetration, and Oblak has not yet had a save to make with 10 minutes remaining until the interval. Bilbao do have an opportunity now, though, with Gabi having conceded a free-kick on the edge of Atleti's area...
33'
Bilbao have really offered very little so far, though it has to be said that Atleti have been spectacularly clinical with the chances they have created.
30'
Unusually wasteful from Griezmann, who at the culmination of a brilliant run down the right flank, only manages to run the ball out of play under little pressure.
29'
De Marcos tries his luck from the edge of the area, but his shot trickles wide.
27'
A free header for Alvarez, but the Bilbao youngster fails to capitalise after latching onto Benat’s well-delivered set-piece. His header was goal bound, though didn’t look to have the power behind it to beat Oblak. It never made it to goal anyway, however, as Tiago got across to make a block.
25'
Aduriz has played more games without scoring against Atletico than against any other team in La Liga since he joined Bilbao (10), and the veteran forward is yet to have an opportunity in this match...
22'
A bit of sustained possession for the visitors, though Atleti’s defence is yet to be tested. Muniain looks to get free down the left wing, but Koke and Partey come across to see-off any danger.
20'
Atleti’s defence is makeshift at best today, though the likes of Partey and Saul - who are playing at right-back and centre-back respectively despite both preferring central midfield roles - have hardly been tested by Bilbao’s attack so far.
18'
Almost a third for Atleti as Griezmann looks to latch onto a long ball over the top, but the former Sociedad forward can't connect with his attempted header.
15'
Atleti could be the team with the fewest goals scored conceded in La Liga this season (26). They have achieved this record in three of the last four campaigns (31 in 2012/13, 26 in 2013/14 and 18 in 2015/16).
13'
It truly is a party atmosphere at Vicente Calderon at the moment. Bilbao are looking to make an immediate response to that quick-fire Torres double, but as it stands, it is the Sociedad who will be claiming the final Europa League spot in LaLiga, and not their Basque-country rivals.
11'
Fernando Torres has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Koke.
Griezmann and Koke have starred all season for Atleti, and the two combined brilliantly there to create that opening.
GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!! TORRES AGAIN! Thrilling, fantastic play from Atleti, who have turned on the style at Vicente Calderon, sending some sections of the home support into tears! The build-up play was slick once again, with Griezmann playing a brilliant pass over to Koke, who in turn headed the ball back into the danger area. The chance looked to have gone as Torres had to adjust his feet, but somehow he made a firm enough connection to despatch a wonderful finish into the bottom-right corner.
8'
Fernando Torres has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by A. Griezmann.
The move was instigated by a superb pass from Tiago, who spotted Griezmann’s clever run in behind Bilbao’s defence. The France star could have gone for goal himself, but instead cushioned the ball into Torres, who made no mistake.
GOOOOAALLLLLL!!! TORRES! Well, what a moment for Atleti, and who better to put the hosts in front on this momentous day than club legend Torres. Sublime build-up play allowed Griezmann to find space in the area, and his headed knock-down was perfectly-weighted into Torres’ path, with the strike duly tucking home from six yards out.
6'
A typically swift counter-attack from Atleti leads to the game's first half-chance, as Carrasco finds space down the right. He has Torres in support, but the Belgian’s cross is a poor one, and the ball flashes across the area before the former Liverpool striker can get there.
5'
A rather relaxed start to proceedings in Madrid, with Bilbao looking to apply some early pressure - though without any real conviction in their play. Atleti, meanwhile, seem content to sit deep for now as they ease their way into a rhythm.
3'
Atleti of course cannot win any silverware this campaign, though it is far from a disappointment for Someone’s men. Likewise, Bilbao - under the tutelage of Ernesto Valverde, who has been instilled as the bookmakers’ favourite to take over at Barcelona - have enjoyed a fine season.
1'
KICK-OFF! So, after 50 years at the Vicente Calderon, Atleti - donning their usual white-and-red striped home kit - get proceedings underway in their final game at this famous stadium!
Hello and welcome, football fans, to LIVE coverage of the final day of the LaLiga season, as we bring you all the action from Atletico Madrid's last-ever game at the Vicente Calderon, as Diego Simeone's side take on Athletic Bilbao!
With a club-record fifth consecutive top-three finish already secured, there would normally be little riding on this fixture for Atleti. However, given the significance of their move away from this historic staple of Spanish football, the hosts are sure to be hoping to go out on a high before they take up residence in their new, 70,000 Wanda Metropolitano home.
Meanwhile, doubts also remain about Simeone's future in the Spanish capital. The Argentine has been in charge of Atleti since 2011, but is a reported target of Serie A giants Inter, who are aiming to rebuild after another disappointing campaign.
Bilbao, on the other hand, need to at least match Real Sociedad's result to guarantee a berth in next season's Europa League. Bilbao and Sociedad - whose game against Celia Vigo kicks off at the same time - are level on 63 points in sixth and seventh place respectively.
Bilbao substitutes: Iraizoz, Boveda, Williams, Susaeta, Lekue, Etxeita, Rico.
It’s a fantastic, celebratory atmosphere at the Vicente Calderon as both teams make their way out onto the pitch, though today is sure to be bittersweet for the Atleti faithful regardless of the result.
Bilbao (4-2-3-1): Kepa; De Marcos, Alvarez, Laporte, Balenziaga; San Jose, Iturraspe; Garcia, Benat, Muniain; Aduriz.
HALF TIME: Atletico Madrid 2 Athletic Bilbao 0.
Atleti have served up a clinical display in that opening 45 minutes, as two goals from Fernando Torres early on in proceedings have put Diego Simeone’s side into cruise control heading into the final 45 minutes of LaLiga football to be played at Vicente Calderon.
A victorious end to life at Vicente Calderon for Atleti then, thanks to Fernando Torres’ early double and a late strike from Angel Correa either side of Inaki Williams’ effort. And, despite the defeat, it’s a good day for Bilbao, who qualify for the Europa League thanks to Celta Vigo’s 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.
FULL TIME: Atletico Madrid 3 Athletic Bilbao 1.
Well, after 50 years, the final-ever LaLiga game at Vicente Calderon ends in a convincing win for Atleti. There will be one more match played at this stadium before its demolition, with Barcelona and Alaves going head-to-head in the Copa del Rey final next weekend.
